I just purchased two new split systems. Scott Heating and Cooling was the best priced and offered me an unmatched 10 year warranty on labor as well. The field supervisor, Joseph Gonzalez and his assistant Andre were total professionals and worked their tails off to get the units installed quickly. Their quality of work is unmatched and would recommend this company to anybody in El Paso who is looking for honest, top quality work. Thank you Scott and crew!!!!

My air conditioner was not cooling and it was on a Sunday. I called and Lola was super attentive a courteous. She was able to get a technician out here on a Sunday within two hours from my phone call, Hector, the technician was extremely friendly and mindful of my budget. I called other places and they were charging me up to $500 just to come out here, I understand, it’s a weekend; however Scott heating was extremely affordable. I highly recommend them and will definitely call them again when I have any issues with my air conditioner.

I just want to say how thankful I am for the service from Chris. My heater was not working properly and Chris came to my home to fix the problem. Not only did he fix the problem but also showed why it was occurring and how to prevent it. I have had other HVAC companies fix my utilities and have never gotten such a explanation like I did from Mr Chris. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for HVAC services! Thank you Chris for being great. Scott heating and cooling will be my go to from now on!

Very satisfied with the customer service and the AC repair. Chad was the technician that came out on a Saturday. My 3 amp fuse kept popping on the AC circuit board. He found a part that connects to the main disconnect that had failed.

Professional, polite and was a wealth of information. Will definitely hire them for future service.

Excellent & Amazing service with Christian went above and beyond even came out on Saturday to install part we needed on HOT weekend. Lola was so helpful over the phone as well. I will be recommending to ALL our friends & family!!

I called for information and if it was easy to set up, after i got a called from a technician named Chuy, Chuy went above and beyond diagnosing my AC Unit and he fixed it! I only was charged $150 Much recommended 😎

I highly recommend Scott Heating and Cooling! Christian communicated well, was on time, and only charged me $150 to come out and diagnose my AC on a Sunday morning! After having the misfortune of calling Ampire first, being told by the person answering the phone that they would "call me right back", and never receiving a call on a Saturday evening, I called Scott. I quickly received a call back back from Christian, who came out the next morning (Sunday) bright and early at 8:00 a.m, and only charged me $150. I will only be calling Scott Heating and Cooling going forward.

I want to thank Antwan and Sepy for their quick and efficient diagnosis and repair on my HVAC unit. We have had no air for a few days and are so happy to have all in working order again. Thank you to the two techs and Scotts for their great service

Christian Perez with Scott Heating & Cooling serviced our Trane unit. He explained the need for cleaning the coils & did a great job. Wow As a military retiree now working for NASA. Scott heating &cooling is all about professionalism and you'll receive very detailed quality work. I'm so happy to say, Scott Heating and cooling met and exceeded my Expectations 100%. Like anyone would be I was nervous about the whole project of installing a mini split in my home theater that required cutting into the home. My home was built with 2 stand alone A/C- heating units. the theater room is huge and only has one vent(built 2012)REALLY? Well we had to do something to make a Room designed for comfort more enjoyable for what would be the point of having home theater room. Making the decision on who I would hire to do the install for a mini split would be very difficult being I only got one shot with whom ever I chose to get it right. Well I must say, after seeing scott doing some Charity work for a local housing projects here in El Paso I was truly overwhelmed and I didn't even need but one quote which was scott heating & cooling for my project. I most say, boy did I get it right going with scott. The Estimates are honest and their techs delivered top quality, professionalism and truly leaving your home very clean once the project is complete. They'll explain how everything will be done before they even start also informing you, your home will meet or exceed the code compliance within the city Also they'll inform you that you're getting a permit which also included a city inspector to sign off with a pass or failure inspection. Well everything passed without fail, Scott heating & cooling even give me a military discount. Now how respectful is that!! Now for how well scott heating & cooling is established, how many businesses well tell you no payment is required until you are completely satisfied with the work that was conducted within your home.. Thx Sam the A/C advisor and Bryant and your co-working just a overall outstanding incredible company.. even my outside exhaust was custom installed to Compliment our home. As being military Retired a company like scott heating & cooling made me proud to have served our wonderful nation and they always tell you thanks for serving and not only do they say it but they show it with the quality and their wonderful military discount. I was never pressured to overspend on things I didn't need. Infact the price was so nice that I chose to go with a Trane mini split and my must have was to be able to use the unit by way of wifi. To my surprise scott heating & cooling Comminated my request. Bottom line if you want it done right with a seal of approval from the city scott heating & cooling is a must have company for your projects. No need to try and get them to lower their price for they well already quote you a wonderful price that you'll love. Thx guys

