Revived my weed infested yard after two other nationally known companies absolutely destroyed the grass with chemicals but left the weeds. Village Green came in and within 6 months the yard was making a huge turn around and after a full year it was beautifully green, weed free and healthy. Village Green has always been super responsive with 24hr or less turn around on questions and review of yard issues. Their service is first class and I fully recommend them for all your yard needs.

I spoke with Ken last fall about our St. Augustine grass. We gave Tru-Green a try for 2019 and were not satisfied with the condition of the grass throughout the year. Our lawn has looked great in 2020 after Ken's team has been servicing it and we've renewed for 2021 and added services for pest and disease treatment.

One of the most important things to me was having someone to talk to about my yard concerns. A national brand with a call center wasn't adequate for me. When I called Village Green for the first time I had Ken, the owner, on the phone for I think 30 minutes. He took the time to explain the basics of caring for St. Augustine and the treatments they would do and what to expect.

I don't leave many reviews, but I think Ken's business is one of the few that are worth the time and effort. Very happy with him and his team. They are great people.

Long story short, my husband and I bought our first home and our yard was SO green and thriving …. with weeds. We did not know that at the time but we took some photos and shared with Ken at Village Green. He explained the different types of weeds and said we hardly had any real grass. He explained what he and his team would be able to accomplish and how they would accomplish it. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell Ken is very passionate about what he does. We signed up for the Fertilization & Weed Control + Insect Protection plan with the Village Green team and could not be any happier with their service.

What we especially love is that they are a small team so it is almost always the same team member (Hi, Orlando!) coming out for the services. We like this because we feel the service application is consistent.

Another thing that we really like are the reports that get sent to us after every service. The report shows who serviced the lawn, the time, temperature and wind speed during the service, what was done, what was observed and some recommendations. The reports also include a short bio of the team member who performed the service so we felt it was a nice touch.

Ken also sends out newsletters and posts YouTube videos which we have found to be helpful.

Overall, my husband and I are very pleased with the Village Green team. If you are looking for a great team to care for your lawn, give Ken a call. You will not regret it.

Village Green did an Outstanding job for me recently. I needed to have all of my landscaping beds worked on. They removed some dead shrubs and added some new plants that Hannah had recommended and added dirt and mulch so the levels were appropriate in all of the beds. The crew did a great job. I have used Village green for all of my yard work for many years and they are the best by far. I highly recommend them.

I absolutely LOVE Village Green! We started using them a little over a year ago to treat weeds in both our front and back yards. When they began treating our yards, our yards were mostly just weeds. In just around a year, we have the best-looking yards in the neighborhood. Our bermuda grass is so green and lush. We get compliments on it all the time. Would HIGHLY recommend Village Green to anyone wanting to get the lawn of their dreams. Also, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and courteous when they are out to treat the yard and office staff is always friendly and helpful when I call with questions. So nice not to have to worry about when my fertilizer should go down. After re sodding our lawn twice, we knew we needed a pro to keep our lawn in check. So far, it’s a good value for our investment. People are always very professional and friendly.

So we decided to go with this company. Ken was very convincing and polite on the phone when I scheduled everything, but when the technicians showed up for service thinking he wasn't watched, he only did a minimal portion of my yard, when I called him out, he went back and corrected it. I sent the video of what he had done to the owner, and I was told that the technician gave a different story, even though everything I have is on video and the owner decided to cancel my service opposed to retraining his technician. So if you're hiring this company, you better have cameras going because I sure don't recommend what they do when you're not watching.

I’ve tried 4 Lawn Care companies during the past 30-35 years. Two of them were very familiar companies (I won’t name them). None of them compare in results, and in communication, to Village Green.

I heartedly recommend this company because they go beyond all measures to help you out. I had just finished having my ornamental shrubs fertilized and the day after my landscaper dug up the dirt around the camellia bushes to adjust the drip system. Ken very generously arranged for another feeding of these shrubs and I was so appreciative that he arranged this for me. My yard looks amazing and I give all the credit to Village Green.

I began using Village Green for fertilizer and weed control several years ago after multiple unsatisfactory experiences with other providers of similar services. I can only say Village Green is in a class by itself. I have been totally satisfied with the services they provide for many years. They are not the cheapest, but they are the best. Their dependability, service level, and results far exceed that of other providers and I would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone seeking a top quality lawn maintenance provider.

Village green was excellent to work with. During the freeze this winter, we lost a decent amount of bushes in our front landscaping. Ken came out, had specific plants in mind to put back, and wrote up a proposal with pictures of the plants. They also built a border wall the entire length of the landscaped area. Andres and his team they subcontract to do the wall did an excellent job and made it look exactly as we expected. Their work was efficient and seems to be very high quality. Then, Hannah with Village Green continued with the exceeded expectations by fully listening to us on what we wanted, moved plants and borders around as desired, and managed everyone in an efficient manner to get the job done. The whole crew definitely went above and beyond. Throughout the entire process, the whole team was very easy to talk to and we were easily able to communicate our exact vision. They executed it perfectly. My only complaint was they couldn't start earlier! Understandable, though, as everyone in the metroplex was trying to landscape at the same time. Ultimately, great work and I was very pleased with the outcome.

Village Green has been fertilizing and maintaining our lawn for several years and it has never looked better! So, when it came time to do some landscaping we didn't hesitate to call Ken. We had 23 10 to 15 foot Red Tip Photinas die from disease. They needed to be cut down and the roots removed. If that wasn't a big enough job, the crew had to do this on a 4 foot terrace. Hannah and her crew did a fantastic job! They tilled, amended and treated the soil then installed new tress and bushes. Hannah engineered the irrigation system to water properly. Everything was cleaned up and no mess was left behind. Ken and Hannah presented their plant ideas and also considered some of ours. The end result is really beautiful! We had a problem with 60mph winds the week after planting. Hannah came out the next day and set everything right! We highly recommend Village Green. Hannah was more than great to work with.
