Update: They have been attentive and helpful with my system after getting it operating correctly. I had an outage that they promptly scheduled maintenance without me notifying them. I’ll continue to update as time goes on.

Review: They installed my unit in April. They shut it off in May, and it still isn’t running as of October. Apparently my house was not up to code for the power company even though I have had power there for years. They did not communicate why the panels were down. It took me many weeks of calling to be told why. At that point to was summer and 115° and I was unable to find an electrician to do the work. They quoted me $3,000 to fix it themselves, even though they should have fixed it when the unit was installed. I cannot recommend you use this company. Communication is poor and confusing. Please do not use this company.

I am 100% satisfied with my solar system. My metal roof is very high and posed several challenges for the installers. They graciously accepted the challenge and quickly installed the panels, followed by their electrical personnel whom quickly tied into my components and got me on line cutting my electric bill out. They also installed me a generator with the system that works like a charm. Making sure I am never without electricity again. Thanks guys.

I used this company because relatives were happy with them. Once the panels were installed, the company dropped off the map. The panels were installed in August and did not go live until March of the following year, costing me $6,000 in federal funds. From that point on, all calls were ignored. All texts were ignored. When I reached a person, they were the rudest person I have ever spoken with on the phone. When they did answer, they always had an excuse, it was their anniversary or they were at a funeral. I understand that these events are important, and I do not want to intrude, but that does not excuse the years of not responding once he was back in the office. Please take my advice and run as fast and as far as you can from Prime Solar.

I was satisfied with this company until half of my solar panels suddenly stopped working, for no reason at all. I have two sets of panels and one of them works just fine so it does not make sense why the other went down. When I contacted Prime Solar to schedule a repair, I was told that they have ONLY ONE TECHNICIAN in the whole state of Texas and that he was out due to a family matter and there is no ETA on when the scheduling will take place. So now we are in the heat of summer and I am going to be stuck paying hundreds of dollars for a solar loan bill as well as my electric bill. My panels have been down since June 23, I was notified via email which went to spam so I was not aware until I checked the Enlighten app on July 2nd, I called to report the issue and that's when I was referred to Prime Solar. So now, It's been 10 days since I have contacted Prime Solar for an appointment to repair my panels and I have not received any information on when it will be scheduled. I decided to put this review out here not because I am inpatient but because they ONLY HAVE ONE TECHNICIAN to repair the panels of Texans and that is completely unacceptable. So hopefully I will hear something from them this week or I will continue to find every avenue to file a complaint.

Horrible communication, signed a contract with them back in November 2024 for a 10kw system with a backup battery. After multiple excuses I was finally able to get my system installed in January. I was told the backup batteries were in back order and wouldn’t be able to get them in until April. Here we are at the end of July 2025 and the company doesn’t respond back to me. The owner Mustafa has just now ignored all my calls, texts and emails. His last commutation last month stated they received the batteries and only needed to schedule the install and yet still no communication or install done. Horrible company and communication stay away from them. Will now need to look and find legal ways to get them to finish the job they agreed to do.

This company should be out of business by now.

They do not know what they are doing and the system never works.

If you call them to fix the problem, they ignore you.

I had to hire another company to fix their mess and get the system running.

Extremely Dissapointed - Unfulfilled Promises and Poor Communication

I had high hopes when I signed with Prime Solar. The concept amd promises made during the sales process were compelling. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing but disappointing.

My solar panels were installed over five months ago, and I'm still waiting on the batteries that were promised. The energy offset I was assured of has not materialized, and I'm currently sending energy back to the grid without receiving credit, as I cannot make necessary adjustments until the batteries are installed.

What's worse is the lack of customer service. Calls and emails have gone unanswered. I reached out directly to the owner, Mustafa, and am still awaiting a response. If I don't here back soon, I will be forced to shut down the installed system and pursue legal action to dissolve the contract. I've already consulted with a Dallas-based attorney who specializes in solar contract disputes.

This could have been a great experience, but the lack of follow-through and communication has made it incredibly frustrating.

Prime SLR is one of the most deceitful and predatory companies I’ve ever seen.

They straight-up LIED to this family — promised to pay off their first solar contract, acted like they were “here to help,” and then turned around and slammed them with a brand-new contract behind their backs.

Because of their scam tactics, this family ended up with a lien on their home and is now facing foreclosure. Who does that to people? It’s disgusting.

Prime SLR preys on families who trust them, and they don’t care whose life they ruin as long as they get a sale. If this is how they do business, they should be ashamed and investigated.

Avoid this company like the plague. They are predators, not professionals.
