New View Roofing

I found a leak in our 17-year-old roof. The first company I worked with gave an explanation that just didn’t make sense. I called Nicholas Catanese of New View Roofing and he quickly responded to my text and came out for an inspection within 48 hours. His explanation was clear and made sense. I could tell he is an expert in all aspects of roofing. He has a knowledge of older roof construction (the house is 46 years old). He has knowledge about roofs with solar panels and their special needs (we have 23 panels installed). He discussed all the options, and I decided to replace the shingles and decking. He would add two powered attic ventilation fans. His estimate was less than I expected. He said he would get the job done in one day! He wanted to start early and I encouraged it. At 6:30am on the day of installation I hear a rumbling in my driveway and spotted the supplier’s forklift dropping off the shingles and vents. Soon after that a crew showed up and inspected the site, made sure the gutters were removed, made sure they had access to the backyard, and then covered the shrubs and HVAC units. A few minutes later a larger crew showed up with the decking and a trailer. The crew covered the whole roof and worked nonstop. You could tell they were an experienced and well organized team. They were careful and respectful of our property. Brian, who I think was the project manager stayed in constant contact with me. He sent me photos of the insulation as they pulled up the old decking. If I had questions, he was quick to respond. They were finished by mid-afternoon and then cleaned up my property. They used a magnetic wand to pick up any nails in the ground or street. They left my place looking good. The following day Brian came out again to sweep the area with the magnetic wand again and to inspect the installation. I was grateful for the excellent work they did. New View Roofing is knowledgeable, fair, organized, experienced, and customer friendly. I highly recommend them.

A first class job from start to finish. They provided a reasonable estimate and then arrived on time and finished within the time agreed.They did not ask for a deposit or upfront payment as is the case very often these days. I will definitely recommend this company.

Professional from start to finish. Work clearly explained up front. Tom Longville, the crew lead, kept us informed of progress. Plants and patio furniture protected with tarps/plywood. Roofers cleaned up thoroughly, and completed the job at the indicated time. Highly recommended.
