Swimming Pool Contractor reviews in Wylie, Texas

TL/DR: This is a team of consummate professionals who know their field and understand precisely how to execute a project. In a sea of service/building industry mediocrity, these guys stand above all the rest. I have 100% confidence in their abilities. They did not disappoint with the execution of a beautiful pool, patio cover and kitchen project. And almost as important as the execution, I can also recommend them without hesitation for their ability to follow up and follow through. If you need a comprehensive pool/patio project executed without headache - this is your company.

My husband and I have had a LOT of experience with GC’s and subs over the years. I have grown accustomed to the disappointments with subs not showing up or doing shoddy work that has to be redone (sometimes 2 and 3 times!). I did not have this experience with Texas Outdoor Oasis. I think that speaks volumes to the relationships they have built with their subs over their years in business as well as the people who are on their payroll. Both their direct employees and all of the subs we encountered were courteous and made sure the site was cleaned up at the end of each day.

Shawn was the PM for our project. He was patient with explaining things when I had questions and did a great job with properly setting expectations. On dig day we had a small sticking point on about a $750 piece of the project and I was worried for a split second I was going to have issues. It was handled with grace, and from that point forward Shawn proved to be reliable to a fault and always willing to do whatever it was going to take to make us happy. Honestly, I feel he went above and beyond multiple times which is quite unusual these days. I am super happy with how he handled the entire project.

Bo was our landscape design person and he was quick but thorough with recommendations for a couple of changes to what I originally had in mind. We love how that piece of the puzzle came out as well.

Adrian is our contact going forward for warranty work and any additional random questions we might have. He was our pool school guy and pool startup person as well. He came out every weekday for two weeks to brush the plaster and adjust chemicals to make sure we had a stellar startup.

This is probably not our retirement house, and if we do end up building that house and want a pool, you can bet we will be contact Texas Outdoor Oasis to complete that project as well. They get an A+ from us.

Texas Outdoor Oasis built a pool, patio cover, and landscape project for our family over the past several months. We were very pleased with the professionalism, service, communication, and quality of work. Our designer, Michael Mueller, fully understood our requirements and designed a wonderful space that works for our family. He was happy to make changes and edits throughout the design process and talked us through material selections in a thorough manner. It was so helpful to meet Michael at the company's design center and office here in Wylie where we were able to look at many material samples in-person. Additionally, we walked through the design on the big screen in their office and he patiently made small changes and edits to arrive at our final design. Our Project Manager, Shawn Garretson, made the build-process run smoothly and efficiently. He effectively communicated when crews and sub-contractors would be expected at the house and was always readily available for any questions and concerns we had about the build process. We received a weekly email from him detailing the work that was completed for the week and the expected schedule for the week ahead. We worked with Bo Spears on our landscape design and implementation. I expressed my hopes for a colorful landscape that could also withstand the Texas heat. He helped me select the right trees, shrubs, and flowers to really complete our project in a beautiful way, including a truly creative way to incorporate garden boxes into our yard. We are grateful to Texas Outdoor Oasis for a job well done.

Thanksgiving 2024 brought us a backyard transformation we are extremely thankful for, thanks to Texas Outdoor Oasis! What started as a small and limited space in our backyard has been completely reimagined into an amazing outdoor retreat we now enjoy every day.

From the initial design by Michael Mueller to the detailed oversight by project managers Charles Bragg and Shawn Garretson. Michael’s vision brought our ideas to life with thoughtful details that maximized the space, while Charles and Shawn ensured every step of the project was executed with excellent quality, clear communication, and professionalism.

The project began in the last week of June and was completed by the first week of November, right on schedule. The quality of craftsmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail is evident in every feature of the pool and backyard. The transformation truly exceeded our expectations!

We highly recommend Texas Outdoor Oasis to anyone looking for a company that delivers exceptional design, quality workmanship, and a hassle-free experience. A huge thank you to Michael, Charles, Shawn, Brandon, Adrian and the entire team for creating a backyard we’ll enjoy for years to come!

We had an amazing experience with Texas Outdoor Oasis and can’t recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, Bo and Caleb were knowledgeable, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to help us solve some serious issues in our backyard. Before their work, our yard was a mess—constant water drainage problems, mud everywhere, and overall just an eyesore.

They helped us thoughtfully design and install new flowerbeds and walkways that not only look beautiful, but completely resolved our drainage issues. The transformation is incredible—what was once a problem area is now one of our favorite parts of the home.

If you're looking for a team that’s professional, creative, and genuinely cares about getting it right, Texas Outdoor Oasis is the one to call. Thank you again, Bo and Caleb!

