Five Stars for Client's First. They did a nice job with a complete redesign of our front and side beds with a look that was quite an attractive alternative to the plantings that were used when our house was built. As importantly, they stood by their guarantees and replaced all plants and trees that for various reason did not survive. They "stood by their word" and replaced those trees. Additionally, the work Crew headed by Thomas & David are as good as we have had in the 33 years we have lived in Dallas. They were professional, attentive and made sure that we were satisfied with their work. Well done Clients First.

We were very pleased with the work that Clients First did in our front flower bed. Jack Easby was our consultant and, boy does he have great ideas! He was so helpful to us in telling us how to care for our new plants and even our lawn. Very professional young man who seems to know a lot about his subject. We would recommend Jack and Clients First again to anyone! 5 stars!

Zach and his team did a beautiful job landscaping our home! We’ve used them in the past for landscaping around our new pool. We just had them come back to landscape the front of our house and could not be more happy. Zach made excellent recommendations on plants and stone work and it looks amazing!! I love it! The work was completed in the time frame quoted and the crew was so helpful and explained all of the plants and watering needs.

We just completed our second round of backyard projects with Zach and his team at Clients First Landscape Solutions. They are amazing to work with and we couldn't be more pleased with the results! They took our backyard from a plain concrete slab to a gorgeous oasis with landscaping, a crushed granite fire pit area and a gorgeous cedar covered patio. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are impeccable, as is the customer service. We worked closely with the team to achieve exactly the look we wanted and they far exceeded our expectations.

Clients First Landscape installed a retaining wall (with flagstone steps) and a flagstone patio for us. We are very pleased with the end result! Project was completed on time, on budget, with great workmanship and attention to detail. The communication and professionalism from Zach and the team was first-class. Very polite and respectful crew...always took the time to clean-up at the end of each day and consult me for input along the way. Highly recommended!

I would not recommend this company, nor would I ever use them again. Our project was for an outdoor covered arbor and landscaping. It started badly, never recovered, and seemed to get worse as the projects progressed.
On the arbor, they didn’t start when they promised, didn’t finish when they agreed, and kept requesting progress payments when none were warranted as very little progress was being made and not required by the contract. They did not fulfill contractual obligations of a gas firebox, installed a cheaper electric insert instead without consent, a model of which the manufacturer doesn’t recommend for outdoor use, and still expected full payment for the gas model in the contract. Subcontractors were constantly showing up unscheduled, unannounced, and unsupervised, on weekends sometimes, not knowing exactly they were supposed to be doing forcing me to “manage” the project personally. (Overall, we are generally pleased with the result, except for the firebox.)
The landscaping was even more frustrating. Again, no adequate supervision led to multiple corrections having to be made, and it is still wrong. They don’t even honor their inadequate 6-month plant warranty in their contracts. The choices they made for the walks were ill-advised, and the bed preparation was sub-standard at best. We really dislike the result, especially considering the cost incurred.
The entire process was an awful, arduous expensive endeavor that we regret undertaking with Clients First.

Addendum to owner's comments: There is no fire hazard to installing a ventless gas fireplace insert in wood framed outdoor wall. These inserts are installed in dry wall inside houses all the time, especially in bathrooms. with no fire hazard. And your "solution" to this "risk" was to install an electric one not recommended for outdoor use?? You also state your framer and electrician recommended the electric fireplace insert. Who did they recommend it to? Certainly not to me, they just installed it and hoped I wouldn't notice. There was no recommendation or discussion with me at all in advance or afterward. The only reason you installed this was motivated by profit. Your sales rep kept whining about how you weren't going to make any money on this construction, and electric inserts are much less expensive than gas ones that the plans and contract clearly called for. You ran a gas line to fireplace, the plans from the outset called for a wooden wall and gas fireplace insert, that never changed. Why did you just "discover" this potential fire hazard at the end or construction and never discuss it with me? The "discount" we "agreed to" was $1500 on the $3000 in the contract. And I'd still rather have a gas fireplace, an electric one with provide no warmth whatsoever.

Your sales rep did come out and replace one plant when the final check was delivered. Unfortunately, there were several plants that he agreed needed to be replaced under the warranty at this time. I was told the nursery you get your plants from were out of the ones needed and it was implied that they would be replaced later. To this date, they have not been replaced, violating your flimsy warranty.

