Horrible experience with Ray and his team - They misplaced the irrigation so about half of our plants are dead. One of the sprinklers is HITTING our house so that will cause water damage over time… AND he won’t come back to help fix it. I never leave reviews but this experience was so bad I feel like I need to warn people… We were debating between Ray and another company and I wish so bad we had used the other landscaping company.

Ray is a great owner to work with, he was able to figure out the essential part of my project, work with my budget based on the priorities; he responds fast to my inquiry and very easy communication. Now my backyard has beautiful lawns! Plus, the crews are very proficient, they laid down 3 pallets quickly. Big thanks to y’all.

In NW Austin, cedar park, leander or Round Rock and need a sprinkler system these are your guys. Matt and Al are awesome and they do a good job for a fair price.

Matt and Allen are the best. Ours was installed 4 or 5 years ago. One small problem two weeks ago and Bob showed up pronto! Highly recommended.

Can I give them a negative star?? Worst customer service I have EVER dealt with!!
Between the original builder's incompetent irrigation crews and installing a pool in our backyard, our sprinkler system had become a nightmare. Not good coverage, inefficient heads, zones coming on when they shouldn't, and even a live sprinkler head under the slab!
So, I called Hunter Sprinklers to have them come out to give me an idea of what it would take to get all of my irrigation issues corrected, how long it might take and how much it might cost. You know, like an "estimate".
They guy they sent out ("Fish") was rude, complaining about us asking for an estimate when he's an "$89 an hour man." He literally told us "I can't tell you whether it will take 3 hours or 3 days". What?? You can't get any closer than that with your estimate, and you expect me to pay you $89 an hour? After we told him "thanks for your time", he proceeded to yell at my wife in front of our neighbors. (He was a real impression on our neighbors, as well. One came by to check on us later to make sure we were ok). He treated us with total disrespect, acted like he was being inconvenienced to be at our home, and that he was doing us a favor by even getting out of his truck to look at our back yard and talk to us.
This was the worst customer treatment I have ever received from ANY service company in my 56 years. And to top it all off, I called the office to speak with someone who *might* care that they have such a completely rude person representing them in the field. I was told that the owner of the company ("Bob") would give me a call. Bob has not called back, so I would assume either he doesn't care what type of employees he has or that he has the same lack of customer care that Fish does. Either way, STAY AWAY from these guys. Do not use them for repairs, installation, or even directions to the nearest McDonalds.

I called on Wednesday and they were able to come out that Friday to fix a broken sprinkler head. A guy by the name of Fish came out and was on-time, did a very thorough fine tuning of all heads and zones and run times. Fish was super nice and personable and I will definitely use Hunter Sprinklers again for any irrigation needs.

2013:
I called a few sprinkler repair and install companies and a few never returned my call and others took a very long time. Hunter S&L were easy to get a hold of and were able to schedule me in for repairs in a reasonable amount of time. They kept their appointment time (they actually showed up a little early) and quickly found the problem when they came out. They even replaced a sprinkler head that wasn't working properly for no extra charge. It's nice to find a good sprinkler service that keeps their appointments and are knowledgeable.

Second visit in April 2014:
New construction messed up my sprinkler system. I called Bob again for repairs. He came out and quickly found and fixed the first issue and found more damage that was done but not obvious. He fixed both problems at a very reasonable price. Very happy for a second time.
