Gated property and told the owner (son) trucks could not make it through gates. Workers disregarded and rammed through gates anyway, knocking steel posts loose. Then parked massive trucks on top of sprinkler-heads. Broke one head off. Supposedly gave me a "discount" for paying cash but after they left, I found all kinds of cut limbs etc thrown under bushes, or left in piles not easily seen. Found one tree not even done. Called several times for them to return and finish the job. By paying cash, I couldnt prove they even did the job, or cancel check/transaction. Not only did they NOT return, the son stopped answering my calls.

I hired Bill Chalker’s Tree Service for palm tree pruning and skirt removal. Not only did they offer a substantial Active Duty military discount, but they also accommodated my busy schedule by finding time to perform the job within three days of Brandin’s estimate! To put this in perspective, the first available opening was approximately two weeks out from the time of the estimate; however, I was looking to have the job complete within 7 days. While this may not be possible in every circumstance, they were able get me scheduled for service on short notice. Tom and the service team arrived early, and they were able to prune, shuck, and clean up within an hour’s time.

Overall, I would recommend this group to anybody in search of tree care from courteous professionals. From start to finish, Bill Chalker’s Tree Experts provided quality, affordable service in a timely manner.

My small back yard has two big oak trees, crepe myrtles and a mountain laurel that were all growing into each
other. All was pruned back, dead limbs removed and raised the canopy of the trees. I am very pleased with the outcome. The appearance of my yard is open and balanced again. They did an awesome job, all limbs and debris
were removed when finished. I highly recommend you give Brandin a call and help spruce up your trees!!

We interviewed about 5 companies before deciding on these guys. We chose them because they appeared professional and descent people. We have about 50 trees in our yard (Hollywood Park) that had not been trimmed in quite a while. They took about two days, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. They called to follow up and we've had many people comment on how great the yard looks. Reading some of the negative comments, it sounds like they weren't working with the same company I was.

Brandon and the crew did an excellent job on ours trees. He was very knowledgeable about issues related to our trees conditions. Great cleanup after the job. Highly recommend!

They came out when they said they would, exceeded my expectations and cleaned up everything (there was no mess left on my property... besides the trees looking great, I could not even tell that they were here). The trees on our property are what attracted us most when we were deciding on which home to purchase... But we had really failed in keeping up with their maintenance. In the span of several years, the trees and hedges had become embarrassingly unruly. Enter Bill Chalker's Tree Experts. Their quote was very reasonable and we were comforted by their knowledge of the variety of oak trees on our lot. We decided to go with the Chalker team and we're glad we did. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, checked in to make sure we were satisfied with heights of hedges, etc. They brought life back to our yard within 3 hours. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave a trace other than how pretty my trees look. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Professional, very knowledgeable, and cleaned up the worksite beyond their own debris. We had a fungus on our beautiful large Red Oak and Brandon was able to diagnose and recommend a treatment to save the tree.

After the ice storm of 2/23 we had huge tree branches laying all over our front and back yards. I called Brandin, he was in our vicinity and responded immediately. His estimate was more than
fair. When his men showed up they started working and never stopped until they were completely finished, (late in the day) My yards were perfect, my driveway was immaculate. (Thank you to Enrique and his partner.) We have never used any other tree service but Chalker's and never will!

We set an appointment with this company, requested an estimate for tree and bush trimming, also to replace our landscaping. The initial appointment went well and Mr. Chalker provided some plant ideas for our landscaping project via email. We agreed to the plant choices and ask him to proceed. We heard nothing back from this company. Even after emailing again....no response. Very unprofessional. If they were not interested in completing our project, they should have the professional courtesy to inform us. We wasted weeks waiting for a response. With so many choices in Tree/Landscaping contractors, I would definitely avoid Bill Chalker! Best wishes!

Brandin from Bill Chalkers landscaping personally returned as promised to replace plants that did not make it. We appreciated his follow up service, and his fulfillment to our agreement to replace any plants that did not make it.

Well, here we are continuing to be disappointed with this company. Had to replace one tree with a different type and it also died. When they dug up first dead tree; ground had several grubs around root ball and we have never h as d grubs before. Don't know where he gets his plants but seem to be very substandard quality for exorbitant prices charged and paid. They love a new customer when money is coming due. When the Bill's paid, there service vanishes into the wind.

I had a 40 ft "ticking timebomb" located in a really funky spot. With the recent winds picking up, I was worried that this tree would come down any minute. My lawn guy referred me to these guys and Brandin stopped by to give me an estimate. Super cool, knowledgeable and friendly guy, so I felt at ease working with him. He was able to get me a reasonable price, explained in detail what exactly his crew would be doing and was also able to get his crew out to my home within the same day. Day one, his crew pretty much took down my tree in about four hours and they completed the job the next day in under four hours. The whole time they were on my property, they respected my home and they cleaned up. Very happy with the work and would recommend these guys.

I have used Chalker Tree Company since 2017. I live on three acres that are heavily wooded with very large, beautiful live oak trees. Branden and his staff have provided excellent service to keep my trees healthy and majestic! They have always been on time, completed as promised and very trustworthy. I recommend them to you all.

Chalker Tree Company did an excellent job pruning and lifting the canopies on my oak trees. They also removed four trees and ground out the stumps. They were very professional and completed the job on time as promised. I would definitely recommend to my family, friends and neighbors.

This is Brandin Chalker, and I am responding to Wendell Harris. Our company honored our 1 year guarantee on plants that were installed and died. What Wendell Harris failed to mention is that they were not watering the plants correctly during last years drought which lead to cell tissue death. After I personally came over and replaced all that had died, we had a sufficient amount of rain this year. I received a call 2 weeks ago from Wendell Harris and he said everything died including his grass and that we needed to come over and replace everything again for FREE. As a certified arborist, I made sure personally to plant everything correctly so the plants would not die again. Our company fulfilled our agreement and they let the plants and grass die again. I chose not to work for this client again because I believe that they did not listen to my instructions on watering and just wanted me to come back out and plant everything for FREE again. We are a company of integrity but we will not be taken advantage of. So they decided to write this review because they did not get their way.

I had Bill Chalker’s Tree Experts out to my home last month to clean up my oak trees and do some landscaping to my backyard around me pool. I can’t say enough good things about this company. Work ethic, promptness and quality of work was superb! Brandin Chalker gave me a great price and all the work came out great! So very pleased with everything! Thank you so much to the Tree Experts! I will be using them for all my future work around my home!

This was a VERY good experience. The Chaulker family is wonderful. Great job grinding the stump then he helped me plant a tree in it's place. I would certainly recommend them and I will us them again.

Our neighbors hired them to trim their tree. Billy Chalker Tree Care asked us if they can drive their trucks and access the tree from our property as it is closer to the tree. We said yes and they broke our fence during the pruning. We asked them to fix it and when we were given Brandon the owner's number by the workers he hung up on us multiple times.

I will never use another tree trimmer again. This is our third tree trimmer and the level of knowledge that Brandon brings is unmatched. The service is amazing. Everyone is extremely talented and hard working. Our poor trees have suffered so much damage from using companies that were not arborists or knowledgeable of trees. I'm so glad we found this amazing company. Our trees look amazing and are healing now.
