I can dry my clothes again! I called them on Thursday and they arrived Friday. A friendly technician quickly and promptly fix my dryer. I appreciate the efficiency and responsiveness of this company. Thanks!

A REAL person answered the phone and set me up for a service call. The repair man was right on time and fixed the issue plus he gave me several tips about washing machines. I highly recommend Grayson Collin Appliance.

I called their number. Their website says they service Collin County. The phone agent told me they do not service Frisco. Last I checked, Frisco was in Collin County. Perhaps they should say on their site, "we service Collin County, except Frisco." I guess some want your business and some don't. Maybe they do good work, but all I have to go on is what they advertise on their website. So, if their site is misleading, I guess their prices and work might be off as well.

We called Lowe’s because the dishwasher we bought a little over a year ago stopped producing hot water on the regular cycle and the heat dry stopped working. The service man was beyond rude: he made flippant remarks and was condescending. He stated we need to warm up our sink water before using the dishwasher (did not have to do that before). He was also WRONG. He came out twice with his attitude that we were simply too stupid to use a dishwasher, fixed nothing, and the last time charged Lowe’s for a part (he installed a zip tie). I looked up the problem with the dishwasher to find it needed to be reset. We unplugged it and plugged it back in a few minutes later. GUESS WHAT WORKS NOW. In my opinion YOUTUBE did a better job then this man.

Chris did a great job in fixing the microwave. He was able to isolate the issue and address it. It stopped working in 15 days. Ever since we contacted but didnt hear back from Grayson Appliance

I had a Fridigaire freezer stop cooling and called GCA. They sent a technician the week of June 13th. He told me the problem was the thermostat and even showed me the failed thermostat connection. He was going to have the office order the part and come back and install it. Several days later he called to say the part that was ordered was the wrong part and the one I needed - the OEM part - was on back order until July. He suggested an aftermarket part that could be purchased on Amazon to get the freezer up and running. I agreed and asked that the OEM part also be ordered. The after market thermostat was installed June 21st. I paid $194 for the part. labor and trip charge. The freezer cooled to zero degrees and I assumed it was fixed and filled in with newly purchased frozen food and meat. The freezer worked for less than one day before it completely failed leaving me the next day with a cabinet full of melted and defrosted food. I called Grayson Collin Appliance numerous times hoping to speak to the owner/manager about some type of adjustment on the charge, but other than texting with the technician several times, never heard back from anyone at the business. I was more than willing to be reasonable about a partial refund, but in no way was I going to pay $194 for a repair that lasted one day. In a rush -in the Texas heat -to salvage some of the food, I bought a new deep freeze. It was delivered and the old one hauled off, all the while never hearing back from GCA management/owner about a refund adjustment or ANY type of solution related to the failed repair. I was a long time customer of this business, but no more. Consumers beware. They didn't try on any level to reach a charge compromise with me in spite of my many attempts to reach out to the management/owner. Zero customer service. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional business. If you need appliance repair, look elsewhere and avoid this business.

Kyle was our service technician and he came inside, with all his protective gear on, and also an excellent attitude. He explained everything he was doing and fixed our problem. Kyle is a good guy and a great ambassador for excellent service and I just phoned his company to tell them the same thing!

Have used them twice now for repairs. Both times, the repair person was able to explain to me where the issue is and fix the problem. He's friendly and quick at completing the repair. It has taken a couple of days to get parts and a couple days to get scheduled. They call before they come out, so I don't have to wait all day. I would definitely recommend this company.

Grayson Collin was assigned to us through our home warranty company. You never know what you are going to get with that. But the technician, Kyle, that came to my house was on time, polite, personable and even went out of his way to fix my dishwasher. I literally couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would definitely call on Grayson Collin myself if the need arises.

Good communication, on time, had the part on his truck, fixed quick, fair pricing.

All I can say is run the other way. I had called for months to get my washer fixed under warranty and each time it was the same response, " we will give you a call back." And for 2 mounths if not more we calling them. They never called us back. Not a good experience! I wouldn't ever recommend this company! I had to call lowes warranty to switch repair companies. Also the receptionist was a bit tackle from time to time.

They were assigned to us through our home warranty program and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. Kyle did an excellent job and was very professional, quick repair & answered my questions & provided feedback on other possible repairs. Would definitely use them again.

I really would love to leave a good review. I mean, this is a local company. I would love to support my local workers. But this was nearly a scam. Well, it probably was a scam. You see, my dishwasher hasn’t been working so well. The circulation pump has been giving out. I ordered another and requested that a technician from Grayson Collin Appliance come out to replace it for me. They were quick - I’ll give them that - a couple of days. They were quick, in and out, twenty to thirty minutes. They also robbed my family. $150 for those twenty to thirty minutes of merely swapping out the part. I probably could have done it myself if I weren’t so busy. Turns out that I should have. Unfortunately, I probably have to suggest that all of my fellow north Collin County neighbors stay well away from this business. Oh, and yes, I did try to get an estimate in advance. If I remember correctly, I was told that the technician would have to advise me during his visit. Wow, yeah, just stay away if you value your hard-earned money. Just in case you missed it - that’s $300 an hour, attorney wages.

