Wayne answered my call in the morning and was able to come out that same morning to check on a malfunctioning dryer. He troubleshooted it and low & behold a critter of the night had crawled up into the vent hose unfortunately. Wayne had handled the passed critter with care to be set up for animal control to come and pick up. He charged me minimally and so tipping is definitely encouraged for this brave man. Dryer is working great now.

I want to say my big Thanks to Wayne. I called him on Saturday for my fridge not powering on after a power outage. Wayne called me back on Saturday evening with his busy schedules, made a special trip on Sunday morning to come help us, with clear communication on his arrival time. He did diagnosis quickly and found the problem. I really appreciate his help on weekend. He is very professional, courteous, punctual, knowledgeable. I will sure ask his help again for any appliance problems in the future.

I had a leak with my ice maker and made an appointment with them with a 2 hour window on a Saturday afternoon. They said they would call within 30 minutes of coming, which Wayne did. He arrived promptly and assessed the problem quickly. He did not have the specific part for my ice maker brand and asked if he could get it at his first opportunity and we set a time for a return visit. (I get the fact that they can’t have every part for every brand of appliance they service. I have dental practice and I have to have the emergency patient in a first time to assess the problem, check meds, etc, and appoint for a time to complete the job completely and safely).

Here’s the kicker. During our visit he looked at the refrigerator, dishwasher and dryer and pulled out “filtrate” junk from all of them. If my arteries are in that kind of shape this will probably be my last review, so I wanted to get this out as quickly as I can.

I was very impressed with my first appointment with On-Time Appliance. I have already put them in my contact list on my phone for future needs, and I would readily recommend them at any time, to any body.

I was shocked at how reasonable Wayne's price was. I have a Breezaire $1600 wine unit and feared a major repair. Wayne opened it and said he'd never seen but the fan blades had come off the shaft. He glued them back and charged me $100 WOW !

BEWARE, TRIP CHARGE KING! I came across Wayne and On-Time Appliance while I was working on a home for a client. He appeared knowledgeable, and the client I was working for is a close friend. I figured if he trusts him, then I'd give him a shot.

My fridge temp was dropping below freezing on a consistent basis. I called Wayne and we made an appointment for him to come out and fix the appliance. He arrived with a co-worker and they defrosted a part that connects to the freezer.

Wayne told me to give it a few hours or day and if the condition continues, he would apply the trip charge of $60 to the repair. Not even 3 hours later, the temp dropped below freezing and he hadn't reconnected the light inside the fridge.

He claims he went by the "part house" and had to order the part, which would take 3-5 days to arrive. It's been a month and after multiple phone calls, voicemails and text messages, I don't get a response. Clearly, this guy is all about the quick buck and trip charge. Not actually following up with business.

Poor customer service and terrible follow up on promises. Seems as though that is the theme when a repair actually has to happen after reading the reviews.

Wayne was great! Our dryer stopped producing heat Christmas weekend and would only spin. After waiting a few days for Samsung support with no response I reached out to Wayne and he came the next day. He immediately identified the issue with our dryer and had it working in 20mins. Will definitely recommend and use again.

Had Wayne out to fix the ice maker. He said he needed a part and would return the next day. He came again and worked for a couple hours and we paid him about $400. He said it would take a little while for the machine to cycle and start working again. 48 hours later and not a single cube and the machine actually running hot. Called him and he said he would come over the next afternoon. Cancelled plans to accommodate him because we needed ice. He never showed up, never even called. Then he dodged our calls for a week and never returned multiple voicemails and texts. Finally got him to come again, he said he replaced the wrong part and would fix it but complained about not making any money on the job. He said he would come back the next day with the correct part. We cancelled plans again to accommodate him. AGAIN, no call, no show. Completely stood us up again. Now we are out $400 and still no ice. Irresponsible, unresponsive, not competent.

Wayne came and looked over my refrigerator and said I needed a new compressor. To get the new compressor from LG, he, as a licensed technician, needs to be the one to order it. Long story short, I give LG his information they requested after he said he could and would do it. I let him know the order is there in his email for him to approve. It’s a free part so no hassle or cost to him. He’s only responding via email and giving short, vague answers to my questions/requests. A week later after multiple phone calls and texts, he has not responded to any of my outreach. Go with someone reliable and treats their clients with respect and priority. Wasted a week of life out of a mini-fridge thanks to this clown.

A previous appliance repair company was supposed to repair a leak in my refrigerator and fix the ice maker but neither issue was taken care of.

I called Wayne and he showed up the next day to assess the issues. He was clear and concise and described the issues to me. He identified the leak and issue with my ice maker. Now the refrigerator works like new.

I can't recommend them enough because of their quick and decisive service with great pricing.

Contacted On Time Appliance on a Friday to repair our wine cooler and Wayne was promptly at my hone at 9:30 Monday as promised, calling to confirm prior to arriving.

He diagnosed and repaired the issue we were having and charged a reasonable and fair price.

Wayne was very responsive in phone/text. Was happy to walk us thru the repair on the phone, but we chose to have him come out. He was able to do a same day appt as he was in the area! While doing a dryer repair, he also showed me quick maintenance tips on my washer, dishwasher, fridge and stove! Showed me something I didn’t even know about my own appliance!! 1 yr guarantee on his work! Will call him again if we have something break. Reasonable and fair trip charge and repairs.

This is not the first time we have used Wayne and On-Time Appliance, but it's the first time that I have left a review. Wayne came to our home to evaluate (and fix) our Ice Making machine. He came the same day we called, and was "on time", repaired what needed to be repaired, and did so without suggesting things that may be for another future day.

My wife and I are thankful that we found this self-owned company and individual, and hope that this very positive review of his work and ethic will allow any who are looking to feel confident in choosing and calling On-Time Appliance!

Wayne and his dad have both taken care of our appliance repair needs for the past 10+ years. On-Time Appliance is a family business and Wayne took over the business when his father retired. They have repaired the water dispenser and the ice dispenser on our Whirlpool refrigerator. Recently (May 7, 2024) our Maytag dryer (40 years old) started making noise and leaving stains on the laundry. I purchased the parts from a local parts distributor. They included 2 guides and 2 rollers for the drum, 1 belt tension roller, new belt, new felt strips on the drum. Wayne installed them, did not charge a 'trip' fee and charged a very reasonable price. He told me he could have obtained the parts for less than I paid, so next time I need help, I will ask him to handle the parts. Now our Maytag dryer runs like a new machine!

We needed a beverage refrigerator repaired. Wayne diagnosed what the issue was and fixed it after the replacement part arrived. Wayne was very courteous and professional.

My Scotsman ice maker had issues, so after some research, I chose On-Time Appliance due to the positive reviews and the fact that they are local. I was able to make an appointment pretty quickly, despite the upcoming holiday. Wayne was straightforward, professional, and conscientious. He quickly identified the problem and explained it in a way that I, with no background knowledge about appliances, could easily understand. Most importantly, Wayne told me the exact price of the part and the cost of labor, and that is exactly what I paid. Not a cent more. Finally, he worked efficiently, respecting my time. I highly recommend On-Time Appliance and plan to call them when I need another repair.
