Super disappointed! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My grandmother utilized their services in June of 2025, we’re having major issues with what they did, we contacted them regarding the problems and they said they would send someone to check. Days go by and NOTHING. Call them again and they apologize and send someone, identified the problem and they were supposed to come back again on a certain day and time to fix it, once again NO ONE EVER SHOWED! we have called and text them and nothing, no one ever picks the phone up or responds to text. Like at least call or send a text that you’re not going to make it! Grandmother payed A LOT of money, just for them to ghost her.

Edit 10/7: Company did contact us and did sincerely apologize. Since then they have been communicating greatly, have not missed an appointment. I appreciate management taking what I said and fixing it!

I had been shopping around for a pool company to resurface my fiberglass pool. After several calls my last call was to South Texas Pools. The first person I spoke to gave me one quote. A few days later I reached back out to the number of the person I was in contact with and mentioned to the lady that I was interested in moving forward. Upon confirming with her she sent me over another quote. I asked as to why it was $1000.00 more and the lady on the line said that they under estimated my pool size. I did not feel like that was my problem since I was already given a quote. After going back and forth with their sales representative they had for me as my point of contact, I decided to move forward with their services and only because he seemed very polite and professional. I was promised a start date of a Thursday and the their team did not begin until the following Tuesday. My pool was dirty since we did not want to clean it if it was already going to get drained, why would I spend on more chemicals. The crew showed up to my house after 9am and finished the project around 3pm. I was shocked since they mentioned it was a 3-5 day project. When I got home the aftermath was terrible. I immediately sent my sales consultant a message of how bad the job was. As the nice guy he is he said he would take a look at it the next day. He stopped by my house and realized that the job was terrible. The pool was not sanded at all, paint chips were still noticeable (they painted over old paint), all calcium build up was painted over when I was told they would remove it. I had an event that following weekend and needed my pool to be ready. I was told the team would come back and start the process again on Monday, and they did not show up until Thursday. The aftermath the send time was better but brown stains began to appear on the pool again. I have treated the water making sure proper chlorine and PH levels are in range. I appreciate that my sales consultant kept his promise but I do not see myself conducting business with South Texas Pools again. As mentioned, sales consultant was great but the rest of the team failed to keep their promise with pricing and time.

We requested a quote to have the left wall of our waterfall repaired to correct a leak (first photo). The first tech that came out gave said every effort would be made to match the right side of the waterfall. We were told the stone wouldn't match exactly, but the dimensions would be conserved. This was our expectation. On the first day of the job, a second tech proposed the layout seen in photo 2. This looked absurd to us. He proposed 5 steps that did not in any way match the 8 steps on the intact side. We asked if the stones could be cut and 8 steps made instead? He said yes. With no further discussion, he finished the job. He sent me the third picture as he pulled out of my driveway and left. I was very disappointed when I got home and inspected the work. The stones jut out 3 inches further on the left than the right. 3 of the stones are half the thickness of the other stones.

I called the main number to complain. The second tech called me back at the end of the day. When I described my issues to him, he was completely uncompromising, but said someone would come back Monday to do something. On Monday, he came back and argued with me for over 45 minutes. I told him I was unsatisfied with the job, and asked for options to improve it. He said there was none. He said no changes could be made. I tried calling the main number multiple times on numerous days, and I kept getting your voicemail. I only received a call back and after telling them I was going to leave a negative review. The first tech called me back and I had the same conversation with him. I asked what could be done to make it look better. He told me he would talk to someone and promised to call me back the next day to see what could be done. That was over a week ago. No one has called me back.

They did fix the leak, but their communication was nonexistent after they decided the job was done. They didn't care about doing it right. They just did it as fast as they could and without asking for the customer's input.

We had our pool replastered and was very happy with everyone involved. From Sara in the office, to Chris and Blake, the project managers and all the other workers. They were all very nice, cleaned up after their work, answered all questions, and the work was done in the time frame promised. We will definitely use them again for any other pool needs.

Customer service (on the phone) was great! They were able to get me an estimate with just a few pictures! Booking & scheduling was upper easy. They communicated well with reminders and arrival times. The process was upper messy- but they cleaned up when they were done and the pool looks brand new again! I highly recommend!

It’s a shame I can’t remember any of my Pool Cleaners First names, I just have to say every single one of the cleaners that has come to my house deserve their bonus. They have worked over beyond the call of duty and cleaning and being very information. They always answer every last one of my questions and if I need help, they never hesitate Helping me are getting in contact with someone that can I couldn’t ask for a better cleaning service.

Let me start by saying, I’m not typically the type to provide reviews but this experience has earned it. We had recently developed a leak on the piping for one of our pool jets. The delima was this particular section ran under a large section of concrete coated with cool deck with texture flakes and should it have been cut out or removed would have been impossible to match without resurfacing the entire patio. I was told by several companies that it would require excavation and cutting out sections of concrete to access and repair. After some research on trenchless pool pipe repair I ran across South Texas Pool Tile Cleaning. They were very informative and helpful from start to finish and offered detailed updates. The technician contacted me once at the house and walked me through their job scope. Unfortunately once they drained the pool below the deck the ground around the leak was saturated so they decided it best to allow the ground to dry and schedule a return visit a few days later. Upon return the performed the repair without any disturbance to my concrete our surrounding yard. They let the epoxy set then repeated a pressure test to ensure the issue was resolved. Since the repair I’ve received two follow up check ins to ensure we weren’t seeing any more issues. While it was a little costly upfront, it was worth the experience and avoid the excavation involved with the traditional method used to repair this sort of issue. 10/10 recommend. Being one of the first to use this technology and us being located 2+ hours away, they had no issue with providing service to us. The payment process was straightforward and simplistic. Chris offered great sales support and Danny was very professional and communicated his arrival, discovery, scope, and departure. A+

These guys did an amazing job retiling our pool! We couldn't be happier with the process and the results. Wayne came out and talked through several options, met with us at the tile store, patiently helped us choose the best tile within our budget, and stayed in contact throughout the process.
