Stewart Land design did a great job in designing and installing our pool and patio including a fire pit.
They were very responsive with every aspect of the project. The owner was onbthe job opening supervising the construction. We were extremely pleased with their work and attention to detail. The plants used in the redesign were quality, and the crew was well trained. We highly recommend

We worked with Stephen Stewart on a partial re-design of our landscape. He was very easy to work with and was able to bring a beautiful new look to our landscape while incorporating or re-purposing much of our existing design and materials. He listened carefully to my ideas and then added lots of great suggestions that I had not considered. The installation crew were also great! Hard-working, very helpful, and did everything we asked.

In the end, we now have a landscape that we enjoy looking at and being in and around every day. We are so happy that we made this investment and that we chose Steward Land Designs.

We were struggling as to how we should landscape our backyard after putting in a pool. We had Stephen come out and look at our backyard and he was amazing! He listened to our ideas and gave us great feedback - what would work and what would be better. He was right! We had the plants put in that were suggested and it is beautiful! (Just wish we would have had him out at the beginning of the project!) We would definitely recommend Stewart Land Designs for all your yard landscape and design.

We hired John and his team to plant 3 trees and rejuvenate our lawn which didn’t do well with the brutal summer heat we had this year. After consulting with John, he came up with a plan that made sense for us. It definitely wasn’t the cheapest option but it was totally worth what we paid. He and his team were very responsive and paid close attention to all the little details. We've worked with Stewart Land Designs on two previous projects. Our current project involved new landscaping, drainage system, and SOD. John's design for the new beds and SOD really transformed the property. John and Grant managed the project as expected and were great to work with. Both are very professional. We recently had a major project in building a stand-alone outdoor kitchen. Several contractors had opportunities to bid but Stewart Land Designs was by far the most professional and thorough. They did a wonderful job and John Michael was on top of everything from start to finish. This job included a brand new foundation, electrical, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, cabinetry, and the installation of our custom made Neapolitan pizza oven that weighs over 3,000 pounds. I would highly recommend them for any major or minor project. John was very thoughtful in how he approached the project and the features, which were quite complex.

I contacted several landscaping companies for a quote on drainage, beds, and grass (a complete makeover). Stewart Land Design is the only one that came with immediate design ideas and solutions. Great communication throughout the entire process, which is important to me. The workers were here early every morning, working until late in the day. Each day ended with them cleaning, blowing, and straightening their equipment before they left. The project manager, Grant, had an eye for detail and made sure the layout of plants, rocks, and borders were exactly right. Nothing was half done! I am very pleased and will definitely use them again and promote their business! Thank you!

I seldom write reviews unless they are significantly superior to expectations. Stewart Land Designs was. We sought them out for installation of a gas fire pit and extension of our patio. They responded quickly and John came out to listen to our ideas and put a plan in place. Soon after I received an invoice for the services. Some of the services with planting and grass we delayed until spring. But the fire pit and patio we went forward on.
Two areas stand out. One, John responded to communications almost immediately whether the weekday or weekend. Secondly, he was always flexible. When doing a large project you may see items that need modification. John was receptive to all of them and was always willing to make adaptations on the spot.
His crew and project manager, Grant, were prompt, worked hard, and cleaned up each day. The final product is exactly what we were looking for. Especially in that we stated we wanted it to look like it was part of our outdoor area from the very beginning when we built the house 6 years age. It came out not as an addition but an original part of our landscape and house design.
We couldn't recommend Stewart Land Design's and John more highly. We will continue to use them in the future. You should too.

Stewart lawn and garden do great work! My lawn was struggling for years with the clay soil in a new subdivision. A friend recommended them and I now have a beautiful lush lawn! A few of my neighbors have asked how I did it.

John and his team are absolutely amazing professionals. We hired him to do mature landscape design for our backyard renovation and pool build. The backyard looks gorgeous, we get so many compliments and he has been amazing to work with. We originally hired him for the landscape design and installation, however, we had issues with our pool builder and he was a continued source of assistance in that process. Even though he was not contracted for the pool, he helped with all issues, gave guidance and advice to help us navigate the poor quality work the pool builder was doing. We had to fire the pool builder and John and Team quickly stepped in to get the build done, correct all pool equipment issues and get the unfinished work that was taking the other builder months to do, they finished it in a week. His team always kept the job site clean, was responsive to all questions and feedback and the design is gorgeous. I would love to work with him again for the front yard in the near future. Could not choose to go with a better company than this one.

We decided to put in a pool and have some landscaping done after we moved into our home in January 2018. We had a plain, cement patio and a large square of grass - a true blank slate. We interviewed several companies with a variety of ideas and prices. We finally chose Stewart Land Designs because we felt they would do the best job. Stephen and his project manager, John were and ARE STILL very readily available to answer any questions and come out to make any of the minor adjustments we have needed regarding the plants, pool, and spa. Once we had created the unique design that was perfect for our family, the project was started. Stephen was at our home supervising and checking on the project almost daily. It went quickly and smoothly and we were informed about each step as the project progressed. We now have a beautiful pool with sheer descents, fire and water bowls, a luxury spa, travertine pavers, and tastefully designed landscaping. We are very pleased and would highly recommend this company.

We could not be any happier with our completed project. The Stewart Land Design staff were easy to work with, attentive to details, available for questions and clarifications on our time schedule. The job was on the larger side and they were able to handle all aspects of the project in a timely and professional manner. We made changes to the original designs as we went along without problem. Our project just finished in March of 2018 and we had our first family get together and all were as happy with the project as we were.
