Landscaping reviews in Wylie, Texas

The crew is very nice, friendly, and very professional. They do a great job mowing and edging my yard. Very happy and the price is just right! Highly recommended.

Would not recommend at all. This is what lawn looks like after being treated for several months.
And from their responses here, you can see they like to pass the blame for their incompetence. -
William started out of the garage...now many years later Texas Lawn Tech has a loyal customer base that has grown more than he could imagine.
Texas Lawn Tech is not perfect, Never claimed to be. But they do a job most people do not want to do or can not do themselves.
Texas Lawn Tech has the ability to have the folks at Lawn Lab to do the weed and feed programs, they are licensed and the professionals for that. -
William & Sue were amazing to work with & did a fantastic job mulching our beds as well as designing our raised garden beds, putting in flagstone & crushed granite & installing our new irrigation system that we can operate from our phone! I can control my garden soaker hoses as well as all my irrigation-WOW! Highly recommend them!!

We have used this service for over 4 years and are very excited to be part of their new packaged plans. The services included in the Gold Plan cover everything we need done in the yard, including minor sprinkler issues and the bigger issues of ants and grubs! This is a great way to have a beautiful yard with none of the worries. It even includes flowers. The bronze and silver plans are also a bargain if you need less services. With the higher cost of fuel and labor, this is truly a no-brainer.

I just sold my house in Sage Creek, Wylie, which means I have to part ways with Texas Lawn Tech. They took care of my property on Riverhead Drive for three years, and did an outstanding job! They were always on time. The yard always looked great. And they were always friendly and professional when I talked to them on the phone. I can't say enough good about them. I will miss them greatly!

I don't recommend Texas Lawn Tech. They started out reasonable, being responsive and doing a decent job.
After staying with them for awhile, we became a number and quality and customer service declined.
We needed some landscaping done and we asked William, the owner, for a quote. We explained when we asked for the quote (and again when my husband walked around our lawn explaining what we wanted done) that we didn't want all the work done at once. We wanted to know prices, but we may pick and choose because we wanted work done in stages. William acknowledged he understood. However, when we received the quote we had to agree to get everything done at once to decline the entire thing. I was frustrated because William completely wasted our time despite what we explained from the beginning. We weren't going to be pressured into anything by him sending a quote with no opportunity to pick and choose. I even spoke to them after declining the quote and they said we had to accept everything in the quote or refuse it all. So, we passed on landscaping, but continued with mowing and lawn treatment services.
William also owns the company that does the fertilization and lawn treatment for Texas Lawn Tech. At first, our grass looked amazing and all the weeds disappeared. After awhile, weeds and crabgrass started to grow covering a bunch of our lawn despite the fact they were treating the grass regularly. I called asking if the formula had changed or something because the weeds were making our lawn look like it wasn't being treated at all. William's wife, Sue, said she would send someone out to look at the weeds while explaining that weeds are hard to get rid of. Well, the reason why I'm paying a professional is to get rid of weeds. I missed their one call to have them stop by and then the snow storm happened. I got busy after the snow storm and wasn't able to call back. They never reached out to follow up. However, they continued to treat the lawn and it continued to look bad. I commented on a social media post about my dissatisfaction regarding the weeds. Sue had seen the social media post and called me really quickly after that. However, the call wasn't to follow up on the weeds and see what they could do differently, but to talk in circles, argue, and say how the lawn was my fault having not called again. She said (and I quote) "Well, we don't actually look at your lawn". You are a lawn company. Isn't that your JOB to make sure the lawn looks professionally cared for? She was completely condescending and rude, raising her voice and then ending the call by belitting me. She never took responsibility for poor quality. She never apologized for not addressing the weeds even during our call. She never apologized for her tone and rudeness. I declined any further services.
After parting ways with Texas Lawn Tech but BEFORE hiring any other mowing or lawn treatment companies, we tested our sprinkler system for the first time for the season. We found broken sprinkler heads! We called a sprinkler company and when they came out, they found a total of THREE broken sprinkler heads. The company told us the heads had been run over multiple times. Well, I guess Texas Lawn Tech really doesn't look at your lawn even as they are mowing it and running over sprinklers.
Once I had the sprinklers repaired, I had another lawn treatment company out to look at our lawn. They told me that to have as many weeds as we do the lawn treatment application had to have been careless. Proper treatment would not leave that many weeds.
Texas Lawn Tech has awful quality. Awful customer service. Texas Lawn Tech cares more about doing damage control with negative reviews than being attentive to both quality and good customer service. I don't recommend them at all. More unhappy customers are all over Nextdoor with their negative experiences as well. -
I've been having my lawn mowed regularly by Texas Lawn Tech for about 2 years. The price is very reasonable and they set up auto-pay so I don't have to worry about being home to pay with cash. Professional, fast, and courteous crew. They are careful with our belongings and kids items in the back yard. The best part is being able to call their business phone to speak with a dedicated customer service rep--she is always so helpful and resolves my concerns on the spot.

William and his team at Texas Lawn Tech are top notch. Their work is always done to the highest quality. Their response time is also excellent. We have used their lawn and sprinkler services for years and this summer we had to call them for an emergency. We discovered our sprinkler system had been damaged when we had some external plumbing work done, and it had been off for 3 months in one of the hottest summers on record. William came out the same day I called him to assess the issue and worked with our plumbing company to resolve the broken sprinkler system. It was fixed properly, not just a band-aid fix. We appreciate their hard work and look forward to working with them for many many years!

