In the middle of June, an enormous tree situated next to my front laundry room unexpectedly toppled onto my house's roof, resulting in extensive damage throughout the affected areas. We called Beacon to have an assessment done on mold we were seeing in our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Scott was out within 1 day and was able to help us pinpoint where the moisture was coming from and what we needed to do to stop it. I told him I’d likely do the work myself and he told me to send him pictures of anything I had questions on and he’d be happy help. As I went to pay him for the visit, he said, no thank you, we do free evaluations. I can’t say enough about his professionalism. If I need help as I work through this project, you can bet I’ll be calling Beacon!

Beacon Restoration was an absolute godsend!!! They were able to handle the entire restoration project in my home after extensive water damage. I was so impressed that they even fought back with the insurance to make sure everything needed was included in the insurance documents and led me through the process. We had some black mold on our master bathroom ceiling and had Beacon recommended to us by another mold remediation company that moved out of our service area. We worked specifically with Stephen, who was INCREDIBLE. He was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and most important to me at the time (I was 7 months pregnant), fast. Stephen discovered the initial problem, which was that our ceiling vent was installed incorrectly and wasn’t pulling the moist shower air out of the bathroom, and oversaw the demo, remediation, vent reinstallation, and reconstruction of the ceiling, all of which was done within one week of my initial call. It’s been a little over 6 months since then and we’ve had no issues at all with mold or the construction. In fact, we have a totally unrelated mold issue in another part of our house (classic Houston) and I just called Stephen again for this job. I highly recommend this company and I know we will plan on using them if more mold issues arise in the future.

Nicolas was very thorough in his evaluation and very detailed in his explanation of how the remediation process would and expected next steps. He was very patient to answer all questions to ensure I understood next steps. He was very pleasant to work with.

The scheduling staff was also very pleasant, expedient and flexible on scheduling. They showed great consideration on getting the evaluation done quickly so any issues can be promptly addressed.

The entire experience with Beacon was outstanding. We discovered a wet carpet along the bedroom wall opposite the shower. We called Beacon that Saturday and left a message. Within an hour or so Stephen called us back and scheduled the mitigation and clean-up for Sunday. Stephen did a fantastic job with that even identifying the source of the leak. My plumber fixed the leak Monday. After 72 hours of drying the area Scott and James came to begin the restoration. By Friday the project was completed. The workmanship was excellent and the communication throughout was just as good. I highly recommended Beacon for water damage mitigation/restoration projects.

Needed a problem in our house evaluated as to its source and if it was something that was going to require mitigation with restoration. A very knowledgeable Beacon specialist, Nicolas, came over within a few hours, immediately identified the problem and its source. Fortunately, restoration services were not required, however Nicolas took the time to explain how our issue could be remediated, and what we should look for in terms of quality with the repair. Very grateful for the information and the excellent estimate service provided by Beacon.

My water restoration went well but after being offered to bid the rebuild Steven never sent me a estimate for the rebuild.

During this last storm hurricane beryl I had damage to my roof causing my living room ceiling to come down. I called Beacon and Stephen came out to assess the damage. This was my first time ever filing a claim. Stephen helped my through the insurance process and him and his team did an amazing job cleaning and drying everything up. Despite it being a holiday, Beacon acted swiftly and professionally and was at our house first thing on Christmas Eve morning to get the process started. The project manager was extremely kind and explained everything to us. He was able to really set our expectations on how the whole process would run. He also joined when subcontractors or anyone would come to work on the home. This was particularly helpful because he was great at explaining construction and restoration terms so we were truly able to understand what our options were. The owner, Scott, was wonderful at communicating with both us and our insurance company. It is very clear how knowledgeable he is in both restoration/construction as well as insurance. We never felt like Beacon was nickel and diming us, quite the opposite in fact. We felt like they truly had our best interest in mind. They were even able to get the project completed sooner than the original time frame. While we hope we never have to use restoration services again, if we do, we will without a doubt be calling them first. We highly recommend their services to anyone who needs them.
