Constraction reviews in Sugar Land, Texas

We hired Typhoon Construction to resurface our back patio. Phillip did a great job! He completed the project quickly and professionally. He communicated very well, worked with our budget and we love our patio! We will use him again for more projects in the future!

Phillip did a great job with our two upstairs bath remodels. He’s all around great to work with: communicative, professional, and very knowledgeable. His subcontractors are great too- they tidied up after each day, were respectful, and have a great quality of work. We are very happy with the results of our remodel and would use Typhoon Construction again.

Thank you! Typhoon Construction brought our small upstairs bathroom from the early 90’s to the 2020s and made the ledge that ran across the toilet disappear! It looks wonderful. I will definitely use Typhoon Construction again once I save up for the next project.

Typhoon construction was competent, on time, and listened to our ideas but offered alternatives when necessary. Philip was conscious of our budget and helped us to remain in it. If the need arises we would hire Typhoon again.

We recently worked with Typhoon Construction for a full kitchen and first floor flooring remodel. From the beginning, Phillip was attentive, responsive and easy to work with. He provided great ideas and solutions, as well as worked closely with our designer to bring our vision to life. Throughout the process, we found Phillip to be trustworthy which is so important when selecting a contractor.

The renovation was done beautifully. From encouraging us to move out for 2 weeks while the floors were demolished, to sanding down the floors and adding self-leveling to ensure they were up to the highest standards, Phillip's team didn't skip a beat.

As for the kitchen, Phillip's team of plumbers, electricians, drywall professionals, countertop installer and cabinetry workers produced a top-notch kitchen for us.

We are so happy with the end result and would highly recommend Phillip and his team for your next project.

Phillip and his team worked with our pool installation company to turn our backyard into our private oasis. Our patio extension is just what we needed to enjoy our backyard. Phillip was thorough, attentive and highly responsive and his subcontractors were timely, efficient, thorough, kind, and paid great attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with how this all turned out. We highly recommend Typhoon Construction. Thank you Phillip for your incredible work!

If we could give Phillip and his outstanding crew 10 stars we would.

We had 2 upstairs bathrooms remodeled bringing them up to date from the original house build in the 1990's.

Our project included the tear out and install new floors, structurally reinforce a toilet, remove and install quality shower/bath tile, quartz counter tops, custom cabinets, new ceiling vents, and recessed lights.

Each member of the Phillip's crew were experts in their trade. Extra time and effort was done to complete the various phases to our satisfaction.

It was especially good to see how they prepared the entry way to the work areas with cardboard floor protection and floor to ceiling plastic wrap to keep the dust from the demo to a minimum. And at the end of every day, they would sweep and wipe down the floor cardboard to remove any dust left behind that day

Before any work started Phillip met with us to hear what we wanted. Since he has such a wide expertise and up to date knowledge of what is current and what fits where, he was able to get us an even better final project than our original plan.

Phillip also was very present during the whole project. He often came by to check on project elements and more than once, he would don a tool belt and perform some of the tasks needed to keep the project moving. That is an important piece to the quality of the work we received from Phillip as the general contractor. Because he had the experience and skills to do the various functions himself (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc..) he was able to discuss with us what would work best to achieve our goals.

If/when we ever want another remodel project, Phillip at Typhoon Construction will be our first phone call.

I suck at reviews, so I will keep it short and simple. Overall my experience was GREAT. They fixed a roof leak and since then it has not leaked and it looks awesome.

Platinum construction came out to my house to perform an inspection on my entire property. They were very progressional, knowledgeable and friendly about my situation when a storm hit my house and helped me through the entire insurance process to get my home back together. Thanks again guys!
