Israel completed a tree removal and backyard clean up for my house. He was very thorough, highly communicative and truly a genuine person. He made sure to do a walk through with me after all the work was complete. Very impressive work and everything was cleaned up very well. My mother in law needed her 40+ years backyard trees trimmed and some taken out. After searching and calling several companies to come out for quotes the only really responsive one was Israel at Healthy Oak Trees, LLC. I told him where we were located, was asked how soon we wanted this done and I said if he was available, the pricing was agreeable, that we’d do it quickly. I sent him a picture of what our job looked like met us later that day. He asked what our wishes and thoughts were, he listened very patiently and then gave us his assessment on what to do if it was his backyard. We had a price/cost in the back of our minds already if we needed to take out all or half of the trees we knew were damaged and not salvageable. His estimate came later that day and though some may have deemed it high it was expected and I felt after our talking and meeting they would do a good job. Well after a 2 day estimated job by Israel, the unbearable hot SA weather that came in 2 days later when they started the job made for a longer than expected finish. All in all, these guys are good at what they do. No money was ever asked for up front until the job was done and the customer is satisfied, even after the heat extended their schedule a few extra days, AND included the first day start of job a next door neighbors during the day birthday party where our tree extended a little too close to the fence line. Israel not wanting to disrupt that too much and advising of the situation and the heat what it was changed gears on his work plan for that first day to accommodate us and them. It’s a family business for these guys, his 2 sons were very nice, well-mannered and hard working. Give then a try, I hope as we found out you’ll appreciate a company that stills knows how to service customers, seemingly honest, reliable and is safety conscience to put the customer first. Secondly, I believe in them so much he’s doing my small townhome backyard yard next, that’s how good they are. I’m hooked!

I recently took over my grandmothers house and the yard needed alot of work ! They were more than happy to provide their services and gave me additional quotes for other services I needed for the yard (taking out trees, moving brush etc) . They were completely understanding of my position on what I could do at the time and were super friendly. I will definitely hire them again !

I contacted this company after the last ice storm. They promptly responded to my concerns and were able to trim the broken limbs and repair our affected tree by bolting it together so it will continue to grow for many years. I will certainly call them for future needs!

The team came out today and did a fantastic job with our live oaks. One is in a pretty challenging place with relationship to the pool. I could not be more impressed with the job they did. They cleaned up everything and I'd recommend them without question.

After a huge storm, I had 2 VERY large limbs hanging on by a thread dangling over my garage. I had no idea how they were going to handle this without doing damage to my garage. These limbs were hundreds of pounds. They did it without hurting a thing! Not only that, but I had tree debris all over my driveway from the storm , and they cleaned all of that as well. Best of the BEST!

I had a consulting appointment with Brandin Chalker this afternoon. He was very informative to the issues the Live Oak was having and provided reasonable explanation of remedies, not only for the tree but for my budget. I really do appreciate the time spent examining the tree and giving options at a later date to move forward with Bill Chalkers Tree Service.

Bill Chalker's Tree Experts were very professional from beginning to end. I was looking for someone to come out and just trim the tree away from my roof and raise the canopy of the tree. Tom from Bill Chalker's came out, listen to what I wanted done and explained to me exactly what he would do and when he could schedule me to get it done. At a very reasonable price! He even gave me a military discount on top of that reasonable price! Where other companies had come out and offered me an inflated price and then tried to justify it by itemizing every little thing they were going to do. They even tried to upsell me on things I did not want done. When Tom and his team showed up they were careful, fast and cleaned up all the debris afterwards. They even came back and used a blower to pick up what they couldn’t get by hand!!! I would highly recommend Bill Chalker’s Tree Experts to anyone looking for an honest, professional and fast tree service.

Had two trees removed (one in the back and one in the front) and the removal of the trees was good but the grinding of the stumps is when things took a turn. The one in the back was done well and we were able to get the hole filled shortly after. The one in the front however was only partially done. We gave them a call to make a second trip to finish the job. They made it back out about a week or so later, and it was still not completely removed. We have tried to call, text, and have left messages to see if they can finish the job, but with little or no communication back. That's the part that I'm most upset about. Now it's been almost 2 months since we started this process with over a month of us calling with a lack of communication from them. I'm upset we now have to have pay another tree company to come out and finish the job. Will update if anything changes, but I fear nothing will.

Brandin is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The staff did a fantastic job pruning, de-mossing and going the extra mile to clean up afterwards. Kudos to Juan, the tree climber!

I needed an evaluation of some trees for possible infestation or infection. Brandon Chalker looked at all my trees and told me what was going on with them. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He gave me some specific recommendations for some of my trees that I could do myself and didn't try to sell me expensive services I didn't need. I would, however, use them in the future for my tree service needs.

NEVER USE this company. They are not sealing oaks as they cut which spreads oak wilt that is taking over our area and killing our majestic oaks. And they are very hostile and saying they do not care.

Brandin clearly understands tree care and how to properly prune and care for trees. We've had them out twice to check on our five live oaks and two ash trees.

I'm very nervous about tree trimmers due to a previous bad experience and they were very polite about my supervising their workers while the work was being done.

This company is a joke!!! I have never experienced such a unprofessional company like this one in my life. They didn't know what they were doing, and I now have a magnolia tree that is a memorial tree for my baby I lost at the age of 18, that is dying!! They brought it in and planted it 2 years ago, plus some rose bushes that should have never been planted in Garden Ridge, with all the deer. The deer ate all my roses, and my yard was a disaster. I paid a lot of $$$$$$ money for the services, and I have nothing to show for it. They didn't even have the decency to call me back to check with me after they were done. They never called me back. I finally was able to get a hold of the brother of the original guy I talked to that did the work. Well, he didn't have a lot of good things to say about his brother. What's that tell you??? Very unprofessional company!!! I can't believe they are still in business. I suggest that before you go with a company for services you need, that you read the reviews and check with several companies before settling on the first one you talk to. They have never made anything right!!
