Looking for a pool service/contractor that over-promises and under-delivers at every opportunity? Blue science is the answer.

Construction work: told work would take 2 weeks, took 3 months. Have to contact manager every few days because you were told somebody was coming out that day, but nobody ever showed up. Then they act like you are inconveniencing them to come do the work you already paid them for. Sub-contractors doing sub-par work are used whenever possible.

Pool service: Decent, but my pool went green multiple times while paying for weekly service. Routinely made up excuses for why this happened, while taking several weeks and calls to managers to get it corrected. Then when you try to cancel service, they literally refuse until you speak with their manager so they can try to talk you out of it.

TLDR: Do not use this company for pool service or construction!

Mikeal has been my tech for about 2 years. He is always on time, he always texts me 5-10 minutes before he gets there, and he always does an awesome job. I've had other pool companies in the past, but this one is by far the best. I never have to worry about my pool, it's just always clean. Fantastic company, especially because of Mikeal.

I had a pool emergency on a hot Saturday when I accidentally broke the pvc pipe going into my cartridge filter. blue science sent out a technician really fast, and they were super professional and honest. the job on my pool pump and filter was done perfectly, even with such short notice. i highly recommend them to anyone who needs pool repair or regular pool cleaning.

after trying a few different pool cleaning companies and not being satisfied, we decided to use blue science for our pool service in san antonio. it has been a wonderful experience, and we have continued with them ever since. the technician is thorough and always reliable. they let us know if anything extra is needed, like chemical adjustments, a new filter, or a basket, and handle everything quickly. i really appreciate having a company that keeps my pool sparkling clean all year. highly recommend!

We are very happy with Blue Science’s excellent pool service and customer support. After switching to their maintenance services, our pool pump needed to be replaced. The technician worked with us to get it fixed quickly and at a fair price. The maintenance and repair workers have all been thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. We’re glad we made the change.

Incredibly disappointing experience with them over the last half of a year. They broke the lid of the pool basket. No response. Tons of algae growth. No response. Constant text messages where field superintendent never replied. Service is not performed up to anyone’s expectation who is paying 200+ dollars a month for service. Reached out multiple times and never got any qualified response. Really disappointed in this company for not doing the right thing. Homeowner beware.

Our blue science representative Mikeal Fabersmith is amazing. We have a lot of dwarf grasses in the beds around our pool so we tend to get a fair amount of it in the water. Mike always text us when he’s on his way and when he is leaving. Once he’s been bye the grass is gone from the pool and it looks amazing. FIVE STARS FOR OUR POOL CLEANER ADRIAN.... ONE STAR FOR HQ.....Adrian, new guy cleaned our pool above standard in the rain. We are not happy with the business side of the house but Adrian convienced us to stay as customers.

The business has a habit of changing your cleaning days based on how many of those days are in the month. Example. They changed us to Tuesdays... but once there was a month with FIVE mondays they switched us with no warning or asking to change to mondays to make money for an extra week. They have done this several times in the past 2 years. We complained each time and they occasionally gave us a credit... only when we noticed and if we complained.

We have dogs, so in makeing that extra cash for the company and not the actual hard workers like Adrian, it is a liability for their pool cleaners, showing no care for the customers or their hard working pool cleaners.

Obviously their hq does not care. However, Adrian did an excellent job and was so nice! He is a keeper in need of a raise for sure! Today he talked us into staying with the company, not HQ, him. If they change our dates or change our pool cleaner one more time we will definitively finally quit and let everyone know their pool cleaners have the passion, unfortunately their hq do not.

Adrian Rebollar has been servicing our pool for several months now. His performance has been nothing short of outstanding. He has recently been conscientious of removing acorns this fall. Pool is sparkling when he’s done.

We contacted Blue Science to help clean our pool in San Antonio. The person who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. A technician came out soon after to give us an estimate, and then another worker arrived to drain and deep clean our pool. He did a fantastic job—very professional and polite. Even when it got late, he kept working until the pool looked amazing. The technician clearly cares about making pools look their best and also gave us helpful tips to keep our pool clean in the hot Texas weather. From our first call to the finished job, the whole experience was great. They turned our pool from a swamp back into a sparkling spot for the family. We’ll definitely call again if we need any pool service!
