Young man was very polite and went to work quick checked out everything and did an air test wife just came home from hospital and they said to check that, added freeon it's colder didn't try to sell anything I didn't need.

This was the best contractor experience I have ever had. Jay was very thorough and laid out a complete solution to my problem, not just an immediate fix. Jed was very professional, communicated throughout, was on time and stayed until the job was done right. Thank you all.

It was a sincere pleasure to work with Jacob yesterday. He was very personable and knowledgeable, listened attentively to our concerns and asked follow-up questions. He then proceeded to conduct several technical measurements which others had not done and then produced several options for us to consider. To sum up the experience, Jacob represented Du-West exceptionally well.

Jed and Sean with Du West came by today and did a fantastic job determining the issue with my home gas heater system not functioning. They were both pleasant to talk to but also knowledgeable and professional. Not only did they try to get my unit up and running right then but also presented me with options for repair or replacement, considering that my unit is now 20 years old. Having a yearly Du West maintenance / checkup program paid for itself on this trip alone. Awesome company and I recommend Du West to all my friends. Tell Jim Dutton he has great employees that are trained well!

I just had my winter tuneup done with Du West Air Conditioning. They sent a wonderful technician Joe G. He did my winter maintenance. He was very careful, efficient, professional, and friendly. He also put me at ease when I asked him to check every room for leaks that may cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Joe told me the company always checks this for my safety. Joe used a handheld gague to pinpoint any leaks that might cause poisoning. He went into EACH one of my rooms aiming at vents AND the FLOOR! He explained carbon monoxide is heavier than air. He mentioned they consider the safety of animals too, especially since they walk at floor level. So he was careful to check everywhere including the the attic connections AND vent penetrations. Joe took many pictures for me of critical connections he checked, inside and outside my home. Cleaning both the units and rinsing grass and hurricane dust off the coils.
They make sure every room is clear of dangerous fumes. They report any kind of gas leak as well in the attic !
Most importantly he help me understand my thermostat, which always made me crazy how to turn the heat on and off, etc.. It confused me. I am “old”… but Joe made it simple: there are only 3 buttons that really matter. I labeled them and used a sticky tab and it is now easy to use even in the dark!

The HVAC Specialist, Jed Ames was professional, knowledgeable and provided a detailed analysis of my Furnace and Compressor issues. He provided several options in regard to the required scope of repairs and optional manufacturers. Ultimately, the furnace which was installed in 2001 was replaced. The installation was scheduled the same day and the furnace was installed by Manuel and Dennis who were professional and respectful of my home. During the removal of the existing and installation of the new furnace, great care was exercised to insure that there would be no damage to the interior of my home! Same day, seamless replacement from the service call to installation. Extremely satisfied with the customer relations and services provided by Du-West! 👍

Jason came out and serviced our HVAC system and replaced several parts and we now have AC and heat. I was impressed with his knowledge, courtesy and professionalism.

Jed Ames did a thorough maintenance on our HVAC system. Of all the HVAC maintenance we had the last 10 years this was the best one. He answered ALL my questions which were so many with patience. He is professional, respectful and knows his stuff.

The technician was well prepared and knowledgeable. He found a serious problem with the AC/Heat ducts that will need repair/replacement soon. We hope he is available in the future for this mandatory repair.
He also repaired the outside system with only the parts that it needed. We learned a lot from this outstanding young man.
