Compassion, Integrity, and a Roof Over My Grandmother’s Head – Thank You, People’s Construction
I don’t usually write reviews, but what People’s Construction did for my grandmother deserves to be shared.
After a terrible windstorm tore shingles off her roof, my 84-year-old grandmother was frightened and unsure of what to do. She lives alone, and the idea of navigating roofing repairs was overwhelming for her—and for the rest of us, honestly. We didn’t know who to trust or where to start.
That changed the moment we called People’s Construction.
From the very beginning, they were kind, professional, and deeply respectful. But one person stood out in particular—Kevin. Kevin was not only strong, knowledgeable, and clearly great at what he does—he was also one of the most genuinely kind and compassionate people we've ever met. My grandmother instantly felt at ease around him, which says a lot. She even said, “He reminded me of your grandfather back in the day—so polite and handsome.”
Kevin took the time to explain every detail to her, never rushed, and made sure she understood everything. He treated her like she was his own grandmother, and that meant the world to us.
The work they did was flawless. Her new roof looks beautiful, and even more importantly, it gives her a renewed sense of safety and comfort. She sits by the window now, watching the sky without fear—something I hadn’t seen her do since before the storm.
People’s Construction didn’t just fix a roof. They gave an elderly woman back her peace of mind, and gave our family a sense of relief we can’t put a price on.

Great company! We worked with Jade to see if our roof was damaged and needed to be replaced. He came out in a timely manner that worked with my schedule and checked to see if I had any damage. He is knowledgeable and even offered to check my neighbors roof since he was in the area. 10 stars!

I can't say enough good things about the service and work conducted by the crew at Peoples Construction. I needed a new roof and I decided to go with Peoples.... both Omar and Nik made the whole process unbelievably simple. They stuck with me even when my insurance company initially denied my claim. Omar and Nik did not give up and ultimately the claim was approved! The crew from Peoples were amazing.... they were up on the roof by 7 am on a Saturday and finished all the work by 6 pm the same day! They did a top notch job and even the clean up process was done with the utmost thoroughness. If I have another roof job (or any home construction work) to do again, I won't hesitate to make my first call the team at Peoples!

Omar has been an amazing person to work with. He has made his way all the way to Waxahachie, TX for my roofing needs. We recently experienced a hail storm that severely damaged the roof of my home, which I have worked hard to own. Luckily, Omar offered to inspect it (for free) and was able to give me a visual on the damage. I decided to trust him with the process (knowing that insurance claims can be difficult) and do not regret trusting him one bit. I can happily say that Omar, along with his team, did an amazing job at keeping me informed and updated with the roofing process.
I also decided to hire Omar for a paint job in my home. I can gladly say that he, once again, did not disappoint. I look forward to continue working with him in the future and hope that this review can help others with their home needs.

Great company to work with. Josh handled our roof repair from start to end to give us a beautiful roof after the storm damage our old one. Took just a day to put the new roof on and when done you couldn't tell a whole crew was just working there, because the clean up was spotless. Easily recommend.

Had our new house struck by lightning which led to a house fire. People’s Construction was quick to come by and help tarp up our roof to help prevent further damage while we waited on the insurance adjuster to come through and evaluate the loss. Super friendly team and so quick to respond - everything was taken care of the day we contacted them. Edgar and Nic did a great job at communicating and were insistent on helping us understand our options and what to expect moving forward, regardless of whether or not we wanted to continue working with them for the rebuild and repairs. Unfortunately we got hit by the bad storms a little while back and had to have our roof replaced, Nathan Barnes helped us out and got our roof replaced all in one day and with the products I wanted. Cleaned up very good afterwards and the roof looks great. Thanks

We recently completed a full kitchen remodel with People’s Construction, and the transformation is beyond what we imagined. From the design phase to the final finishes, every part of the process was handled with care and professionalism.
Joseph Mendoza was our project lead, and he made the experience smooth and enjoyable. They told me they would fix my roof and I gave them my money and they never came back to do anything . I’m a senior citizen and they took my money . I’m on social security. And a fixed income they forced me to call in a claim and even after I told them I’m not financially capable of paying my deductible. . They scheduled a meeting with my insurance company and got my roof payed for they tricked me into signing a contingency agreement . And took the check insurance sent me . And now I feel like no one will insure me after what I went through . I need the Texas stat to know they are crooked sales men and give roofing companies a bad name . If the knock on your door don’t give them a chance call the cops report them I have and they know I can’t afford legal counsel. So they victimize me and left me in a worse situation than I already was in . The worst day of my life by far is answering there knock at my door . I live in Sanger Texas . Watch out for these crooks
