I would avoid hiring Foley to build or renovate your pool at all costs. In my opinion, Foley is a company that cuts corners, does not properly supervise their subcontractors, and will not take ownership of their mistakes. A few of the many examples from our pool renovation with Foley include (see pictures, wish we could post videos to show how bad it really is):

1. They damaged irrigation pipes and then poured the concrete deck over the damaged irrigation resulting in (i) water coming up through the new deck and waterfall stones, (ii) cracked decking and tile coping and (iii) killing several trees and plants behind the pool deck.
2. They backed up their work truck directly into our closed automatic fence gate.
3. The booster pump they installed leaks in two places.
4. The valve into our new filter leaks.
5. They designed the set-up of our new equipment improperly by placing the added booster pump on the same power source as the main pump. This results in the booster pump running 100% of the time (causing a significantly higher electricity bill) and defeats the purpose of installing a more expensive variable speed pump. We were not informed that this would be an issue when the added booster pump and variable speed pump were sold to us in the planning process.

Foley began renovating our pool in March 2023 and finished in May 2023. It is now August 2023 and all the stated issues have happened in that short period of time. We paid the premium of hiring Foley over other pool companies because we believed they would give us a premium experience and product. We've learned they take no pride in their work. I personally would not take that risk and recommend that you consider other pool companies. Foley was an absolute disappointment. Your time and money are too valuable to waste on a company that will not stand behind their product even just three months after completing construction.

After using a couple pool repair and pool consultants, we discovered Foley pools to be most reliable, honest, transparent, competent and competitive priced pool repair and weekly maintenance pool provider. Our Pool consultant Josh answers our concerns and provides honest advice on how to maintain our pool. We have had pool light, algae issues, water features fixed along with a couple pumps and spa heater repaired

We had a wonderful experience with Foley pools! From our first design meeting with Dustin, we knew we wanted to use Foley to create our dream pool. We were so impressed with Dustin’s design and time that he took to really explain all the equipment and materials involved. John was our project manager and was wonderful to work with as well. His attention to detail was top notch and was always available to answer any questions we had. Both Dustin and John had great communication with us from start to finish. I highly recommend Foley pools and couldn’t be happier with how our pool turned out!

Aug 2025: thanks to Foley's for fixing a broken LED light that another pool service company messed up and then walked away from the problem. Edwin, the maintenance manager, came up with a methodical plan and estimate to retrieve the broken light. Best yet. One of their technicians, Marcus was able to retrieve the broken light saving hundreds and preserved the light's existing inset sleeve. Haven, a light technician, was able to run a new light and skillfully worked out a light synchronization problem with all 5 LED lights. Overall, Foleys saved us about $1500 thru careful planning, skillful technicians and determination to do the repair right! They did not walk away from a complex problem, thanks to the whole Foleys Team!

We received an excellent recommendation for Foley Pools from a friend. From our first visit with their expert pool designer, Cole, we were impressed with the attention to detail, the focus on our ideas on the pool design and the impressive showroom where we could spend time to get all the finishes exactly right for our new pool. The final estimate and pool construction schedule was thorough and complete, and once the project started, Foley Pools hit all the agreed milestones. Rarely in the ~3 months of build was there not someone working on site daily to keep the pool project on schedule. Foleys Pool PM, Lance, ensured that every step of the construction was on time and arranged for all the city inspections, which were numerous. The final result was amazing and as beautiful as the pool design concepts on the 3D CAD captured in virtual reality. And after the pool was turned on, Foley's gave us a thorough, onsite "pool school" and 3 months of weekly pool service at no charge as part of the total package. Would not hesitate to use Foley's Pools again for our next pool project.

Our family has been dreaming of a pool for years and when we finally made the decision to do it, Foley Pools was the one! Communicating with Kevin Foley from the beginning about design, financials, timelines, and expectations was seriously seamless and stress free. We were able to access the proposed timeline of what would be happening in our backyard so there was not a question of what the next steps were. The project managers and team of hard workers were polite and easy to communicate with. We were amazed to watch the planning, coordination, labored work from digging to stone design to steel laying to filling up the pool happen in less than the time we expected. We appreciate the companies hard work in building our pool for our family (and soon friends) to enjoy and make memories! Worked Closely with Kevin Foley and team, Foley's team communicates really well to keep you up to date on the latest piece of the build. Team is very considerate and know the business very well. Also would like to say Travis our CM made sure there were no corners cut, he stayed on top of all of the contractors to make sure everything was done correct. I would recommend if you are going to use Foley Pools to try and get him as your CM, he is great to work with.

Our experience with Foley (shout out to Dillon) was exceptional. The pool and spa have been a pure to joy and continue to make us memories. One of the key features for us was that the Foley team was able to remove two columns and install a beam to really open up the view and patio. They were always there to consult and give us the best options to keep stay within budget yet get a great outcome. This being our first time owning a pool, the team at Foley gave us white glove service ensuring we knew how to operate the pool and care for it.

Foley Pools and Dillon are highly recommended for anyone looking to begin their journey in designing, budgeting, and constructing a pool. He was very helpful on designing by making recommendations on any aspect on the design that we may not have been thinking about, but its not forceful or pushy with sales at all. We had an amazing project manager on the job and Dillon stayed very proactive the whole process as well to make sure it was done correctly and on time and making himself available anytime even on weekends or late evenings. We absolutely love our pool and really were pleased with how smoothly the whole process went with little to no hiccups.

Foley worked some serious magic with our pool and covered patio. Along with my pool comes maintenance and Nick from Foley Pools has been keeping our pool looking great.