We had Texas Outdoor extend our covered patio, build a pool, and landscape our backyard. Michael created a great 3D rendering so we could easily envision the final project. I loved the detailed estimate being an accountant I love the details.
They were great people to work with. We had a couple hiccups along the way but they acted swiftly to resolve any issues we had. Our neighbors even commented on how polite and respectful all of the workers were through out the process. Would definitely recommend them and actually a colleague is using them to build her outdoor kitchen and extended patio.

Texas Outdoor did an exceptional job building our patio and outdoor kitchen, far exceeding our expectations. After months of researching and comparing multiple companies in my area, I narrowed it down to three companies for quotes, and Texas Outdoor stood out.

Their excellent reviews and impressive portfolio initially caught my attention. They ultimately earned my business by being responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and transparent about costs and timelines. They worked within my budget while delivering results that went above and beyond.

I worked with Courtney on the design, and she was fantastic—always prompt, attentive, and skilled at bringing my ideas to life through the rendering. They invited us to their showroom, where we could see and select materials in person, ensuring we were informed and satisfied throughout the entire process. Charles, our project manager, was equally outstanding. He was highly knowledgeable and kept us updated every step of the way.

I’m thrilled with the final product and can’t wait to work with Texas Outdoor Oasis on my next project. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality and professionalism.

Texas Outdoor Oasis completed our Patio and Pool at the end of November but the holidays came up and here i am and I want to thank Michael and Shawn so very much and all of the contractors who put this together. It turned out amazing. When they said I could call anytime and check on anything, I literally did just that and they had the answers for everything. We had a group text set up and I used it very often. Everything was completed on time and explained very thoroughly. I definitely recommend Texas Outdoor Oasis for Patio's and Pools. They are great. Thank you all so much.

We trusted Texas Outdoor Oasis with our pool build and we are happy with the end product. It was completed on schedule despite some weather delays. Communication was good.

Their team was extremely professional, communicative, and respectful of our property throughout the build. The quality of their work is truly tremendous—every detail was done with care and precision, and the final result exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We cannot say enough great things about Texas Outdoor Oasis and the incredible team that made our backyard vision a reality! From start to finish, Caleb, Troy, and Bo went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our project was completed with top-notch craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Our project included a pool, arbor, roof extension, landscaping, outdoor kitchen and decking, and every element turned out better than we could have imagined. Caleb was fantastic in keeping us informed and making sure everything stayed on track. His expertise and hands-on approach made the process smooth. Troy’s design met all of our needs. Thank you, Caleb, Troy, and Bo, for your hard work and dedication—we are absolutely thrilled with our new outdoor space!

Texas Outdoor Oasis recently replaced my pool tiles and plaster finish. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their pool refinished. I dealt with Tony the sales and warranty manager, as well as Allen the project manager. Both are very experienced and highly knowledgeable. They are both also very responsive pleasant to deal with. Every phase of the project was professionally orchestrated and executed to perfection. I ended up choosing Texas Outdoor Oasis for my project over four other highly regarded pool refinishing companies, even though they did not provide the lowest quote. I did so because of the detail spelled out in their proposal and the overwhelming positive reviews. I did my homework and made the correct choice. Tony was extremely helpful, candid and informative while helping me through the purchase process and Allen, the project manager, not only kept me well informed on scheduling, but also handled any questions or concerns in a very timely manner. In closing, I will tell you that I do not believe in giving recommendations unless they are totally warranted. Texas Outdoor Oasis is a very high quality professional company that you can feel comfortable doing business with.

Our project was a large one with a custom pool, covered patio, and landscaping. We got quotes from three very highly rated companies but felt Texas Outdoor Oasis would do the most thorough job with the best communication along the way. We were right. Josh and Shawn with Texas Outdoor Oasis made our experience a 5-star one! Every week we got emails and texts explaining the next steps in the project that we could expect as well as what was recently completed. We didn’t want a project that would be completed in a hurried manner with negative consequences down the road. Texas Outdoor Oasis made sure everything was done to the best standards, and we saw our project manager, Shawn, every week. I have no complaints at all, and we would 100% recommend this company for any project, big or small!

When we decided to build a pool, pergola, and backyard landscaping, we looked at several options in the D/FW area. We were impressed with Texas Outdoor Oasis reviews and decided to give them a shot.

The design process was very easy. They came out and surveyed the yard and were quick to give us an initial design. They were very responsive to changes and design questions. The showroom was really nice and presented lots of choices. They worked to keep the design within our budget.

