GTex came out to our home and provided us with an estimate. Immediately Ryan was very professional and answered all of our questions. My husband and I knew this was a good company to work with from the beginning. When the project started, Ryan was always there with his team making sure things were done correctly in that we were pleased. They remodeled our whole home very quickly and it looks beautiful. If we had more to do in our home LOL I would definitely use them again. I will highly recommend them to all my friends and family

your restoration needs. Last summer our family home we love so much caught fire. We reached out to dozens of contractors and ultimately decided to go with GTex to rebuild and restore our home. It was the best decision we could have made because GTex rebuilt our home into something out of our dreams.

Working with Ryan from the very beginning was wonderful. He is professional, courteous and fair. In addition to that, Patricia was there to help us with every little detail and she was a great support. Communication was great and always available when I had a question or a thought I wanted to run by him.

Our home is over 100 years old and full of surprises but GTex never missed a step. Ryan was 100% involved in the entire process to make sure everything is done correctly and to our expectations. I was looking for a contractor for a while but was terrified because you always hear about the horror stories. I came across GTex and took a chance. I’m so glad I did. Ryan took all the worry away. He did my tub to shower conversion as well as remodel my laundry room. I absolutely love them!! Ryan & Patricia were awesome. Ryan communicated with me every step of the way. His crew were very professional, polite but just as important they’re good at what they do. I will have them back to give me my Pinterest pantry. I don't know who is posting those fake reviews but I can tell you I have had two bathrooms completed by Ryan and team and they are excellent! I hope the GTex can get those resolved and removed!

We searched a long time for a contractor that could remodel our primary bathroom and hit a home run with GTex. Basically two weeks from signing the contract our bathroom was completed, on time and before the promised date. We are elated at the new bathroom.

Ryan and Patricia kept us updated daily on the work and Ryan, the owner and GM, came almost everyday to check the work. They met us at the store, walked with us as we picked out materials, guided us with color combinations, and purchased and delivered them to the house, providing receipts for us weekly to reimburse them. GTex did not require money up front as many companies do.

Ivan and Manuel, their team, did an excellent job on the bathroom. They were always on time, worked all day, and always let us know if they had any questions.

GTex General Contracting is a GEM amongst contractors. Their company appeared on all 3 internet searches I made. No other company did that. Ryan and Patricia exhibited integrity, honesty, and professionalism during our recent renovation. Their communication skills are top-notch. I always felt in the loop and highly valued as a customer and a person. We worked remotely with them from another city. Ryan and Patricia handled everything, including contacting and managing other services- garage door tune-up and attic insulation remediation. Truly so impressed with this company. We were looking for general contractors and had gone through several estimates. We met Ryan with GTex and immediately felt comfortable with him. After interviewing four contractors for our kitchen "update", we ended up hiring GTex. From the first meeting through the end of the project, Ryan and Patricia were so professional and polite. We realized early on that the cosmetic updates I had initially envisioned weren't going to provide the results I wanted, so Ryan (thankfully) convinced me that a complete update, including replacing all the cabinets, was the way to go. He assured me it would only add a couple days to the timeline and he kept his promise and delivered a beautiful kitchen at the end of two weeks. His crew was also fantastic. They arrived on time each day and were extremely polite and respectful of our home. Any hiccups along the way were handled quickly. Ryan was in constant communication with me, always checking in to make sure I was happy with everything. At the end of the kitchen renovation they also helped update a powder room that had some water damage and found some mold. Ryan and his team quickly remediated the mold situation and finished the bathroom in only a few days.

We would definitely recommend GTex for any home project, large or small. They are efficient, respectful, hard-working, and fairly priced. We'll be giving them a call this spring to help with our bathroom renovation!

2 years ago , Woody's team transformed the upper garden of the Japanese Tea Garden from Pea Gravel ground cover to a wonderful flagstone patio that has worn well.
The work was started and completed in a timely manner and his crew was very courteous and considerate of other ongoing activities in the garden . Woody's knowledge of historic preservation issues was an invaluable asset.

We purchased a home built in 1912 in McAllen, Texas and began renovations. There are not many homes of this age left in this area and finding material to restore this home is near to impossible. I was in need of quite a bit of long leaf pine flooring, so I took to the internet and found Mr. Wood Chipman. He didn't have the quantity I was looking for, but located it for me. He was extremely accommodating and kept in contact during the whole process. Wish he was located down here!!

We have had a few jobs done by Guy Chipman Construction, and we have not been disappointed. They do great work! Guy is always available when we needed him. The jobs get done correctly and in a timely manner. We will continue to use them for jobs in the future
