MetroTex did an awesome job. The crews are very professional and cleaned everything afterward. The cracks are all closed up. The door is closed again. The window is back into place. 16 concrete piers were installed. Everything went smoothly. The whole process was quick and done within a week. Give Steve a call, you won’t be disappointed.

I did not hire Metro-Tex Foundation for the work on my house. But I did have Steve come out to my home to look at my foundation and give me an estimate for repair, if needed. After spending a few minutes in my house looking and talking to me he recommended 9 piers be installed through my floor in the center of my house. He never even used the "ZipLevel" on my house to see if there were high or low spots. Two following foundations companies have said my foundation is fine, especially in the center of my house. I call Metro-Tex Foundation based on reviews...but will not be using them for any work on my house.

Metro-Tex Foundation did an awesome job fixing a 7/10'' settlement of the corner of the house I just bought in Frisco, TX. They had to come out twice - first to drill the holes and pour concrete, then, after a week (to let concrete settle and dry) - to install 5 concrete piers. The whole house is now perfectly level.

Metro-Tex crew took a good care of my landscaping, restored the sprinkler system to it's original working state. Work is covered by the lifetime transferable warranty.

As in previous review - Metro-Tex was recommended to me by the structural engineer who inspected my house before purchase and kept the originally quoted price. I would recommend this contractor to a friend.

Steve has a wealth of experience and he was honest with us in addressing our foundation concerns. He offered options, however; he made sure to advise us on the best course of action. He was pleasant and professional. I greatly appreciate that he took the time to thoroughly evaluate our home.

I had a concern about a crack in my slab and Metro Steve of Tex foundation came out in short notice and performed an evaluation.
With my level of concern, any other company would have taken advantage and tried to sell a whole bunch of stuff. Steve was honest and truthful with his evaluation - no HUGE concern. Just a few knowledgeable recommendations that only comes with experience.
Not a salesperson. The recommendations given were for me to do at my leisure. I trusted Steve so much that I asked if he would do those recommendations. Even though removing trees/bushes is not his job, he accepted at a very good price.

Bottom line - if you want truth, call Steve with Metro Tex Foundation

We have called Steve to our home for both foundation and drainage repair quotes and under both circumstances he has assured us that repairs are unnecessary and could cause more harm than good. My husband and I appreciate his honesty and integrity at a time when he could have easily sold us services that we didn't actually need. If our situations change, we'll definitely call Metro Tex back again to do repairs for us.

Steve was responsive, honest, and very clearly knows what he is doing regarding foundation repair. Ours is an older pier-and-beam house, and, thanks to North Texas' clayey soils and an extended drought, we had some major cracking due to shrinking soils under our home. Steve's team established trust right away with their sincere concern and commitment to fixing our problem the right way, right away.

With so many unsavory characters in this business, it was a relief to work with Metro-Tex Foundation. I was referred to Steve by a good friend and will certainly recommend him to anyone in need of this service in North Texas -- and I'll be calling him anytime I need such a service again.

For sometime now we've had a few cracks in some of the drywall on the inside of the house and some in the mortar on the outside. While the cracks are not significant, they are noticeable so we decided to call some foundation companies and get their assessment. The first two companies recommended several piers. The first company estimate for piers was over $24,000 plus a recommendation to add French drains at a cost in excess of $6,000, totaling over $30,000 for the entire job. The second company suggested several piers but did not mention adding French drains. We did not receive a quote from the second company as they suggested the measurements they took would likely be different once summer comes and the soil dries out. I suggested we wait and retake the measurements in August so no quote was provided. I'm writing this review for the third company we reached out to, Metro Tex Foundations. As Steve, the owner, walked around the house and through the inside of the house as I pointed out the cracks we called about, he jokingly said, Sir, you have and I quote, "champagne problems". Meaning our issues are not major as we thought they might be, and in fact they're really just cosmetic and to be expected due to north Texas soil and age of our mid 70's house. Steve recommended doing nothing to my surprise. He was happy to install piers if I wanted, but said it wouldn't make a significant different with what I'm experiencing. WOW.....when does a contactor recommend doing nothing!!! In fact he provide a report of his assessment they usually don't provide since they were doing nothing, but he did. So the assessment was free, and the report was free, definitely not expected! If you're experiencing foundation issues, I'd strongly recommend getting multiple opinions and for sure, get one from Metro Tex Foundation! Maybe you need foundation repair, maybe you don't, but I'm comfortable saying Metro Tex Foundation will give you an honest opinion of what you do or DON'T need.