Dillon promised he would work harder than anybody to get this project done and make sure we were happy with it. He came through with what he promised. This was a big construction project for us and Dillon filled in the gaps when needed and made sure we were kept informed on the progress. Pool turned out amazing and we are thrilled to have our backyard oasis.

I don't have a positive experience with this company. I only needed a technician to come and tune my newly replaced actuator. They've sent an inexperienced kid who couldn't figure it out. Instead of opening up and adjusting the actuator (which is 15 minute work for a certified technician) he blamed the heater. He unscrewed the cover, found a "faulty" sensor and declared that it requires replacement. I had no choice but to agree to their pre-invoice for over $300 - only later I found out that the regular price for those sensors typically doesn't exceed $30. The kid replaced the sensor, but of course that didn't fix the issue. He then said that we "have too old of a heater" (which is barely 10 years old unit) and we need to replace the manifold (which he approximated would cost me ~$1200), or for the best results, I should really consider replacing the whole unit (over $5000).

I have to give it to them, after I called and explained that I still have a broken pool, they've sent an experienced technician, it took him no longer than 20 minutes to tune the actuator - turn some knobs, calibrate some settings. He left, and a week later my secondary pump just died. I don't know why, and for what exact reason, but I still ended up with a much broken pool and an invoice for ~$500. I feel scammed.

I researched 8 pool companies and decided to use Foley Pools. I’m pretty picky, but Aaron and Josh were awesome and always communicated promptly! The crews worked fast and neat. Our pool was 20 years old and had never been renovated. They removed the diving board, added a tanning ledge, rebuilt the spa spillover, added steps to either side of hot tub, replaced cracked retaining walls, new tile, coping and plaster and a new decking area near tanning ledge. It was a big job, but we had an awesome experience, even when construction projects can be challenging for a neat freak like me. It turned out beautiful! Highly recommend them for your next pool renovation project.

Our experience with Foley from the start to the finish was far beyond our expectations! From day one and throughout the entire build, Dillon was very responsive and not pushy with our timeframe or budget, while also being appreciative of our business. He was very fast and skilled at making our pool vision come to life using his software program and also giving us his opinion when asked on choosing between options. Often times he would tell us he would go with a cheaper option than what we had asked about, because he honestly felt it was best for what we needed… I appreciated that a ton and he built immediate trust with us.

Blake was our project manager and he picked up right where Dillon left off with making Dillon’s rendering become reality. He never once left me hanging with a phone call or text message and gave us daily updates on what was happening. The project went from start to finish without even a hiccup and Blake would catch the few very small issues way before I did and make sure I knew the plan to fix them. Blake was also genuinely excited through the project too and never made us feel like we were just “another client”. Our project is coming to a close now and we have been blown away at how much the actual thing looks like our original renderings.

Finally, we had our pool school with Shawn and my wife and I were amazed at how detailed he was while also being patient with us to answer all questions we had. He walked us through the pool pump, chemicals, servicing, etc and we feel very comfortable with how everything works on our pool and hot tub

I could not recommend Foley enough to those looking to build a dream pool!

Had to update my review to reflect the poor service post build. They are impossible to get any response from for any fixes, no matter how minor. They push you off continuously and then just ghost you. Guess when the checks stop rolling in so does the customer service. Can’t actually recommend a company that doesn’t stand behind their product and their word.

Just completed my pool build with Foley Pools and I love how everything turned out. Kevin was great to work with on the design and materials selection. We came up with a design that incorporated everything I wanted, within my budget, and finished the build on schedule without any surprises or surprise costs-which was really important to me. Blake was on-site at every stage of construction and walked me through what to expect, and worked with me on a few last minute changes I wanted. As a first time pool builder (and pool owner) they took the time to answer my questions (I had a lot) and quickly addressed any concerns I had. Overall it was a very efficient and stress free process.

Go with Foley for a great pool and terrific service. We chose Foley after talking with some other pool companies (Gold Medal, for one) and comparing construction quality, design process, and budget.

Dillon did a terrific job with design and budget via great Q&A and excellent listening, idea gen, and skillful/fast iterative 3D image renderings--it was easy to run lots of on-the-fly "what ifs"--and those made a big difference in the final design. Great job too working with us on material selections and ways to make trade-offs to stay within budget.

Blake expertly oversaw the project, keeping it on time, on budget, and right on exact specs. Both Dillon and Blake were friendly, highly collaborative, flexible, and a pleasure to work with. Randy and his crew produced some great masonry work for us as well. We can highly recommend Foley for a terrific pool build experience.

Foley Pools made our backyard dreams a reality. From the responsiveness to our very first inquiry, to the completion of punch list items at the end of the project, we have felt a sense of pride from Foley Pools. This is not to say there were not issues, but there is going to be some type of adversity on any project of this magnitude and Dillon has continued to stay in our corner to make sure we have been able to overcome any obstacles. We are loving our backyard oasis and will continue to love it for years to come.

Foley pools built us a wonderful pool, spa and pergola for our backyard. We dealt with Dillon Foley from start to finish who was extremely professional throughout the whole process. Our project manager was Blake Hayward who was also professional, on point and responsive from start to finish.

From day one (the dig) to completion took only 10 weeks, and we are very happy with the finished project.

Sure there were a few weather delays, but no labor problems. We were (are) super happy with the quality of work. The communications, and the education were greatly appreciated.

We recently received warranty service from Foley Pools for a valve actuator and a couple of pool lights. The service technician, Haven, came out the very next day. Haven did an outstanding job. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. Foley service in general and Haven, in particular, provided exceptional service. Parts and labor were fully covered under the 3 year warranty. Foley Pools handled everything, didn't have to go through the manufacturer. I highly recommend Foley Pools and Haven for your service needs.
