Very helpful staff, and large selection in the nursery. These guys have helped my family and I with multiple landscaping projects, the most recent was another success. Highly Recommended!

Wonderful customer service!! Great selection of pot and urns. The place to go for color selection and landscape design.
I have used the tree service several times and they have done and exceptional job -
Terrible customer service. The manager, or "acting" manager was extremely rude when I asked her if they had in stock some herbs I was looking for. She even made fun of how I was on the wrong season, and according to her she couldn't understand my accent and had me spelling the names of the herbs, just because I look Hispanic. What an ignorant lady, I was born and raised here! Such an incompetent and racist woman.

Wonderful selection of plants and a very helpful staff. The designers are very skilled and make beautiful landscapes. The plants always look well taken care of. Great place to shop!

Tree service is exceptional -- been using Bay Area Tree for 12 years. Conservative approach, stick with their estimates and do a superb job of clearn-up. Very trustworthy and not one to encourage unnecessary work.

This nursery has the most beautiful plants. The staff is friendly and helpful. I went when they had a butterfly garden expert. They were able to help me create a small garden on my budget.

Great job by this tree trimming service. They worked efficiently as a team trimming and removing all tree debris. First time we ever used them and we will definitely use them again. Five star work!

I use to really enjoy coming here because everything was priced well. That's not the case anymore. I went there today and noticed that practically everything has been priced 40% higher than it was about three weeks ago. If I'm going to over pay I'll go down the road a little ways where the selection is much larger. I won't be back.

Love this place! I can get lost for an hour in here. It’s small but has a big selection of plants and lots of decor. This is a great place to pick up stone or brick if you need it. They also do custom landscaping.

Thank you, Mardel, for creating our gorgeous landscape design! Magdell and his team worked tirelessly for three days bringing your vision to life. I was so impressed! I look forward to working with you guys in the future for maintenance to keep our yard looking beautiful. 😊

We had an enormous dying gum ball tree which was awkwardly placed over our garage with a 22Kw generator directly underneath it. The base of the trunk was at least 4' x 3' and the height was extreme - I'd guess at least 50'. A previous potential contractor quoted a sky-high price and stooped to absolutely abusive calling and texting to get our business. Fortunately Bay Area Tree was highly recommended by a professional arborist and came with an intelligent appreciation of the removal job and an attractive cost estimate. They arrived at the appointed time with a large, well-equipped crew and took care of that enormous tree in a single day with no damage to garage, generator or anything else. They neatly stacked a bunch of right sized logs for our outside fireplace, took down that enormous stump to well below ground level and cleaned up entirely after themselves. They even trimmed a couple of live oaks on our front lawn gratis just because hey needed it. I cannot recommend them enough - fabulous contractors!

Had entire front yard torn out and redone. Design process was easy, yet thorough. Very pleased with final product. Would definitely use again/recommend.

The name should read "Bay Area Bate and Switch". Absolutely terrible business practices. Unmarked trees as far as prices allowed for employees to complete a transaction paid in full, only to receive a call the day before delivery/installation to be told that the tree was undersold and either need to pay higher price or refund. When held to the contract, after taking a vacation day for the installation and being assured that the tree would be planted that day, at the end of the day the owner Larry called to berate me personally accuse me of wrong doing and advise that they would not be there but would at some point in the following week however he could not say when.
They are total scam. The salesman who sold the tree told me that he made a mistake. The lady who called admitted that the salesman made a mistake. The salesman told me that he told the owner it was completely his fault. I did nothing wrong except to expect them to carry out the contract as I had done my part by paying in full in advance and agreed to a no warranty contract on the tree. After the non delivery and the accusatory call from the owner it became clear that if they actually ever did install the tree there was a high likelihood that the owner would sabotage the tree causing it to die. i was paying $500 which I cannot not afford to risk after witnessing his behavior. i highly recommend that buyer beware at this place. The employees are either incompetent, untrained or have no authority to make/complete transactions and are subject to sabotage by the owner if he is unhappy with their actions and in his mind it is the customer who must pay. I assume he is used to over charging causing him to freak out, act extremely unprofessional and rude. If you do business with them.......good luck. -
Second time in 4 years that we've used Bay Area, this time to not only clean up a live oak and ash but to remove a dying silver leaf maple. As before, the quote was the best in town, the crew arrived exactly when we were advised and they quickly and professionally removed the maple and cleaned up the oak and ash.
Finding reliable tree service folks in the Houston area is challenging and we plan to stick with Bay Area. No need to compete quotes when the value delivered meets or exceeds your expectations. -
NO, NO, NO !! I had the opportunity to observe this organization perform work for several neighbors yesterday. Workers did not follow basic safety protocols and did not tie off. They did not control branch fall and branches fell on items. They did not properly place ladders and roofing materials were damaged. Ladders were not properly tied off. Workers simply hacked at the trees, they clearly did not understand where to cut branches for the health of the trees or to create an attractive end result. THEN they informed me that they were going to climb on my roof and climb in my trees to complete the job. When I asked about proof of insurance, they either could not or would not provide any such information. Based on their workmanship and complete lack of safety compliance I denied them access, but it cost me almost 2 hours of oversight to make sure that they did not climb my trees anyway. If I had not been home at the time I am convinced they would have been on my roof and in my trees without permission. They may be "Bay Area" but "Tree Experts" they clearly are not!! AVOID AT ALL COST!

Really efficient crew. 6 guys came out, trimmed the trees plus some punch list items for me in less than 1 hour. More importantly they moved all my patio furniture and put it back as well as extremely good job on the cleanup of the yard, patio and front drive where they mulched the tree. All for 600.00 less than the next competitive bid.

It may be a small nursery, but they had some great selections! A lot of individual plants and plenty of arrangements too! They also had some succulents that I haven't seen in normal retail stores. Will totally go again!

I have used them a couple of times and they did a great job both times. David knows his stuff and let me know of a tree termite problem I would have never caught. Just be forewarned, they are always booked up so plan ahead as you will be waiting for awhile but you will be glad you used them.

Love this place! Great selection, knowledgeable and friendly people (ask for Barbara!), decent prices, and good service when they delivered and planted the trees. Beautiful and healthy Crepe Myrtles and Bougainvilleas! And a whole lot of other great looking plants. Plus they do landscaping and have a lot of stones, pavers, water features and more!
