I would give these guys 0 stars if I could. There business practices are unbelievable. Their so called Expert Electrical installers installed a power outlet on the side of a cabinet where a drawer for the trash can. The trash can will not fit. Now they want to charge extra to fix this stupid mistake.

We have had nothing but problems with this company. Constant unavailability to come do our warranty service. Constantly rescheduling us. It seems like they prioritize new business, but give you the runaround when you have a warranty issue. I don’t recommend using this company.

Very poor customer service. I asked for an estimate on a Monday. They told me they would call back within 24 hours. Two days later after no response, I called back - again told to wait for a call back. I called again Thursday - same deal. Friday, called again. Finally I received a call back Friday afternoon and scheduled a visit for the next Monday. (They refused to give any sort of estimate over the phone - despite how simple the job was). Monday rolls around, and the electrician comes by. He says after talking to his boss, they might need to upgrade my main panel and the meter coming in from the electrical company to add a 50 amp circuit. I ask him how he couldn't tell me that after looking at the system himself...he didn't seem to have a basic understanding of how electrical loading worked. Regardless, he couldn't give me an estimate in person, and told me he would get back to me later that day after discussing with his boss. It is now Thursday, and I haven't heard a thing. I already went with another electrician who did the work in less than an hour for less than $250. I recommend you seek out Koepsel Electric. Don't waste your time with Powerhouse.

Our builder used this company. We have multiple problems in the wiring and the breakers since we moved in. I have to spend hundreds of dollars to find someone to fix their mistakes and laziness. Bolts were missing causing breaker to trip. This was just ONE of the problems.

Our builder used the Powerhouse division out of Marble Falls. Mike and Tate were on top of all of our questions and had such good attitudes throughout the entire build. Out of all the trades associated with our new home Powerhouse made the most lasting impression! We will use them for our future projects for sure!

Great experience working with this company - the Marble Falls/Highland Lakes area division specifically. Thorough communication and excellent service throughout - easy to coordinate our other trades with and no scheduling hiccups. Highly recommended across the board for production work or one off’s.

I was having a problem with my A\C and dryer breakers tripping. We called Powerhouse who not only fixed our issue, but made sure to gives us a direct contact should anything happen down the road. I always appreciate someone explaining what is happening and why. I cant say enough about how much time and frustration Powerhouse saved us. We will use them again should we need to, hopefully not.

Powerhouse installed a lighting fixture in my home. Two years later, I chose them to uninstall the lighting fixture and install a new lighting fixture, given their experience with the prior installation. Their fee was overpriced, non-negotiable, and cash only. They left an hole in my ceiling when they ripped the lighting from my ceiling to uninstall it. They refused to cover the cost to get the ceiling repaired. The manager reported that it wasn't their fault. This company is terrible. I am completely dissatisfied with their service.

I must commend Powerhouse Electric for the prompt attention and service to fix an electrical problem with smoke detectors in my home. They sent Mark, a nice service technician, to fix the problem during a very busy scheduling time. Accolades to DR Horton Homebuilder’s family of service providers, particularly Powerhouse Electric!

The Powerhouse Electrical Services team was excellent to work with. From the customer service representatives to their field personnel, they were professional and explained the problems we had (and the correct solutions). Plus, they fixed our electrical issues the first time. I would highly recommend Powerhouse Electrical Services if you were in need of electric services at your home or business.

Can’t say enough good things about the folks at Powerhouse! We recently lost power to both our rainwater harvesting and well water systems due to a contractor severing our 220V/90A power cable, and Powerhousecame to the rescue! They had us back up and running in less than 2 days from the time I first called - routed over 300’ of new power cable in cold weather - and we are so grateful.. they made our emergency their emergency, and they kept us informed throughout. We’ve also used Powerhouse for smaller jobs like ceiling fan installation, connecting to different subpanels, etc.. I highly recomment them for all of your electrical needs - big or small. Prmpt, courteous, professional - from customer service to estimating to the installers. Fair and transparent pricing. Call them!

So thankful for this company! Jeremy was beyond amazing and very knowledgeable! The process of getting my father in law power over to his shop was such a daunting task; but after having Jeremy out to look everything over the process was seamless and efficient. Again thank you for getting us all set up we are so grateful!

If you had a home built using this company then you need to get their work checked by a qualified electrician. They are incredibly rude (Tom and his lackeys) to anyone who challenges them and do NOT stand by their work. Check the cabinet under your sink, if this was the electrician your builder used, you may be in danger too. They do not respect their customers once they get paid and they do not have pride of workmanship. Disgraceful business practices.

Update: I am pleasantly surprised to report they did the right thing and sent a senior tech out to evaluate and assess. He was very helpful, informative, and pleasant to interact with. He was the redeeming factor that I needed for the circumstances. The co-owners stepped up and made that happen.

I have changed my rating as a result of the assessment. Keith found and replaced another concerning outlet as well as replaced the most recent outlet. Then he showed me how to check for more with a gadget I will be ordering today.

There is some uncertainty when meeting in the middle if the recurring issue is from the original install or the original owners who did make multiple fixture changes as easily evidenced in images from the listing I purchased from.

After receiving no follow-up and being contacted by the builder’s warranty specialist, it has become clear that Powerhouse is not playing above-the-board.

The saga of nonsense continues as outlets continue to overheat.
