We have used Colony Flooring & Design for many years as we have had carpet, wood flooring, or remodel needs. Hassan has always been there with the right products, and the right price. He is also a very caring person, that wants to ensure you are happy with his work. The most recent work was a complete remodel of our master bathroom. They provided everything from the granite counter tops, shower tile, to the new Jacuzzi, and glass shower. I beautiful job!

We had an excellent experience with Colony. Great selection, great service, and very easy to work with. Colony put in new carpet, a backsplash, granite counters in our kitchen, and tile flooring in the kids bathrooms. It looks great! We'll be coming back when it comes time to replace the floor in our kitchen and when we remodel our master bathroom. You can't go wrong with working with them.

Shawn worked with us lending his design and opinions based on our ideas. Unfortunately was unable to work with him due to budget, but can say his customer service and concierge was top notch.

We were excited to work with Colony Flooring after reading the positive reviews. However, our 2-3 week job turned into 3 months. Communication with Alex was not good and we were the ones that had to go into the store to get answers. He never returned calls or answered questions we had. When we asked the price for back splash tiles and plumbers they used, we got the answer when we got the invoice. He would always say "not much" even when we pursued it. When he went on vacation, he let us know that anyone in the office could help us, but that was not the case-everything was stalled while he was away. After they had been working for 1 1/2 months, we had to delay the process for 2 weeks due to an important work project we had. The granite work in kitchen and bath was nicely done by David. The back splash ended up well, but the guy cleaned his supplies, and grout into our new sink making it a disaster. They sent some one out 3 times to "clean" our sink, but it was badly scratched and cleaning was not going to help. They agreed to give us a new sink. What we have now looks like a family of 10 used it for many years. It is awful and it's only 2 of us and we've had it about 3 months. It even looks like the same scratches have resurfaced, so I'm not sure we got a new sink or maybe it's a refurnished one?

Jul 2023 (Updated): Fast forward 6 years later. We wanted to upgrade our master bathroom with a full remodel. We came back to Hassan and Shawn and glad we did! The team did a fantastic job and we are very pleased with the results. Additionally, Carlos (crew lead) was awesome and really great to work with. Colony takes care of customers and will look forward to future projects!

2017 (1st post): My wife and I recently moved into a new home in the area and was immediately in need to install engineered wood flooring to over 1,300 sq ft of the home, which was previously occupied by carpet. We needed all of this done immediately after closing of our home and prior to when our furniture and other belongings would arrive. We primarily worked with Hassan, who is a true professional in the business. He is kind, knowledgeable, reasonable and also funny! We had initially made a mistake in the measurement of the area needed to cover, but Hassan was willing to work it through with us without giving us a hard time. Through working with him and others at Colony, we got to know him as the person who was more interested in helping the customer meet needs rather than making a profit. In this day and age, you will not find many like Hassan and the folks at Colony. We would also like to mention the great craftsmanship by Jose and his team who did a most excellent job in installing the material and providing the finish. They are true professionals as well and we would highly recommend them!

Shawn, Minor and his crew were excellent. They were able to find my tile and install. Cleaned up their mess and were very pleasant to work with. Also, Brenda and Jasmine in the office were 5 star!

Used Colony Flooring 10 plus years ago to refinish my hardwood floors in Bellaire. Excellent work. Hired a month ago to refinish hardwood flooring in a new home purchase. Did not bid out. I had a budget and Colony worked with me, very helpful. During final walk thru - Hassan (who I worked with before), asked me for more $ to cover gaps that occur with reclaimed white oak flooring, that his workers manually filled in. He told me initially that these gaps will be filled with dust from sanding process (realtor also heard), which I thought would occur. I never asked or expected to manually fill in these gaps. He never discussed the extra work during the last week-only at end. Also, the risers were not painted, told me to deduct costs, found someone to do. Communications awful, why, so un-necessary.

We had a very positive experience working with Alex Ganji and his staff at Colony Flooring. Our home project included marble tile work due some plumbing problems plus whole house flooring; Carpet upstairs and engineered wood flooring downstairs.
From my initial visit to the completion of the jobs, everything was handled to perfection, including materials, personnel, and timelines.
The project was handled with friendliness and accuracy from start to finish. The front desk business managers were also amazing in their handling of samples, quotes, and payments.

Hassan did my carpet and he did an absolutely wonderful job. My carpet was very old, and I didn’t realize how much of a difference it made to my house until after it was finished. The smell, the feel, my whole house feels rejuvenated with this carpet. Hassan helped my mom set everything up, she does not use the internet and asks lots of questions. He did a great job, and I would absolutely use them again. Quick turnaround time and the job was done fast and easy. Thank you Colony Floor 🙏🏻

We used Colony Flooring over 12 years ago for our new home (at the time) hardwood flooring and carpet. Been meaning to change out my horrible ugly backsplash for 5y. Colony flooring did a great job. Took like 20 samples home to debate, staff was very helpful. They were able to work with my compressed timeline of less than 2w including ordering tile that took a week to come in. Store was upfront about any small delays. Installers were polite and efficient and did a great job. Very happy with the results. Thank you!!

Mr. Jake and his his crew did a phenomenal job. My mom, being a senior citizen, he was very courteous and timely in taking care of the demolition of the walls and pulling up the tile in the master bedroom, after finding she had a major leak which damaged the carpet, walls. His team brought in the fans and set them up and checked on them periodically.To make sure all the moisture was out of the walls.
