Update 2 years later: System is still going strong. One complaint I have is that it's nearly impossible to get batteries added after the initial install. Have yet to find a solution.

This Sunstra solar company is amazing. Before starting a house rooftop ongrid solar project in Allen city, Texas I had a lots of meetings with different solar companies. Ali has been the most professional and knowlegable. I got the most realistic design of the solar system with best price and major hardware components such as the solar panels, rooftop layout and micro inverters. From moment of contract signing all major project's milestones have been executed in expected time frames. Whole project has been completed in less than 1 month. None of other solar companies in Allen city area were able to provide such short time frame for getting all required permits , designing, and installing the system in such short period of time with excellent quality and best price.The system now is live, works as designed and produces electrical power to whole our home.
I very satisfied with this solar project and strongly recommend this Sunstra company for any homeowner looking for installation whole house rooftop solar system.

I have always been very skeptic of installing solar panels mainly due to cost and also lack of understanding of all the details. The cost issue was mainly driven by the fact we used to be able to secure very competitive electricity rates which made the payback for any solar system very bad, talk 7 to 20 yrs which didn’t make any sense.

Things changed over the summer. Electricity prices have gone so high to the point where payback is now making a lot of sense.

We pulled the trigger few months ago and installed a solar system for our home. We spent a lot of time analyzing the data and the pros and cons associated with having the system from a cost standpoint, as well as the long-term impact in terms of home value down the line.

What made the process extremely easy is having, in our opinion, one of the best if not the best solar company here in DFW, Sunstra. We spent a lot of time with Mr. Ali who walked us through the process from A to Z. He was straight forward regarding what to expect. We actually talked to him few years ago and he checked our electricity bills and advised us against installing solar panels as it didn't make sense financially. Of course, if you are “green” energy fanatic and cost is not your number one priority, solar will always make sense regardless of cost.

Sunstra exceeded our expectation when it comes to installing the system and the cost we ended up paying as compared to other companies. They kept us updated on the progress and even went above and beyond what we initially agreed on when it comes to the type of panels. The ones we initially signed up for were in a backorder and would've taken few months to arrive. Sunstra ended up providing us with even better panels for the same cost. The system was installed on time and flawlessly.

With Sunstra, we were at ease throughout the process. Now we are enjoying way much lower monthly bills.

From the first time I spoke with Sunstra Solar all the way up to the installation everything thats been done to my home has been AMAZING! The people, the knowledge and quality of work thats been done is all top shelf! If you are looking to go green save money and the earth these are the people to go with. They even arranged having some extras done on my home including an upgrade to my HVAC and a more efficient water heater and even those people were the best. I am extremely pleased.

I am super happy with my solar system.   Sunstra handled everything.  A week after installation my power went out at 2 am.  The back up battery system kicked on and worked exactly like it should.   I rolled over and went back to sleep.  A couple of days later we had a flash flood warning.  My system notified me and went into max battery charge mode.   My batteries went from 30 to 95 percent in less than an hour.  Ready if I lost power.  The intelligence of the enphase system is unbelievable.  The installation crews were top notch.  High quality materials and the guys were friendly and did a great job cleaning up after the instalation. I received my first electric bill.  Normally 300 to 400.   Just under 50 dollars.  One step closer to electrical independence.

We decided to go solar in December and began gathering information and educating ourselves about how best to do it. The first company representative with whom I spoke was Ali Alzubaidy from Sunstra. We took his plan and proposal and continued gathering information. By March we had with spoken with 14 solar companies and taken their information for study and comparison. We also looked at other sources such as NREL ( See their website. They have a lot of good information available). We felt we had enough information to make a good decision and by that time we were thoroughly tired of comparing projects to determine which was best for us as opposed to which was best for the providers.

Looking at the proposals and disregarding the various bells and whistles accompanying them, We realized the first proposal from Sunstra was the best one for us. Another company said it would match that proposal but I told them we would stay with Sunstra because Ali had given us the best proposal on the first go around.

We have installed 35 panels on our house and 15 panels on our pool house. There was a small delay receiving the panels due to the supply chain. The rest of the installation went smoothly (about a week delay for getting the city inspection) and our panels have been up and generating electricity since the first week of June.

We highly recommend Sunstra. Ali makes the proposals easy to understand and he is very straight forward. He has been easy to contact with questions. I would mention his follow up on problems but we have not had any.

Started with a rep knocking on my door. Told him I was interested in a 2nd powerwall. A week or so later his manager Stephen came out and did a full scope and proposal for my house. We had solar and 1 powerwall but it was not cutting it. I hate paying electric companies. My current electric company was "hosing" me. Stephen was able to determine I needed more panels and 1 more battery wall. Also said he would switch us to Tesla electric which would help a lot with power and credits. Seriously I almost freeze in the winter due to not enough power back up and credits. Our rates have gone thru the roof and those criminal electric companies won't give good solar packsges. This will solve our issues. Suntua has done everything they promised. Stephen stays engaged with his customers. He is high energy, knowledgeable and a great guy. His install crew were friendly and hard working. They have done an awesome job and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Suntria.

Prior to reaching out to Sunstra we contacted two other companies. The information they provided was not 100% transparent. Sunstra was very open in the information and their customer service was grade A+. At any given time I would email or txt with some questions, and their response was always timely and informative. Ali was highly knowledgeable on the systems and what would be a best fit for our needs. Those needs include present and future needs, based on projects such as a pool or additional structure add on. The installation was clean and with no issues. Love the system. Gave peace of mind, especially with such a large purchase. Will highly recommend. We purchased a system with power storage.
