Andrew with Terrapin was excellent, arrived at the requested time, took the time to listen to the problem. He explained what the issue might be and got right to work. Within an hour the issue was resolved with an explanation of what was wrong and the new setup, quick payment with a credit card and done! I would definitely recommend Terrapin Electric and greatly appreciate Andrews hard work.

Wow! Such great service. We had lights go off and wall plugs not working. Called Terrapin Electricians and got “same day” service. Kevin Loessberg came out to my house-patiently listened to everything that we had tried and then “worked his magic.” He restored our lights, replaced faulty wall plugs in record time (1 hour) and all with a great smile and kind words. Thanks so much! Great job!!

I’ve had a shit show of a situation with Austin Energy pulling my meter due to a broken bypass valve. The replacement part took over 5 months to arrive trying to order it through different contractors, but Efren O. was the only electrician to stay constant and remain a part of the solution for over 6+ months. He was calm, kind and pleasant and stayed till the very end. Terrapin Electric as a company seems to be well run as well with people in communication with each other, they send out reminders and easy payment methods. Within my whole mess I experienced lies and neglect from the other electricians and companies, but definitely not from Terrapin. I would recommend them for sure.

I am so happy that I found Terrapin Electric! Kevin Loessberg recently installed six Philips Hue Resonate Outdoor Smart Wall Lights in my home. And it goes without saying, Kevin did a fantastic job! Very impressed! Not only was he prompt, honest, and very courteous, but he was also extremely professional. Kevin was very upfront with project costs and time. Also, his prices were very fair. Kevin’s work is meticulously planned out and executed to perfection! I have never worked with a contractor who had better communication or pride in his work! Warranty appointment are 30 days out and they use unlicensed subcontractors when doing work outside the city limits. No other issues on my new construction home.

Teach your drivers to drive almost hit us and 2 other cars just to make an exit they missed in morning rush hour traffic . Maybe run some driving records before giving someone a truck with your company logo on it . Just based on the drivers I’d never use or recommend this company to anyone

These guys just left my house. After a few hours of climbing through my attic and climbing on my roof, I’ve got power to my Christmas lights circuit again. Thanks, y’all!

I noticed this company working on a new build in a neighborhood that I was working at, so I stopped to ask a question and was greeted by Jose and Mauricio. These guys are very knowledgeable and were not bothered and helped me even though they didn’t have too. if every company had guys like these working for them you would never, see a bad review. thank you guys

Worst customer service, and worst Security service we have had. The app hardly ever works to set the alarm on, the video recording for the cameras takes a ridiculous time to load. The front door camera will NEVER load fast enough to speak to someone when they ring the doorbell. Definitely do not recommend.

Telling me an exhaust fan switch turning off the light in my utility room is normal and can not be fixed. I have 5 bathrooms with the same setup and no issue. Did not even bother to take the cover off...just, that's normal and nothing can be done. Same guys that connected that switch to my master bathroom. Same guys that says my clothes washer dimming all the lights in my house is normal and nothing they can do. Absolutely amazing. Who knew...every home in the world with a fan and light in the same room has this issue...cuz it is normal and absolutely nothing can be done to fix it.

I have been with JPI for 3 years now. It’s great when you have no issues but I’ve needed to get my whole system serviced due to them not working and when I call to have something setup for them to come out, you can’t do that unless you talk to one very specific person in the entire company. I’ve attempted to reach out that person on several occasions and have been left with just a voicemail. When you tell the receptionist you can’t get a hold of that person, she just say “oh yeah, he is probably busy. Leave a voicemail” by the time I get a call back, now I’m busy and can’t get to the phone. So it’s just playing phone tag all day long. Very inconvenient. It’s not that hard for the receptionist to take down notes and make appointments for the actual workers. I just don’t get it. My cameras and system have not been working now for over six months. But you best believe that payment sure does get drafted same day every month.

JPI performed a hardwire for my outdoor sauna. Victor and Chris did great work. Was very impressed with the time they took to help me set up the lighting, the remote control, etc just the way I wanted it. Highly recommended!

Vodrick came to our home today and quickly identified and fixed our issue with the fuse box. He was professional, on time, and clearly explained what the issue was. JPI Electric has always done good work at our home.