Grayson Collin Appliance is the epitome of customer service! They were on time, respectful and kind. Ed diagnosed the issue almost immediately, and Kyle came back a week later with the part to replace. Both Ed and Kyle are extremely knowledgeable and even offered insight on small things I could do at home to extend the life of my dishwasher.

Would absolutely recommend for all appliance repair needs. Will certainly keep their number in my phone!

Buyer beware! We used them to clean our ice machine, but instead the technician came out, did not know what he was doing, and ended up grinding the motor and other parts, so now we have a high pitch sound 24/7. When I confronted the technician, all he would do is get defensive. I called to the office to find a resolution, and after Rhonda pushed me off for 3 days, they said they are not responsible for that and their lead technician (Leanord) decided to get on the phone and cuss me out. I am a big supporter of local business, but unfortunately, this is one business that I would not recommend to anyone. They are extremely unprofessional, unethical, and unreliable.

On Monday 10/23 we placed claims with our home warranty company. Grayson Collin Appliance was selected as our provider and scheduled an appointment for 10/26 7am-11am.

    Today 10/26 ...

First of all, the office staff was busy, when they called me at 8:15-8:30am to locate the model #. They seemed to be put out that I was having issues locating the info. Which ended up on the back of the machine and not the lid as they had instructed me. Then, they did not realize I had a second claim, that was scheduled for the same time. (Despite the fact we could see it on our end through the warranty system. ) The staff then informed me that they did not have the part needed for the washer repair, without even coming to the house to inspect the washer. Again I asked about my second claim on the dryer, after 3 calls with office staff I was told they would send my info to the tech who would then contact me.

The tech did call to inform me that the onsite fee was $60 per claim. When my warranty claim stated specifically $45 each claim. The tech proceeded to inform me that I would need to contact our warranty company to get this fixed. I agreed and was going to do that in the mean time prior to his arrival. He informed me he would collect $60 for each claim until it was corrected on his end. Despite the fact I had a claim in-front of me stating $45. Next, I was informed his arrival window would now be 11-1pm, not the 7-11am time frame that I was already waiting at the house. I reiterated that the claim system stated 7-11am. That was the time I could be home and had rearranged my schedule earlier in the week to be here during the 4 hour time frame. Now they where adding 2 hours to make it a total of 6 hours. I did not agree to the new time frame of 11-1pm, as I had a conflict. The tech abruptly informed me they would be reassigning our claim and not be coming at all. They did not give me an option to reschedule to a later date.

Frustration between the tech and myself was apparent. Within a 30 minute time frame communicating via phone, I would not recommend this group to anyone. I do understand schedules change however the provider could have given us the the option to reschedule.

I was unable to use this company per there decision.

If this company does not want to work for warranty companies than don't signup to be one of there vendors. Or decline the claim in the first place. Now I am waiting on another company and it could be 3 more days before anyone can come out to look at my appliances. We are understandable upset, when all we want is to get this fixed up and running correctly.

Yes, its our choice to have a home warranty. In the long run it has always been a good choice for us when something breaks.

No customer service. No communication. We have been waiting over 6 weeks so far. We made an appointment for them to come out and look at the dishwasher(a week out), took off work for it and then they called and said they are not coming out because they know what the problem is and are going to order the part. (Why didn't they order the part the week before or have extra available since it is a frequent and known issue?) Then we had to call back the next week and ask what was going on, and they said the part is on backorder now. They don't call and give updates. You will have to call everytime to find out the status!!

Repairman removed the icemaker, looked it over, cleaned out the water line to it, put it back in, told us that should fix it and left. We called back when it didn’t work any better, and were told he would get the message. Nothing happened. We called the home warranty company. They called him and his secretary called us and set another appointment. He didn’t show up. The secretary made false excuses to the warranty company about calling us back; they did not. We would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have had such consistently good experience with this company that I will never ask anyone else for help. They are good to talk me through things I might be able to fix myself (that's a limited set, though), Leonard is always prompt, professional and pleasant, and the staff that answers the phone are always friendly and kind. They are, in a word, wonderful.

My washing machine was not working so I went through my warranty co., Assurant. They had Grayson Collin scheduled to come look at my washer. They didn’t show. When I called I was told they had to order a part for my “dryer”. 3 more days I called and was told they ordered parts for washer. I told them no one had been out to look at it yet to determine what was wrong! No answer. I made an appointment with another appliance repair company who came out immediately and fixed my washer!

Straight forward and great service. I appreciate the professional communication with the team returning my voicemail, then explaining what I could expect, then the technician calling me.

Unfortunately a part needed to be ordered, so it will take some time, but they promptly responded the week of the holidays with reasonable detail and explanations.

    Expectations were properly set.
