We had such a great experience with Star of Texas Plumbing! We hadn’t done any water heater maintenance since we bought the house and it was finally time for a replacement and of course… there have been a few code requirement updates since the original install in 2009. There was excellent communication during the inquiry and scheduling process. Once onsite, the team was extremely thorough and explained everything in detail throughout the entire process. They came up with different options to get us compliant and were budget conscious when providing recommendations. 10/10

Reggie, Jenn, Keith and the team at Star of Texas Plumbing did a great job getting my newly acquired home in Fayettev County back in shape. The house required several plumbing repairs, some upgrades, and the installation of a tankless water heater and some new gas lines. Quite a tall order, but they did a thorough, professional job. And they are super people, always reachable, and available when I needed a few follow-up visits. I am very happy I found Star of Texas Plumbing who are on my favorite services call list.

Fantastic service! I called Star of Texas Plumbing around 3 PM on Monday after breaking my shower stem while trying to fix it myself. Gen answered the phone and said they were booked but could come the next day. I told her I was without water, and she said she’d check with her plumbers. Less than an hour later, Reggie, Keith, and Jessie showed up and saved the day! They replaced the shower kit and had me back in business fast. The best experience! Don’t hesitate- just get with them! I got the hot bath I was craving since I bought this place because of the diligent and exceptional work of Star of Texas Plumbing. I bought a house with some existing plumbing issues and Reggie and crew not only fixed the problem they went above and beyond! Explained everything every step of the way, presented unexpected issues without any hassle, and always a pleasure to work with. I’m so happy I called them!

Josh took care of our problem by rerouting our hot water from the tank to the kitchen sink and dishwasher. He was very efficient and kept us informed of the procedure he was doing. Tim and Josh were professional, courteous and on time. My gas line had deteriorated to the furnace and they had it replaced in no time and took the time to improve how it had previously been installed. The cost was reasonable and Tim walked me through the repair before they started. Fantastic customer service and an overall great experience. Thank you Doug's Plumbing!!

Our service man (Brandon Taylor) was very nice, professional, proficient, explained exactly what he was doing, wore protective cover ups on his boots, cleaned up, provided estimates for potential recommendations to consider, kept us informed with updates as he performed the repairs.
He also invited a supervisor to drop by and check his work. The Supervisor (Marty) was also very nice and knowledgeable. All my questions were answered.
A special thanks to Kalee who was my first contact this morning. She arranged for the service call. Also Jason talked to me and asked some questions and explained what to expect.
I was impressed that I was sent a picture of Brandon prior to his arrival at my home. I also got a text when he was on his way. That is good customer service.

Timothy Whetstone came to look at my old water heater because 7-8 minute showers were turning cold. He determined that one element was bad and that it’s so old (26 years) that he wouldn’t recommend trying to repair it. He worked up several estimates for a replacement based on different criteria. That was helpful to compare prices and options. Besides that he explained, in lay terms, how new water heaters are installed, what needs to be installed within and why. He made it easy to understand.
He also checked one of the bathtub faucets that had been leaking into the tub after a shower only to discover that it wasn’t a plumbing problem, but an old faucet that just needed a good cleaning and a very inexpensive part replaced. He could have tried to sell me a new expensive fixture, but was honest with me about what was needed.
I’m totally impressed with his knowledge, his ability to explain things in ways I could understand, and his honesty.

We have used Doug's twice and both times were quick, affordable and friendly-from the scheduling office staff to the finished project. Big thanks to Josh for a good explanation of our options for our repair. Being new to the area, I'm so glad that I could find a trustworthy plumber right off the bat. Thanks Doug's!

Josh was awesome, was quick and very knowledgeable and friendly. They communicated every step of the way, took pictures of the issues and showed us the item that was bad ( Copper pipe). Will recommend them to everyone.

Zack from Doug's Plumbing was courteous, quick, efficient and did a great job of installing new equipment. He quickly understood exactly what I wanted and needed. Doug's was referred to me by a Pastor who I admire and trust as well as a few other folks. He was great with my rescue dogs too and handed them each "tribute" that I gave him and they decided he was a friend!

Brandon from Doug The Plumber looked over the job, a dishwasher replacement, reviewed the options with me and then took care of everything. All connection and hookup issues were taken care of, the old unit was hauled off and he even let me vacuum the open bay after pulling the old unit out. Overall it was professional, quick and no fuss. Recommended.

Last week Zach was here to repair our water heater and this week, Brendon and his assistant were here to install a new toilet. Both men did good work and communicated clearly with me. I also always appreciate the work that Kaylee does in the office. I got a text message 10-15 minutes before the technicians arrived to tell me who was coming (with their picture!), and it was within the window of time Kaylee had scheduled with me, and in both instances, it was the same day I called. Pricing is upfront, so we knew what we’d be charged. Definitely recommend Doug’s Plumbing. 👍 Honest, friendly, and reliable.

From the initial call to schedule an appointment, to the finished work. Doug the Plumber and Frank, our plumber technician was amazing. They understand your situation and give you everything you'll need to know up front. I appreciate everything Frank handled for us, and what the company offered. Being that we have an old house with old plumbing. We certainly have other repairs coming for DTP. I highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking for honesty, hard work, and a well priced service.

Tim and Brandon came out this morning to fix a newly installed water heater. Tim gave me all my options. They were able to install the new water heater and rework the piping that was in my mobile home to make it work better. They were also able to install a cutoff valve and pressure regulator at the same time. All this in one day. Tim and Brandon were very professional and nice to work with. I feel so much better knowing I have a better water heater and leak prevention that was not there before. With warranty by Doug's Plumbing I have knowledge that I can depend on them in the future.
