Called them for the $49 tune-up special. Ryan was very courteous and thorough with the inspection and initial high level cleaning of the outdoor unit. Took photos of the issues he found and explained things thoroughly. Great company to work with!

David has an outstanding work ethic he and Nick we're both at our house until quarter to 1:00 in the morning getting the system installed. Highly recommend this firm they'll get it done right for you

I am writing to share my very disappointing experience with Fast Response Heating & Cooling, starting on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Seeking professional help for my approximately 15-month-old Minisplit inverter compressor system, I even visited their location beforehand to ensure they were comfortable working with this type of newer technology. Despite this, the technician who came to my home stated that Minisplit systems were unreliable and suggested replacing it with a new traditional unit for a significant cost. This was in addition to their initial diagnosis of needing replacement electronic boards, quoted at a substantial price for parts and labor. The technician's invoice comments indicated "burned" boards due to a power surge – which was untrue. Adding to the frustration, the unit is now running perfectly after another company identified and fixed a simple electrical line issue. This directly contradicts the initial diagnosis of major component failure. The claim of "burned" boards was clearly incorrect. Consequently, I was unnecessarily without air conditioning for two weeks because the actual problem should have been resolved during the initial visit. Based on the initial diagnosis, I ordered replacement electronic boards at a significant cost. These parts were entirely unnecessary, and I am now stuck with them, potentially facing return shipping fees. When I inquired about a "Diagnosis Invoice" to understand the issue and potentially utilize my warranty, the company was uncooperative, refusing to provide necessary information. The stark contradiction between their diagnosis and the actual problem, the suggestion to replace a relatively new unit, the inaccurate notes on the invoice, the demonstrably false claim of "burned" boards, the unnecessary purchase of expensive parts, the two weeks without AC due to their error, the lack of cooperation regarding the diagnosis invoice, and subsequent communication attempts all point to a significantly flawed initial assessment and unsatisfactory service. I strongly recommend seeking a second opinion if you receive a complex or expensive diagnosis from this company, as my experience suggests a potential for misdiagnosis with costly and inconvenient consequences. I just have requested tbe reimbursed for the "Diagnosis" invoice I paid for; plus the shipping cost of the parts I need to return. I'll update this review if I got any response from them.

Let's start with the good parts. Trey is an asset to Fast Response. He and Darrell are A+ installers in my book. They got the job done installing our downstairs system in record time and it was hot as heck! Trey specifically went above and beyond to give superior customer service and for that I am grateful. However, stay as far away from Shawn Pettway as possible. He's a closer and a very dishonest one. I had to correct Shawn at least 3 times on issues he said here in my home but insisted that I misunderstood. There's absolutely nothing wrong with my comprehension. The issues began with him lying after his very first inspection of our system. I pushed the install back to have our home warranty company give a second opinion which would have resulted in them buying us out. The company that gave us a second opinion took photos of where allegedly screws were removed from our unit and not put back where they came from and the door to the unit was left open. This resulted in us having to pay out of pocket with no reimbursement from our warranty company. When I explained this to him he said "I didn't bring any tools to your house." All I could think was how were you able to perform an inspection with no tools? He misquoted financing numbers and tells me I heard him wrong. I guess my husband and I both need hearing aids. Then there's the thermostat mess where this Google Nest comes into play. It won’t work in our home. We literally talked about this the day of install and June 3rd. I requested that the thermostat that’s in my contract be replaced with a ZWAVE . My thermostat connects to my alarm system and this Google Nest they wanted to stick me with is not compatible. I spoke to Shawn about it several times and still have the text messages regarding replacing the pre existing thermostat with the same brand. He even went as far as to tell me that he paid for it and gave us discounts. This meaning the 10% Veterans discount my husband received. But he said he could remove it from my estimate but there would be no money returned to us. I didn’t ask for money I asked for the proper thermostat that I know is added into the total since there’s no breakdown of costs anyway. At this point I was beyond annoyed with talking to him and knew that I’d better keep every text and every recorded conversation between us. But I was told that I’d receive the ZWAVE thermostat and today I was delivered a damned Google Nest thermostat that I didn’t want and can’t even use. Needless to say I’m beyond frustrated with how this was handled and feel disregarded by who I was told is a district manager. This is my home and my investment so I’m hoping that nobody else goes through 21 days of foolishness like I just experienced. But hey, Trey thank you again so much for your efforts and hard work we appreciate you!

Fast Response Heating & Cooling showed up with Great Customer Service. My AC unit was not cooling the temp outside was 94 they fixed and inspected my unit and had everything running properly. Thank God for Fast Response Heating and Cooling I will definitely use them again!

Ryan Audet did an awesome job. He is very professional, quite knowledgable and thorough. He gave a detailed explanation of concerns and issues he observed. He came out for regular maintenance check but I ended up having him go ahead and fix the issues, of course at a reasonable price. I am very pleased with his work and excellent customer service.

Walter has great experience and knowledge about the ac units. He came to do an ac tune-up. He was very thorough about the details of what the ac unit contained and required. Walter and Shawn provided great information and service about the ac system options and next steps that were indeed necessary for moving forward.