Our family's experience with Texas Lawn Tech has been nothing short of a relief.
We signed up for their gold lawn maintenance package almost 18 months ago, and the difference in our yard's appearance from 12 months ago is astounding. They've also been a great help with ad hoc irrigation fixes and have been our trusted team for Christmas light installations for the past two seasons. It's hard to put into words the freedom we feel in outsourcing these tasks to a team that consistently delivers exceptional results, allowing us to spend more quality time with our family on weekends.
Finding consistent, reliable service at competitive prices is challenging, but this team has delivered. -
We’ve been customers for 9 years and couldn’t be happier! This company always shows up on time, does excellent work, and charges a fair price. Their consistency and reliability are what keep us coming back year after year. Highly recommend!

I used Mowpros to have weed fabric installed on my flower beds and mulching on top. They gave me an accurate estimate on the same day. Team of two came over and did a fantastic job. I was very happy when I came back from work to see how good of a job they have done. I called in to say that I really appreciated all the hardwork they have done and learned that the teams name is DALLASWHITE. So I figured I would leave a review and share my positive experience white this team and Mowpros overall. Great value for the quality of work done.

Austin Brown is our tech and he is very efficient, professional with his work and always friendly.
Also had them trim our front landscape and a great job was done. Thorough clean up too.
Good value compared to what our neighbors pay. -
We have had our yard mowed 4 times over the last 8 weeks. Today they left large swaths of 6-7” grass unmowed. They also didn’t edge around the whole patio, or mow a patch of grass next to a flower bed that was easily accessible. This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed the whole yard wasn’t mowed and all of the edging wasn’t done. The job they do isn’t worth what they’re charging.

We have only used this company for a couple of months, and already had to cancel. The last couple of times they ran over my hose, then my sprinkler and today a Halloween decorations, then thrown in the bushes for me to find later. Normally not home during the service, today I saw for myself. Not to mention they only edge the sidewalk, forget the rest of the perimeter of the yard. Not worth the price!

I have been using MowPros in Austin for the last two years. It’s a great service and they show up like clockwork. Juana is so helpful anytime I contact the office. Highly recommend.

I had mow pros a couple of years ago and wad thrilled with the service. However, when I tried to start service with them again it took them over a month to get out to my property. At this point my yard was so overgrown they wanted to charge me extra money to mow what have been trying to get them to mow for multiple weeks now. I refused to authorize additional monies for something that should have taken care of several weeks prior. I sent them 3 emails asking why my yard had not been serviced and when it would be. Next they pushed the service out two more weeks. When they didn't service me then and I called about it, they moved the service date again. They were not willing to accommodate or compromise. They just offered to cancel my account. Horrible customer service!!!
I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO USE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. -
When you need a mow call the pros!! Mowpros did a clean up at my property and I could not be happier. They did an outstanding job of cleaning up the fence lines. Thank you again

I signed up for MowPros about a month ago for their bi-weekly lawn services and have already needed to cancel. Below are the chain of events that caused me to cancel services:
3/15/2021: Signed up for an estimate for lawn services and received an email back with their prices. Completed my registration online as well.
3/18/2021: I called to confirm prices; they agreed on the prices given. Then I followed with an email confirmation on prices and received a confirming response on 3/18 as well.
3/23/2021: I needed to follow up with MowPros as I did not have any form of communication from them as to when they were starting. Turns out they needed my CC info (I had no idea as no calls or emails were made). Gave it to them and continued. Still without a start date.
3/26/2021: Called again because there was not any form of communication (email or phone) as to when they were starting. They told me Tuesday 3/30 would be my start date.
3/30/2021: One person shows up to service my yard and stayed in his truck in front of my house for 30 min before I receive a call from Fernando. He states my lawn is too tall and will need to charge extra in order for them to continue. (Mind you I have cut the lawn since I initially signed up and ensured it was ready for them to service as I read their guidelines). After sending him pictures he agreed I was right and serviced my yard.
4/13/2021: Received a call from Fernando again stating my yard is too large and the "office" made a mistake and stated the price will be 10 dollars more weekly or 15 dollars more bi-weekly. I politely refused and asked him to have his office call me.
4/14/2021: Spoke to the main line and mentioned what happened and they confirmed that the office indeed made a mistake (even though I asked them to confirm my address and prices two times prior to them starting). I asked them if they could make things right since I signed a 6 mow minimum agreement on their website. They declined. Finally, I just asked to cancel without penalties and they agreed.
This leaves me at the same spot I was a month ago; searching for lawn care providers, needing to buy another mower in the meantime (got rid of mine after first service), and a whole lot of frustration from wasted time. -
This has been one of the worst companies. They have a great website, but their service is terrible. I had to complain almost every time they "mowed." There were missed spots all over the yard and the weed-eating was terrible. Once, they didn't show up, didn't call, email, text, nothing. I called the next day and they said they would have to move my day to the following week, so of course, I had to mow the yard myself because it was already tall. Once, they said they would comp me for a terrible mow job then charged me...twice. And the final interaction, they called *on the day they were supposed to show up* and said that the mow crew said that they were robbed while at my home two weeks before and had to cancel my service because "they didn't feel safe." Not sure why they didn't notify me of this two weeks ago or why they didn't call the police? My guess -- it didn't happen. I live out in the country in a very low-crime area... unless you count cow poop as a crime. And the crew pulled into my driveway past the gate when they came (and spent only about 20 minutes on my half-acre). But luckily, this happened before my 6-service contract was up! So, I was super happy I didn't have to pay any more money for (or file another complaint about) the absolutely terrible job the mow crew would have undoubtedly done! Thanks MowPros!

Such a scam, after couple weeks of rain the grass grows more than expected they charge you 170 an hour. I highly advise you to Go with local 1 person contractor. They are more honest and don't do these scams with your service