Update: On 12-14-2023 water from the irrigation system these clowns installed under the concrete they poured began leaking out from under it. They would not respond to calls, texts, or a certified letter to repair it under their warranty. I am suing them in JP court.

I had a great experience getting a thorough design quote from Zachary. I heard from the company very quickly after submitting an inquiry, then Zachary was available to meet me at my earliest convenience. We went back and forth over email quite a bit since our project was a modern build and different from their portfolio of examples. The pricing and timing came back very reasonable. I feel they would have done a great job for us but we ultimately went with another company that had specific experience with modern builds and flat roofs. That said, I would reach out to them again for our next project.

We had our backyard project (Pergola and outdoor living space) done with Clients first landscape solutions last month. I reached out to several companies before I contacted them but no one was as responsive and professional as them. Zach was very helpful all the way from gathering our requirements based on the budget, planning, permitting and execution. The project was managed very well and the crew was excellent (courteous, punctual and great quality of work). Zach was also kind enough to help us with improvisations and changes along the life of the project. Overall, we had a 5 star experience with them and would highly recommend them to anybody looking to undertake any backyard/landscape projects.

We use Client's first at a few of my condo communities, and they have been great since coming online. There has been DRASTIC improvement in the landscaping at both, and Nathan is always willing to help and meet with myself or the board so everyone is on the same page. Thomas is fast at getting proposals out for communities and great at explaining them to the boards if they have questions. Highly Recommend.

Description of work:
I had a firepit built and surrounded by pavers, a stone surround on a natural gas grill installed, 6" cedar posts added to my patio and an old grill removed.

I couldn't be happier with the work and level of service Zach and his team provided. They started on the agreed upon date and the crew arrived early each day to get started. Abel, Tomas, Estaban and the entire crew are very talented. I asked for minor changes and adjustments to the project as it was in progress and the crew had no problem making these changes. They came back at my request when the project were completed to ensure I was 100% satisfied with the functionality of the firepit. I would highly recommend this landscaping company and I look forward to using them again.

We hired Clients First Landscape Solutions to design and install landscaping around our outdoor patio and spa area as well as set stones around our front yard planting areas. We love the project landscaping and could not be more satisfied. Johnathan was our main point of contact and worked with us throughout the whole project. He communicated with us during the whole project asking if we saw any issues or concerns and likewise, he came to us when they ran into an unforeseen issue. The field team was great and consciences. Anyway, we absolutely love the stone that Johnathan picked out for our front yard planting beds. The stone compliments our home brick/rock. We also particularly like the plants they put in around our spa. Again, those accent the spa area and create a secluded feel to the spa area. Johnathan did a final project walk through and we identified a few things his crew could fix/improve. This was not an issue and Johnathan certainly cared about the project quality. I do recommend Clients First and will reach out to them for future projects I may have.

I hired Clients First to do an extensive front yard landscaping project on my home after a very bad project mgmt and installation with another very well known landscaping and outdoor design company who does work in the Dallas area. I have to say that Clients First was SUCH a positive experience.

Jonathan was my lead contact. His professionalism, creativity, and knowledge earned my trust in our very first meeting. Jonathan created 3D renderings of my home and yard, using it to build me a high quality mock-up inclusive of not only my front yard, but his recommendations on a future backyard patio/kitchen I want to build. His estimate was detailed, clear, with prices that were competitive. It was an easy decision to go with CF for the work.

When I mentioned, in passing, that my pregnant wife was due in a matter of weeks, he accelerated my project to be installed within 48 hours of signing my contract. I found it incredibly kind. The crew doing the installation were highly professional and competent. The finished project is beautiful.

I began the project to put in a flagstone patio on my own and pretty quickly got in over my head. I called CFLS to come out and give me a quote to finish out the job with the materials that I had purchased. We had a tight timeframe because we were hosting a party and needed it to be done by then.

It became apparent that the materials I had purchased were not sufficient for completing the job. They came up with an alternative solution and knocked it out within our time window. The patio looks better than I imagined and it has been a wonderful addition to our backyard!
