I chose Juan and his crew to trim the trees around our home this weekend, and I’m glad I did. I had tree branches that were getting much too close to the house and others that were way out over the street or the driveway. In the back, I had branches hanging over the neighboring property and some that were too close to my house. All these concerns were corrected while maintaining the natural beauty of the trees.
Our yards, front and back, look so much better, and all the problems that I was worried about have been fixed. They made certain that we were satisfied with each tree before moving on. They cleaned up everything and left the place immaculate. The price we paid was fair and competitive. Well, we couldn’t be happier! We inherited a 20 year old ++ gazebo when we bought our house. It included an outdated and unused concrete outdoor kitchen.

The gazebo 8 posts/legs had become rotten and it was structurally unsafe due to Texas sun, humidity and insects. The rear of the gazebo roof was actually sagging due to the rotten posts/legs. See pic 3.

We searched for contractors willing to work with what we have. The concrete patio was already in place (did not want to pour more concrete for a full new build) and the roof was largely okay. It was probably just easier to demolish, however we wanted to work with what we have to provide a larger summer shaded space without an entire new build.

We got numerous quotes however Grasshoppers came up best as most professional, prompt, great value and willing to work with what we have rather than demolish and start new. (Many told us we should and although I am confident Grasshoppers could build our dream outdoor structure, we were opting for using existing materials as best we could).

Their highly skilled carpenter Juan and hard working team demolished the concrete outdoor kitchen and replaced the gazebo rotten posts/legs and trim. Worked miracles! Most importantly the rear roof is no longer sagging!

We are thrilled with the results so far and are excited to move forward to repaint, reinstall electrics and add a new fan with Grasshoppers for the final step of this project.

Our outdoor shaded area has so much more space, looks so much better and is now safe again!

I am already thinking of new projects that they can help us with including an outdoor kitchen. Living in The Woodlands, we will definitely use them for our next big tree trim too!
