I am from community with a review posted by Rohan. That contract ended up being a disaster. US lawn Plano performed Awful service. We had to terminate for cause and the last 30 days they were a no show. Additionally they had been collecting for mulch for 9 months and refused to perform the service.

Our community went from one of the best to the trashy looking common areas because US Lawns failed to perform their contractual obligations.

Do not hire his company …..

I watched this car cut off two people, then brake check and proceeded to cut me off. When I used my blinker, to inform ppl I was turning, this car cut me off again and didn’t use any blinker. Then again, break checked me and zoomed off. Who is this driver? And why would they drive crazy with a COMPANY car? Crazy.

We have worked with Woodlake Outdoor for the last several years and they are always very proactive and responsive to communication.

This place is absolute garbage. Their trash and litter spill out all over the neighborhood. This trash box should be permanently closed.

Hundreds bad visits for my entire neighborhood. Woodlake provides my entire HOA with their services. Over scalping yards, not diluting fertilizer enough and burning yards, braking holiday decorations. Finally worst experience caught a worker purposely hitting my dog in the face with a weed eater. Company gave worker a 3 day suspension when he should of been terminated. Almost called police for animal cruelty. On our neighborhood Facebook page 100s of negative comments about woodlake.

This company will take your money. Promise the world yet present you with absolutely nothing 6 k in irrigation repairs and we still have nothing but irrigation issues with flags peppered across our community like dandelions. It’s impossible to get ahold of anyone as the home office number is a cell phone. I have reached out to multiple ppl associated with them and can not get any kind of a call back. I do not recommend this company to anyone

They damaged my irrigation line with a mower and refuse to make the repair and are rude about it. They are the landscaper for our HOA so I have no choice.

They are great at mowing but TERRIBLE at fertilizing... Last round of fertilization left hundreds, if not thousands of fertilizer granules in our pool that has stained our pebbletech lining. Looks awful. No care or attention to detail was given while spreading the granules - AT ALL!. Totally UNSAT and UNHAPPY. I have photos if you would like too see what they did to our pool.

EDIT to post: They did reimburse our pool company to repair the damage from fertilizing 3 months ago. They did the right thing. I still won't let them fertilize my back yard (in the future)...

I had a major drainage problem on my property in a community that Woodlake Outdoor services. They were installing a French Drain behind my house on HOA land and Steve actually came on my property to ensure my drains which had been plugged were working flawlessly. In addition he made sure their connection to the FD system was engineered correctly to ensure everything worked as designed. I am extremely grateful to Steve and Woodlake for responding so quickly to my concerns and for working with me to remedy the problems on my property. This was beyond their normal mandate for service. I am very impressed with their professionalism and courtesy to say nothing about their willingness to go the extra mile for customers.

They definitely can't drive, hanging out in the middle of an intersection took them 10 minutes to pull into QT and keep anyone else from making turns or going straight through intersection. For what a monster energy drink! Emergency would be understandable, but to block traffic like that for a freaking energy drink.

We are residents of Canyon Falls for the past 4 years. In those 4 years, the irrigation in the easement behind our home has operated maybe 3 or 4 times. It took over 2 years for Woodlake to remove a 20' piece of pvc that was on the outside of the screen wall that borders our home. the reason that it had to be dug out (was because they waited so long that it had became buried under 10" of silt because they never graded the land,. Additionally there are 1 -2 more sprinkler heads are buried which is why the grass is dead in the photos. they actually sent someone named brad or brian i think, who basically blew me off, which diefinitely did not represent Woodlake well. hopefully the link below will open

link didn't open, but photos attached. In one you can see the significant drop off along the wall where the sod was laid over the silt instead of properly grading it. I also had to uncover the pvc from underground so that these guys could dig it out.

Best landscape architect in the business

Clayton and his team at Blount Designs are extremely talented. There is not a better Landscape Architect in DFW.

Ultimately created a nice design and a reasonable end result in our backyard, but were very late on their timeline and did not respond well to criticism. It took a lot to get them to fix some poor quality work they had initially done and they are quite rude to the customer. We fired them after doing our backyard and will chose to find someone else for our front yard.

Have used Blount Designs for years and can not speak highly enough about their service. Great turnaround, pricing, customer service and beautiful, creative designs.

Blount Designs is a talented landscape design company, and a great resource for the home design and construction industry in Texas. They go above and beyond for their clients. As an architect I truly enjoy their collaboration!

We had high hopes when we started working with this company — the initial communication was detailed and collaborative. They shared design drafts, addressed feedback, and even the owner was added to the email chain.
However, despite multiple follow-ups, we never received the promised updated screening concept or preliminary pricing.
It’s incredibly frustrating to have invested time and money (1.5k) only to be left with an unfinished project and no communication. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company — the lack of follow-through and accountability was deeply unprofessional.

We used Blount Designer to do the landscaping and site plan for our new construction build. It was a complicated design and Blount did an excellent job of bringing our vision to life. The communication was excellent in spite of the fact that I was out of state for much of the time. One of my neighbors described our landscape as “absolute perfection” and we couldn’t agree more. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
