I had previously left a negative review, but they remedied the situation. I hope it was a learning experience to improve customer experience in the future. System seems to work fine.

I was supposed to receive a 1k credit for signing up. That was a LIE, I have spoken to the sales representative Hunter Cole repeatedly and his supervisor and customer service. I get the run around promising the issue would be resolved. Or I'm ignored and get no response from the supervisor or customer service. I will not recommend this lying company to anyone.

Great communication and quality install. They check to make sure the work is done well. Really enjoyed the process. Highly recommend MyRoof for Solar install.

Was very well please with my Roof Solar. Spoke with team leader in the beginning and after the installation. Kept me informed on the install and completed a walk through at the end.

Terrible communication, months waiting for project completion and months of problems. Paying for the solar for 9 months only actually worked properly for 1 month, company doesn’t offer compensation. Paying for panels on our fixed income and no solar service provided!

Absolutely garbage company. I have been ignored and blowoff with the install over 6 times. Every time they say they are coming they always come up with an excuse. Now my system is still not active after 3 months and I have to pay both the electric bill and the solar bill. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They are thieves and take your money but don’t install your system. They never return calls and don’t value their customers.

My Roof Solar was quick and efficient with my install. Another company seemed too scammy but here they made me feel comfortable. I do recommend them for sure.

My solar install was so easy.. at least for me.. the installers were so pleasant.. and efficient, and the men connecting the electrical.. Wow! First I was so amazed how knowledgeable they were.. and handled their job in such a businesslike manner.

I was sold on a lot of things including the fact that the install would be quick and I would get to see savings for the first 3 months before paying. It has been two months and my system is still not set up. And I’m not even sure if it will be before I start paying. I was apparently lied to on what I was sold and no sort of discount or repayment has been offered based on that. I’m still not sure on when my system will actually be functional.

Edit: Alejandro (Alex) Carrillo would be my name in the system. And a “final inspection was last week and i was told that was it and it should be done. Now i got a text saying they are coming by for final inspection today.

Also emailing customer services gets no responses that I see.

I had a great experience working with Mike to install solar panels on my home. He was very attentive and communicated the steps of the process very well for a nice price! I plan to recommend him to my friends and family. Thanks Roof solar!

I recently got solar panels from my My Roof solar and was very pleased with the installation. Carlos R. did a great job explaining how everything works and was very helpful in assisting me to find the right energy provider. I was promised a refund for 1st year of payment as a check right after installation. The communication has been spotty through out the process but I was able to get it up and running. Now 2 months passed, I was able to hear back 2 times from Enrique who promised to look into the refund. No updates. And now they went totally un-reachable. Email/phone/cell -- nothing. Frustrated thinking about I am having to beg for my money (I would not have done this without the refund -- economics just not work). And about if things go wrong in the future and with this kind of communication, I will be probably on my own. Be careful when you decide to use them.

Edit: changed to 4 star because the actual installer of the system did a good job. System has been running well at promised efficiency for half a year. The pain which you should be aware of is with the salesperson which turned out to be just a middle-man/lead collector and not working for MyRoofSolar. Sales promised me $3000 refund which never happened. Be clear and get everything down in the contract before you sign. Other than that, MyRoofSolar gave me a decent system.

I agree with some other reviewers. Do your homework before signing with these guys. We decided to sign a contract with my roof solar, and it was the worst mistake I’ve ever made. We were told That the solar power the panels produced would be bought back from us at a 1/1 ratio and that was false. I was promised they would always be around to answer questions, and that too was a lie! I don’t have the amount of solar panels that my contract stated we would receive. I’ve tired calling them on several occasions with no returned phone calls from the owner.
When it came time to claim the federal tax credit for installing solar panels I was giving two final invoices for two separate amounts.
Furthermore, the system does not perform as promised. We were promised little to no electric bill from our utility provider once it was installed and producing solar power, that was just another lie. This was confirmed by checking the production of the solar panels on the solar edge system they installed.

Please be weary of My Roof Solar

Do not use My Roof solar! They lie about everything and are calling you all the time until you sign up and then you hear nothing. You can’t get in touch with anyone and if you do all they say is “ i’m sorry you feel that way.” Sales reps, promise one thing, and then Company does not back them up. Two of our sales reps were fired and the other, Hunter Cole, Refuses to get in touch with us and take care of us as he promised. . Just keeps giving us the runaround. If anyone knows of a class action lawsuit against them, I would be very interested. I gave them one star review because I couldn’t figure out how to do zero stars. The insulation looks like garbage on our roof too. They didn’t even come and clean up the solar rails that are sticking out past the solar panels. We had seven families for references, and when I told them that they didn’t even care that they had lost that potential business.

They installed your solar planes and are still waiting on inspection. They left a mess in our yard when they were done. Along with switching project managers while waiting on inspection l. I had to reach out and figure out about the switch. When I talked to them, their installers had labeled the project completed, so I had to send proof it wasn't. As of time of this review, I haven't heard anything about the inspection being set up.

Terrible experience so far. My panels have been on my roof for 4 months. Panels have not generated one kw of power. I have called and called and called. No one in a position of management has reached out. I called the service department, left 4 messages, and no one has called me back. The part we need has been picked up but no one will get the service person to come swap it out. So far this has been a terrible experience with no end in sight.

After speaking with Patrick Hausman, from My Roof Solar, who provided excellent customer service, vast knowledge of solar, attention to detail, and answers to all of my solar questions I recently decided to get solar panels installed! He has done a phenomenal job in making the process go smoothly and is always a call/text away. If the installation process goes half as smoothly as the sales and information gathering process did I will be an ecstatic customer. I can not recommend Patrick and My Roof Solar highly enough and will be referring all friends & family with roofing/solar needs to them!

The sales team did an incredible job explaining the process of how solar panels work and how beneficial it is to me and the environment. I'm very impressed!
