Messaged Blake on a Friday, had sod installed on a Monday. They asked all the right questions, gave great feedback based on their professional knowledge and experience, and completed the job in a day. Highly recommend using Plano Landscaping.

I hired Plano Landscaping to address some dead spots in my yard, and I was thoroughly impressed with their efficiency, caution, and professionalism throughout the project. I highly recommend their services for anyone in need of sod installation.

Bad sod, terrible customer service. Lawn died after just a few months. Blake said they’d fix it but they just never showed up. Wish I could give negative stars.

UPDATE - Kevin contacted me to rectify the situation and arranged for a crew to come install new sod. The new sod looks healthier than the original sod ever did and the crew did a proper installation. They were friendly, courteous, and did a good job. We’re a month in and I’m hopeful that this lawn will stay looking this good. I’m very pleased with the new lawn and Plano Landscaping’s response in replacing the lawn that died.

Terrible experience!! Hired this company to put in Zoysia on my yard back in June including upgrading the flower beds and laid the garden fabric.
They delivered the grass in 2 rounds. They dropped the first round which cover only a quarter of total sqf in the late afternoon (possibly an extra from other project).
They left the grass on the pallets for about 4 days in the hot summer before they started laid the grass down. When the grass was put on the ground, it was still green, but dry green.
The 2nd round came a few days later and they laid the grass next day. The installation process went well, the crews were great, even tho they busted couple sprinkler heads and pipe, they fixed it.
When they laid the grass on the 2nd round, the grass they laid on the 1st round already turn yellow. Not sure if it went to dormant mode. I asked one of the crews, but he said it will come back and just keep watering.
The problem is after couple months they are still yellow.
Told the issue to Kevin and he sent Victor the field manager/partner to check. Victor told me that will take care of this issue but when he talked to Kevin, he refused.
Kevin accused me letting the grass died for not giving enough water. He kept arguing that the grass wont die if have enough water and arguing the grass was fresh when it was laid.
I denied his argument as I did water the grass daily in the first 3 weeks. I have sod that was laid on the 2nd round in the same zone with the 1st grass next to each other using the same sprinkler head. But one is growing well, the other has turned yellow. I offered him to show him my water bill. The picture that deemed as his proof that the grass was fresh was taken after I ran the sprinkler. So, it looks wet and fresh. With all excuses, he refused to stand behind his product. All customers will not satisfied only because the sod was fresh when delivered, but expecting it will grow with reasonable care.
He offered to split the cost by paying him again another $800 to replace the grass. That’s not acceptable to me as I see that he just does not want to stand behind his product/work.
Be careful working with this company. It may be ok when nothing happen, but when something goes wrong, don’t expect them to take responsibility.
Stay away!!

Had a huge leak in my yard, couldn't figure out what was causing so I called Plano landscaping and not only did they identify the issue but they gave me the cheapest quote anyone gave me and did amazing work! Highly recommended!

Had zoysia sod installed in February 2024 and it looked very nice this spring except for one area that appeared dead.
Brought this to the attention of Kevin and he sent his crew to replace the dead area with new sod.

Everything went well, Victor came out and looked at the yard, I received an estimate in a few days and we were off and running with the new lawn. The crew that installed my lawn really knew what they were doing; it looks great, thanks to Kevin and everyone at Plano Landscaping.

As soon as I left a message I received a response back pretty quickly. I was in bad need of some dirt and sod for the side of my house. You could see the bottom of my foundation. Plano landscaping was able to to fit me in within about a week of me calling. I had a couple new appliances delivered that same day and I was so much more excited about my sod and dirt. It looks awesome!! They went out of their way to find me some really pretty St. Augustine. No more muddy dogs coming into my house. They did a wonderful job.

I filled out their online form from their website regarding planting a tree but nobody contacted me. Thinking the site might be broken, I called and spoke to a woman about having a tree planted in my front yard. She took my information and said someone would contact me. This was over a week ago and still nobody has contacted me. This is very unprofessional. I ended up hiring someone else.

I have used Plano Landscaping for two different jobs in my backyard and they have done a great job. I had new grass installed earlier in the Fall, followed up by a complete redo of my flower beds in early 2024. The beds involved replacing rotted wood, removal of weeded soil, replaced with fresh dirt, a cloth barrier to prevent further weeds and a final layer of two different colors of decorative rocks. The crew was on time, efficient, and polite. They checked with us several times to make sure we were happy with the progress and we had them change a few things which they very politely did. It has been a long time since we felt good about sitting in our back yard but we are very happy now about all the positive changes thanks to Plano Landscaping. We are contacting them about redoing our front beds as well.

We had a great experience with Plano Landscaping. They were very responsive in providing me with a quote on filling in bare spots in my yard with sod. They were fairly priced and did an amazing job!

We were well pleased with Plano Landscaping. They did a great job adding a sprinkler system to our back yard before laying sod, adding a French drain, river rock flower beds and flat stone pathway. They are excellent to work with, honest, prompt and efficient at completing the job. We will definitely use them again for future projects!

Plano Landscaping did a great job preparing soil and placing sod plus totally reconstructing our front beds. They were timely even though the weather delayed us and a foundation issue delayed us. They communicated well and everyone from designers, owners, manager and workers were thoughtful, hardworking and polite.

Plano Landscaping did a great job with our landscaping project. They worked with great efficiency and care on our irrigation and also removed trees and replaced grass and flowers. The communication was easy, they were responsive and addressed our requests quickly. I would highly recommend this company for any comprehensive landscaping that is needed.

Plano Landscaping did a fantastic job basically repairing and replacing inferior work done by another party, then installing sod, and a French drain. Oliver understood very quickly what I wanted to accomplish. The crew showed up promptly, completed the work, and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Every question I asked was answered promptly and thoroughly, and I highly recommend Plano Landscaping.

Tried getting some quotes from Kelli Russel, one of their Business reps, and got some pretty short responses. Told me the price was the price for sod installation regardless of if the lawn was already completely prepped and no additional manual labor was needed for tilling, grading, etc. Said *maybe* they could do a slight discount but sounded annoyed I was even asking.

She scoffed when I asked about a quote for sprinkler installations without sod and effectively said it “wasn’t worth their time”. There’s just really no need to be rude to anybody like that, especially when they’re a prospective customer.

Plano Landscaping did a great job of replacing two oak trees with smaller trees. The oaks were too large for the space. Blake worked with me via text and email to find appropriate tree replacements. After getting approval from my HOA, he sent out a team of landscapers who delivered two beautiful trees to replace the oaks. The team worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up everything before leaving.
