First thing I wanna do is to thank Pooltec For Hiring Juan Moreno. He was servicing my pool one day and found that my diverter valve was leaking water. He came to me and told me what he thought was causing the problem. I called his office and they sent out a repair man and repaired It. w I Would highly recommend pooltec as your pool service. Juan is dedicated to his profession and I thank him very much for doing what he’s done he’s gone above and beyond. Thank you juan.

Since I started using your service over 10 years ago, my pool water chemistry has always been excellent. I have never had an issue with algae or chemical imbalance. The technician does an exceptional job in ensuring pool use can occur as soon after treatment as possible.

We were out of town for two weeks and had not been able to to keep an eye on our pool. When we got back, it was very very green. When Juan Moreno came by to do the weekly chemicals in our pool, he said, don’t you worry I will take care of this! Take care of it he did! I don’t know what magic he did, but within a few hours, all the green had just fallen off the walls without me even brushing it. it went from disgusting to swim ready in a very short amount of time! Juan Is always so respectful and so kind and genuinely cares that you are happy with your pool and his service! He is the best Pool Service person we have ever had in the eight years we have been here!

Aaron has done a terrific job getting my pool back in shape. We had ducks over the summer and he managed to keep pool running great even with the ducks here. The last one left and he has overhauled the pool back to optimum working conditions. Awesome job.

I’ve had several pool maintenance companies and this one has been the best and most consistent. I have nothing but wonderful words for this company and the pool tech Francisco. They are very professional and provide great service.

My pool has never looked better. We no longer have to worry about testing, chemicals and vacuuming! We are free to enjoy our pool!!!

Recently Pool Tech started weekly cleaning of our pool. So far we are pleased especially with our technican Zack Wilson. He is polite and interested in doing a good job. We need more young men like Zach. I don't normally leave reviews but Zach stands out.

We so glad to have PoolTech to maintain our pool services. Especially, Michael Wolfe has truly made a difference this season. Compared to last year, our pool has been in excellent condition since he assigned to our account, the water is consistently clear, the walls are spotless, and the chemical levels have stayed perfectly balanced. It’s clear Michael is highly skilled and takes pride in his work. His weekly visits have brought reliability and peace of mind, and we genuinely value the effort and attention he puts in. Asked them to discontinue service due to quality of workmanship and black spots being left in my pool. We told them that we used PoolRx to keep the mold problem to a minimum and requested they perform chemical treatments with that in mind. After we discontinued service, their tech returned and dumped cheap shock in my pool. This cause copper etching over 1/3 of my pool bottom. Do not use. Techs are not trained in the chemicals they use.

Aaren provides our pool with excellent service, he’s courteous, always available to answer my questions, and consistently delivers professional top-quality service. I am extremely satisfied.

Before Pooltec the name was Pelican Pool. We have used their services for many years. The pictures below are two days after our weekly (Monday) service. I don't think I remember the last time it was crystal clear after a routine service. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I'm tired of my husband coming home from work and having to check everything. Today expenses are high and at this point pool service is a luxury not a necessity.

POOLTEC IS A RIPOFF! I had them come diagnose my pool for $179 which would've gone towards the repairs. . . except ALL of their quotes were OUTRAGEOUS and in one case completely wrong.

They quoted 3 items:
Replace 2 lights for $3,721.72 which should only be ~$200/ea
Replace a filter pump for $3,017.39
Replace water feature pump for $1,352.38

The filter pump is legitimately expensive though they gave no other options and the water feature pump does NOT need to be replaced per a 2nd opinion from another company.

PoolTec wanted to charge over $10,000 for these 3 repairs!!!!
We're getting it all fixed with a different company for ~$3,000!!!!

I wasted $179 with PoolTec. I will NEVER use or call them again.

UPDATE: They said my light fixtures in my pool needed to be replaced and that was why they quoted ~$3,000 to replace the lights. . .it included the fixtures. EXCEPT, my fixtures DID NOT need to be replaced. I got the gaskets and bulbs replaced for a total of $275 and they're working PERFECTLY.

DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM! Their estimate guy was either INCOMPETENT OR FRAUDULENT! I will NEVER use them again.

David H. did an excellent job with the startup after pool re-plastering.
He is very knowledgeable, courteous, hardworking, reliable and kind.

Wanted to give special thanks to Pooltec for saving my pool after Hurricane Beryl destroyed half our house. Everyone did a great job to get my pool back in shape. Special thanks to Ada’r Rodriguez for his hard work to get the debris cleaned out and then to kill off all the algae. It was a mess and he got it back in good shape.

PoolTec provided an assessment of my pool heater function and identified problem areas. An estimate was provided and I accepted. The pool tech did the work without problems and restored the pool heater to operational. The work was done professionally and quickly. Thanks for fixing my pool’s heater

The price of the circuit board seemed a little high to me

Since Pool Tec took over my service from another vendor, we have had nothing but problems. I have patiently been trying to work with them, but between employment issues, communication issues, and untrained personnel. It has been difficult. They have left my backwash open and drained 6-8 inches out. They sent a tech that refused to clean my hot tub and wouldn’t call the office for clarification. Each week I hope things will bring to turn around. 🤞
