These guys were prompt and friendly, but way overpriced. What I thought would be a $50 charge for 15 minutes of work was actually $116. I would recommend calling and pricing around before going with these guys. You can find good service at better rates elsewhere.

Vernon at Richardson Ready Electric was referred to me by my longtime HVAC service provider (who I trust implicitly). Happy to report RRE appears to be cut from the same cloth: Vernon tried to help me diagnose a breaker box issue over the phone then came out the next day to inspect and provide an estimate. He ran some tests and narrowed it down to a breaker circuit replacement– then showed me how simple it was to replace it. Vernon game me two options: he could replace it at a cost of $100 (or) I could run to Home Depot and do it myself for $10.99. When I offered to pay a trip charge he refused it, saying “This was an estimate and we don’t charge for estimates”. Needless to say, he could have easily quoted the $100 and I would never have questioned it– or known how simple it was to DIY. Vernon and his company are my go-to electricians for life now. PS: Thanks to Joe at Lone Star Comfortaire for recommending him.

The reviews are correct on this place. Do your research and listen to what people are saying. This place is WAAAAY OVERPRICED! I've gotten several estimates for a ceiling fan install and this place is by far the most expensive- shockingly more expensive!!
The estimate they gave me for a ceiling fan install (for an 11 pound ceiling fan) is $524!!!! Yes, $524.00!!!!! Insanity! This isnt even for a wall outlet- it’s going to me remote control only. No thank you.
Check around, compare other prices. You can do better than the ridiculous prices this company charges.

The electrician I hired to replace a ceiling fan showed up on time, which was nice because I’ve had issues with that in the past with other electricians but these guys were great and very easy to work with. I now have their number on speed dial and will hire them again.

Our builder used this company to install two generators, one in Dallas and one in Malakoff. Did not install promptly when the generators were available, took two days to do one of the installations and most importantly, did not even connect the battery cables to the wi-fi antenna so we had no way to use the app to monitor the generator like you are supposed to. When we called to ask for help with wi-fi connectivity, they said that was not part of the job and to call Generac (even thought the wiring was not done correctly). Finally got it connected with 2 hours of time working with the builder while being on line with the Generac company help line. Would not use this company
