I needed a plug in one of my rooms to be installed and Mr.Sal explained everything to me on what needed to be done.He checked my panels to make sure everything was safe.Now uh days you don't get honesty from people or companies but Sal was very trustworthy and honest which made me and family happy. Firefly electric was great. The lead electrician was super helpful and didn’t waste our time with obnoxious sales tactics and was focused on the job we called them for. The job ended up being more complex than expected (bathroom fans on an older house), but they were willing to work with the challenge and help us get what we needed taken care of. The electricians they sent to do the work were very communicative and spent extra effort making sure things were right. Really happy with the final result.

I wanted to thank you for replacing fixtures in my bathroom. Two chandeliers and two lighted mirrors. You were apologetic of the time frame of the installation of the project. It wasn't your fault that we couldn't get products shipped in that weren't broken. The light fixtures I had you to install were a little complicating and very fragile. We both I thought were patient with each other. I got the spa like bathroom, which I wanted you to help me create, and I am very happy with the job. I will use the company again for lighting projects

We’re absolutely thrilled with Firefly Electric! They’re super professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Mr. Lombardi really took the time to pay attention to every detail. Everything looks neat and tidy. Andrew and Brandon communicated clearly, planned everything out perfectly, and executed it flawlessly. They installed whole-house surge protection and two outlets with four receptacles each in our backyard. We now have a designated outlet (15-20 amps) for our pool pump, and plenty of other outlets for lights, the grill, phone speakers, and anything else we need. We couldn’t have asked for better electricians. They’re our go-to guys for all our electrical needs. I highly recommend them!

Firefly Electric Service, a certified EcoFlow installer, installed my Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra Whole-Home Power System and Smart Home Panel 2 as well as a whole house surge protector. I unhesitatingly endorse their services for EcoFlow devices as well as all other home electrical services. A certified technician will first meet with you to expertly explain how the system works and plan placement of the inverter/battery stacks and Smart Home Panel before providing the estimate. The estimate was competitive compared to natural gas generators. Certified installers were timely and meticulously mapped home circuits that would be supported by the EcoFlow system. They used extreme care installing the subpanel and testing the system before leaving. They cleaned the work site well upon completion, and assisted with initial system setup through the EcoFlow app. The only areas of needed improvements would be to assist the homeowner with downloading and registering on the app prior to installation to speed setup, direct the homeowner to the online EcoFlow user manual and user videos to study before installation, and assist the homeowner with system settings before departure. Well done Firefly!

Firefly Electric Service expertly replaced my power control panels after a lightning strike severely damaged them.
Andrew and Brandon arrived early and immediately went to work and didn't stop until they completed the job -- 4+ hours later. This was the most professional service I've received on my home over the 20+ years here. Salvitore Lombardi (the owner) helped me out greatly when, after months of trying, my home owner's insurance company determined the lightning damage was "normal wear and tear" and refused to honor my decades-long policy.
Sal personally kept in contact and helped me be able to afford a replacement -- eliminating the very large risk of electrical fire from my damaged panels.
Firefly has a very dedicated and honorable owner with excellent electricians.

I now have peace of mind knowing that my house won't burn down due to an electrical fire from the lightning damaged equipment they replaced.

I recently purchased a backup generator and needed an electrician to install a Generator Transfer Switch at the main power panel. I called around and finally located a company that could do the job here in San Antonio (not every company can, or will do this). That company was Firefly Electric Services. They dispatched an electrician to come out and give me an estimate on the installation. The electrician immediately noticed that the main power panel had been hit with what appeared to be a surge from a lightning strike. I confirmed that there had been a lightning strike a year or so earlier that hit the house. During his investigation it was determined that hooking up a backup generator to the current main panel may prove to be unwise, even dangerous. He advised me that the damage should be covered by my homeowners insurance. He took pictures of all the damage to the main & sub panel and wrote up his findings and recommendation for fixing the problem. I submitted his information with a claim to the insurance company and the insurance did cover the damage. Firefly came back out, installed a new main & sub power panel, new ground, new surge protectors on both panels and they also installed the generator transfer switch. (See photos) As a retired Navy vet who worked in and around electrical wiring for over twenty-years, I've got to say that the Firefly Team was one of the best, if not the best team, I have ever seen. They are totally professional, on-time, and very thorough in their work and in explaining their work. Josh, the team lead on the job, showed me all the tricks for operating my brand new, straight out of the box generator. We actually used the generator with extension cords to power my two refrigerators while the house was out of power for the 6 hours it took to finish the job. I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with the finished product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Firefly Electric Services. I want to thank everyone at Firefly for a JOB VERY WELL DONE! Just had an EV charger installed by electricians Andrew and Brandon. They did a great job. The work was prompt and done neatly. I feel my home is safer also because a surge protector was installed after being recommended. Overall it was a pleasant experience from the person answering the phone to the service.

Firefly installed a smart power panel for backup power for my home. The technicians were knowledgeable and very helpful. The work was done in a timely manner and the end product looked good; my only complaint is that some damage was done to my interior wall which Firefly does not cover. To be fair, it is noted in their contract that they are not responsible for damages to structures which I overlooked and I was given a $500 discount on future work. To spend that much money on an installation, one would think any kind of damage caused by the technician would be covered. With that said, I would still recommend Firefly as a reputable electrical company.

Great experience. Sal came over to let us know why our lights were flickering and he was able to tell us right away what was wrong and what needs to be fixed. If we have any issues in the future we will be contacting this company. The owner was informative and confident in his work.

Excellent affordable electric work. Sal really knows his stuff and is trustworthy. I called for 5 things to be done. Based on what I asked, he could have made it a several thousand dollar job but instead he showed me a simple solution to one of my problems which saved me a lot. Scheduling with salvitore was super fast and easy. Other place were costing me way more and I doubt would’ve given the same level of time and care. We just moved into our first house and he made sure to make us feel at ease and walked us through EVERYTHING! He was informative and respectful to my family and I. First impression was calling for my A/C being out after most places were closed around 7pm and spoke to Sal. He was super informative and very friendly to the point that even though I didn't end up using their services for that because I was able to get the builder to take care of it (as per Sal's advice), they were the first to come to mind when I wanted a car charger installed. Andrew came to give me the estimate while looking around and was also super nice and knowledgeable about it all. Andrew and Brandon only took about 2 hours to install it and I haven't had any issues. While I hope I don't have any more electrical needs, if I do, I'll be calling Firefly.