The worst thing a family wants during a heat wave is for the HVAC unit to go out. Last Saturday we woke to a hot house and the air was not blowing cool at all. My sister in law recommended Scott and I immediately called and made an appointment for Monday morning between 0800 and 1100. Steven, the technician called me at approximately 0930 and told me he was twenty minutes away. Twenty minutes later Steven was knocking at my door. After some troubleshooting and quick diagnosis, Steven gave me the bad news and the good news. Long story short. Steven showed up by himself on Wednesday to install some large and intricate parts for my HVAC which were covered by warranty, thank God. As always when it comes to large repairs, on Monday I did some research and checked out the competitors and I am glad that I trusted Scott with these repairs. By noon on Wednesday the Air was blowing "cold" once again. I will definitely recommend Scott to friends and Family for future HVAC and plumbing needs.
p.s. Scott Management Team: Steven is a true asset to your company and if all of your employees are this well trained and knowledgeable your success is certain.

A little back story going into this review.
I had been looking into converting from evaporative to refrigerated cooling for close to 2 years. I had received quotes from many different companies, but never felt confident with them based on a plethora of different reasons. I stumbled upon Scott's and decided to contact them after thoroughly reading reviews and checking their website. Scott came out and his knowledge and experience was immediately evident. He thoroughly explained his recommendations based out our home's layout and provided 2 quotes later that day.
The decision was made and the crew was ready to work 2 days later. The install was smooth and completed in a day. This included removal of the previous heater and evap cooler, fully cleaning the duct system, replcaing every register, and fully relocating the down vent for better air flow as well as sealing the old location. Once the installation was complete, the crew adjusted every register to make sure that the airflow was evenly distributed around the entire home. A little clean up and the job was complete. Since the install, they have called a few times to see how everything is and to let them know if something comes up. This is a company that takes pride in it's work and will go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right and to the customer's satisfaction. If you're on the fence like I was, give Scott's a try. I think you'll be happy with the results.

This company installed my unit in 2017, they take care of it since, winter and summer. I have nothing but praise for the work they do, their courtesy and promptness. Yesterday I had the winter upkeep done by Chris who has taken care of the unit before and he is as knowledgeable as he is pleasant and courteous. I have some work that needs to be done in the summer with the pipeline on the roof but Chris assured me it can wait till then but will need to be done. I trust the company with my unit and trust their professional expertise and honesty. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

They showed up on time however, they did not have the house address. It just happens that I was outside and saw their truck going by and waved them in. I was told they would provide Two estimates within a week. a week went by and I called the company and spoke with a representative. Gave them my information and also an additional email address however, I never heard from them again, so I couldn’t give you a review on this company as They appear to be doing well and don’t need the business. Thank you for showing up.

I feel as if this business deserves two separate reviews; one for service and one for cost.
I had a leak that was fixed promptly and expertly. It required access to the plumbing through the dry wall which had to be demolished. The repair of the dry wall was done beautifully. Overall, each person who came to my home was professional, courteous and very conscious about cleanliness. I was so pleased with their work.
However the cost was exorbitant. To locate and repair the leaking pipes cost $258.00 per hour. And some of that time was 'down-time', that is, some of that time was spent waiting for arrival of equipment. Repair of the dry wall was more reasonable at $80.00 per hour.
In reading other reviews, I would echo the sentiments that the work performed is characterized by expertise, dependability, courtesy and promptness. But a caveat here applies: If you are going to use the services of Scott HVAC, get an estimate first.