During construction, they were very good at communicating when workers would be there and what was expected. Digging started in September and they were done in December. They kept the construction area clean, and kept any disruption to a minimum.

The landscape designer was very responsive to our ideas and they did an excellent job of landscaping the yard. They also repaired any damage to the existing turf.

Overall the experience was very good. We would recommend them to anyone wanting to build their dream backyard.

Texas Outdoor Oasis exceeded expectations. They beat the scheduled completion date and took care of every minor issue my detailed wife had for them. They are financially sound, and as a forensic accountant, I can tell you, do not take that for granted with pool companies. If their bid comes in 10% more or 10% less, use them. A further endorsement, our “picky” HOA board is now using them.
Have Michael M. design for you and request Charles (CB) to be your GC! They are both very good at their jobs!

From the time we made the decision to add a pool, we sought out multiple quotes from local builders. It was clear to us early on that Texas Outdoor Oasis was completely squared away, and a cut above the rest. The quotes were all pretty comparable from a cost standpoint, but only Texas Outdoor Oasis walked us through the entire process up from what to expect from a schedule and communication standpoint. Charles and Michael from Texas Outdoor Oasis were an incredible team to build our pool. Michael's designs are very creative and he is extremely knowlegeable, not to mention he was very patient with us as we made several design changes. At the beginning of the build process, Charles and Michael created a group text with us that allowed for consistent, accurate, two-way communication that was very much appreciated and helpful. Charles was our project manager. He is professional, knowledgeable and has a great relationship with his crews. His crews were top-notch and went above and beyond, from cleanup to working around minor details to make sure we were satisfied! Texas Outdoor Oasis is hands down the best company to create the backyard of your dreams. In fact, we are using them again to create an outdoor kitchen. We highly recommend them!

We could not be happier with our Texas Outdoor Oasis pergola and patio project! From the first contact to completion of the final walk-through everyone was extremely professional with each step of the project.
We were blown away by Jen G’s design and very much appreciated the itemized cost of the project so there were never any surprises. Shawn was an exceptional project manager and kept us informed of each phase. At our final completion walk-through, he even shoveled snow for me off the new patio!
Outstanding work by all subcontractors also added to the ease of the project. We highly recommend Texas Outdoor Oasis and will be using them in the future for an additional landscaping project.

Texas Outdoor Oasis hit it out of the park. Our pool, landscaping and pergola project has been amazing. From the first phone call and to everything in between, each and every person that worked on this project provided excellent service and professionalism. We never had to worry about when is someone coming or what is next in the project. Communication was top notch and key for us and they didn't disappoint. It started with Michael who was our designer of the project. He had great ideas and listened to what we wanted. Our project manager Shawn kept us up to date every step of the way. He was patient with all our hundreds of questions and kept the project moving along. Bo was our landscape designer and had great ideas to finish the beautiful project and his attention to detail was top notch.
Victor was the one that installed all of the drainage, grass, rock work, sprinklers and landscaping and it turned out perfect. He was so easy to work with. Nacho and his team were outstanding in the installation of the stonework and marble decking. Last but not least was Adrian who made sure the plaster was cleaned and dealt with all the chemicals for 2 weeks after the pool had water in it. He was so friendly and easy to work with. We have built 4 pools and I can honestly say this one went the smoothest. The end project exceeded our expectations.

Our pool experience with Texas Outdoor Oasis was excellent. From the design team to the installation team, we have no complaints. The communication from group chats to weekly updates was outstanding. Michael, Shawn, and Adrian are very knowledgeable and experts at their crafts. They were able to accommodate a couple of requests we had with no issues and had some great suggestions. Without a doubt, we will be using Texas Outdoor Oasis for future projects. Thank you for the many years of enjoyment we plan on having here..

TX Outdoor Oasis just completed our pool and patio extension. They did an amazing job!! Shawn and Michael were on top of things the entire process. Anytime we had a question they were quick to respond. If we ever had a concern with the project they were quick to come out. They started a group text and Shawn provided weekly updates. We gave Michael our vision and he brought it to life. We cannot say enough great things about Michael, Shawn and TX Outdoor Oasis. We highly recommend TX Outdoor Oasis for your pool. I have attached photos so you can see how great the project turned out.

The entire process was handled with the utmost professionalism, and the customer service was outstanding from start to finish. A special thank you to Bo Spears and Shawn Garritson for their exceptional oversight and support throughout the project. Victor and his crew also worked incredibly hard to see that everything was as planned. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality made all the difference.
