Although my wife worked as the Warranty Manager for another pool company, we selected Keith Zars to design and build our pool for our forever home because of their reputation for quality and great customer service, as well as their use of their own people and custom design of much of their own pool components. In the three years since they built our pool, we couldn't have been happier - their continued customer service and warranty have been superb. We highly recommend Keith Zars and would build with them again.

Mills is our tech from Zars, we have had our pool built by Zars and we have always had our Annual pool warranty. I am currently considering building another pool for another property, but absolutely will not do so with Keith Zars. They cannot even properly fix my hot tub notwithstanding they charge me over 2k a year for a “warranty and have done so for 10 years. They’ve been out, I believe at least 10 times to fix a blown fuse link that shuts down my heater from heating my hot tub. Fired up the hot tub today, they were just here last Monday, heater failed again. Completely ruined a Saturday afternoon football party for me and my guests. If I could give zero stars I would. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

I would highly recommend Keith Zars to build your dream pool. From our first contact with Kent (sales) and then to John our foreman it was professional, friendly & respectful. We love our pool and are so happy to have our outdoor paradise complete.

At first glance, our pool looks beautiful and we were excited about the project — but the experience with Keith Zars Pools hasn’t lived up to expectations. The sales rep was excellent in the beginning, but after that, we never saw him again. The crews who built the pool were skilled, but communication from the construction manager was poor throughout each phase.

Customer service after completion has been the biggest problem. They charge $75 just to come look at the pool, whether they fix anything or not, and scheduling visits has been frustrating and inconsistent. At only a year and a half old, the plaster on the outside of our pool is already cracking — but they refuse to fix it because it isn’t covered under their warranty.

On top of that, they don’t provide pool cleaning service in our area — something that should have been disclosed before purchase. I once called in asking about cleaning options, and was told they’d call me back with the names of reliable services. That never happened. When I finally followed up myself, I was told they didn’t have anyone reliable and couldn’t recommend anybody in our area.

The pool itself is nice, but between the lack of communication, weak warranty coverage, poor follow-through, and customer service frustrations, the overall experience has been far less than what we expected.

Keith Zars has a great warranty and is quick to fix anything that goes wrong. They have the best customer service and everyone is so nice. I am so glad I went with them instead of a smaller company. I love my pool.

My project manager Ron has been amazing when he has the tools he needs to get the job done. Likewise, my designer Chevis Amick was also easy to work with during the design phase and answered all questions in a timely manner. I forgot the name of lady we saw at the design center but she was also excellent!

A word of caution to those considering a pool. Don’t expect the job to be done in less than 5 months. That was my only problem with this process. The company SHOULD have everything lined up prior to breaking ground. They don’t and I won’t speculate why.

I love the service that Keith Zars performs on my pool. They stay current on any issues that may arise with my pool, which is not often; moreover, they are proactive in preventing problems. I appreciate their attention to detail.

Keith Zars Pools built us an amazing pool on a challenging side of a hill. Kent Ely the pool designer, Terry Shake the pool build supervisor, Jorge who did an amazing tile job for our patio, and all the workers that built the pool were professional, friendly, and easy to work with. KZP stands by their build and have a great warranty. I highly recommend them if you're looking to build a custom pool you will love for years to come.