My wife called for a quote for our gas lines on Monday. We mentioned that we needed the gas lines fixed because we have been without hot water for the past 4th months .They came that Monday and looked at our lines and advised they would give us a quote the following day. It’s been a whole week and we had to call them and spoke to Albert and he said that he needed to sit down with his plumber and get a quote. This was supposed to be done since Tuesday so I’m not sure why that wasn’t done when told. Albert advised he would call us back in 20 min and 2 hrs later we had to call back. We spoke to Lola and she said he stepped out and to call back in an hr if we didn’t get a call back. It is super unprofessional to have customers wait and then not get a callback or a response .

My ac stopped blowing air 1 night so I called this place to come look at it. I tried to get ac and heater service since they are out there anyway but they tell me that'd be a separate call and charge and that they don't service both at the same time. Not sure when service companies stopped providing actual service but it was annoying. Ac started working before they even went out to look at it so I pissed away $95 for nothing. Could have at least lubed a couple parts while on the roof. Also they said there was a special for $190 to service heater and 6 months later the ac. I'm not understanding what the difference is if I pay $190 to get them both done at same time? Won't be calling them back, I don't have tolerance for stupidity.

RENTERS BEWARE !Do not rent lots from him we agreed on a monthly rental for the yard and started rent on 8-1-24 . Contract fell through and I let him know on 8-9-24 that we had everything out and what happened and he would answer back and finally after 10 days just responded back with no. I paid $2250 which was first and last months rent and only stayed 2 weeks but they refused to give back any money. RENTERS BEWARE they scammed me on that one so I hope this helps yall stay away .Business was done with Scotts heating and cooling and here’s the receipt and text messages.

I called this business and asked the cost to clean out a clogged kitchen sink drain. This respondent stated that it would cost between $125-225. I asked what would determine the price and was told that it would depend upon whether the small or the large unit was required. The service techs arrived on schedule and completed the job, 40 minutes from getting to my home until writing the invoice. They used the small unit (shorter "snake" length). When they gave me the invoice it was for $220, which I immediately questioned. I was then connected back to the office, where the contact person said that he had quoted a range of charges, that the plumber who performed the service determined the actual charge, and that he (the one on the phone) was not a plumber and couldn't determine the price. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, AS THEY WILL NOT GIVE TRUTHFUL ANSWERS. The work was perfectly acceptable, but the price was excessive, and not what had been represented. I had received several quotes from other services for this work, but unfortunately would have had to wait, which turned out to have been the better option. This was a routine service during regular hours, no emergency. I over-paid by almost $100. BUYER BEWARE

I deeply regret choosing Scott Heating and Cooling for my HVAC needs. Their customer service was far below acceptable standards. Not only were their business practices questionable, but the owner and manager blatantly avoided my calls (I tried 3 times a week for 6 weeks). I was left without AC for a gruelling six weeks, and to add insult to injury, they refused to honor the warranty on my two-year-old unit with multiple issues without any explanation. They installed the unit 2 years ago at a cost for $7,000 and provided a written 10 year parts and labor warranty but won’t honor the labor part. Such behaviour speaks volumes about their lack of integrity and concern for customers. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their HVAC needs.

*If you have ANY concern that your AC may not be an easy one day fix, DO NOT use this company!*

Once you pay your $95 fee, don’t count on this company coming back out to help. But do count on them upselling an annual maintenance plan for $205 without making sure you end up with a working AC!

Monday:
-$95 fee to check AC to be told it’s frozen over and needs to defrost.
“Not a big deal. Technician advised me that the $95 fee has a 30 warranty and they could come check the AC unit after it defrosts. Ok cool!”

Wednesday:
-Call asking for a technician as AC has been defrosting but still not functional.
-Told that the technician will come out Thursday afternoon between 3-6.

Thursday:
-Call about 4:45 to verify technician will still be coming out to the house?
-Told that technician is unable to make it and will move appointment to Friday afternoon 3-6.

Friday:
-Call around noon to verify once again that a technician is coming out today
-given confirmation that technician will arrive between 3-6
-Call AGAIN at 5:30
-Told it is after business hours and all that can be done is a message sent to the technician?
-6:15 no technician in sight.

I used this company once before with no issues which is why I returned. Maybe it’s a one off situation but I refuse to test that theory with this company.
