It's been a year since RWK destroyed the back of our house, excavated a precise pit at the rear foundations, and built the most beautiful kitchen, interior stairs, pantry, half bathroom, laundry room, and mud room in its place.

They were responsive, flexible, honest, conscientious, and responsible. Their foreman knew everything and everyone -and everyone we met with talked about his character and integrity.

You'd think, for all that, they would also be the most expensive company. They were not. Furthermore, all costs were laid out, updated as needed, and totaled at each agreed-upon point.

Did everything turn out perfectly and unicorns painted rainbows over our heads? No. It was a major remodel on a house, for Pete's sake. RWK (mostly our foreman) addressed any and all concerns, however -even the few that may have been our fault (say, like a poor decision of flooring).

I recommend them to everyone. Job well done, guys.

RWK did our full main floor renovation - floors, finish trim, cabinets, lighting, you name it. They did an amazing job! RWK has my heart, they were phenomenal to work with. Ryan, Vince and James were very professional always available to talk and extremely knowledgeable about everything. Vince was our project manager and he was amazing, he was always available even on personal vacations. He made sure we were always happy and when something wasn’t available he was great at finishing us other options. I was skeptical when I saw they had 4.9 stars but I took the leap and gave them and try and I have 0 regrets. They showed up and got the job done, when we had time issues for permits they were always informative and persistent. Vince came out often to check on progress and to make sure every job done was done to only the highest standard. I would use and recommend RWK to anyone and everyone. It’s cliche but because of Vince, Ryan and RWK in general we got a basement beyond what we could’ve imagined!

We used RWK Construction to build our garage couple years ago, we were very happy with our project manager, Jeff Rogers and their work so we called them again this year for our new construction project.
Jeff Rogers is the best project manager in RWK Construction. He is reliable, conscientious and honest. I trust him to take care of my construction project and any concerns we may have, he texts us every day of the progress so that we are aware of what is going on. We admire his dedication to his job.
He showed up once or twice a day during construction to make sure everything is going as planned.
We highly recommend RWK Construction for any projects you may have. We will continue to use RWK Construction in the future.

RWK was one of a few contractors I asked for a bid to finish my basement. They were not the cheapest but were reasonably priced. We went with them because of their emphasis on minimal disruption and size of the company. It turned out to be a fantastic decision and I'm now recommending RWK to everyone. They came in under budget and the project was completed nearly a month early. No construction project is without hiccups but they were very prompt in addressing all of our concerns and communicating on a daily basis. Highly recommend.

My husband and I decided it was time to get our basement done. It's a huge undertaking and just getting quotes is such a hassle. We met with a few other contractors before meeting with RWK so we knew what to expect and what to look for and what to examine when comparing quotes. After James from RWK came out we were instantly excited about this company. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting with James. My husband liked him and he doesn't like anybody! James made sure we knew that RWK wasn't going to be the cheapest or the most expensive but the quality of their work is unmatched. We ended up hiring RWK and I'm so glad we did. I couldn't even imagine going through this construction process with any other company. We were assigned our very own project manager, Jeff, who we absolutely adore! He was amazing and never made us feel like we were asking too much with all of our design changes or when we'd text him at 10pm (haha, sorry Jeff). Jeff was available to us any and every time we reached out to him. He made this 10 week basement finishing so easy and so seamless! Another thing we loved about RWK is the app that they use. The construction schedule is on there so we were able to know in real time who was going to be at the house and when. We've had times with other companies (patio builders, fence companies, landscapers, etc) where we had no idea who was coming or when. With RWK it's all planned out ahead of time and the schedule didn't change. Everyone was always on time and very respectful of our property. It was very refreshing! Also with the app, we were able to pay our invoices! So easy!

Based on the recommendation of my long-term plumber, I chose RWK Construction for my recent upstairs remodel. I previously had less than ideal experiences with contractors so was quite reluctant to move forward with a much-needed update of my home. RWK began by providing a detailed estimate with costs for each step. No overall bid with no idea of individual costs! I was able to evaluate the estimate and identify areas that I wanted to change. Changes, including costs, were tracked through a 'Change Order' that was sent to me for approval. RWK uses a wonderful site called 'Buildertrend' where I could track every step of my remodel! I always knew which craftspeople to expect and when any changes were made. My PM was Jeff who kept the site updated and patiently explained to me, sometimes more than once, how construction works. Jeff is amazingly attentive to detail and constantly checked that the subs had done as planned; he made sure what they did was what I was paying for. My friends with remodeling experience were shocked that my whole upstairs remodel was completed in 3 months! I wholeheartedly recommend RWK Construction and I hope to use their services again next year when I proceed with my basement remodel.

We did our basement with RWK and are very happy with the finished product, and the process along the way! We’ve done lots of house projects over the years with contractors and working with RWK was by far the easiest experience. Taylor manged our project and he was extremely on top of things, communicative, and easy to work with. He managed everything so thoroughly and got the project done well and on time. We really appreciated his attention to detail, it made a huge difference with everything turning out the way we hoped. Taylor managed and oversaw every step, we did a basement entryway, kitchen, guest room and bathroom, built-ins, a weight room, and storage room. If we need more work done in the future we’ll use RWK again!

Wow wow wow! RWK Construction finished our basement in around 4 months. I can't recommend them enough! The basement turned out beautiful with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, under stair closet and a huge family room. It is everything we wanted.

I really can’t say enough good things about the experience that my wife and I had with RWK, and that has rarely been the case for us with contractors these days. We hired RWK to be GC for us on a very extensive renovation project after interviewing several local builders. We really liked our sales guy James, who was very patient with us, walked through the project and got us a competitive bid. Our project on our 9000 sf house broke ground the first week of June and included a ton of demolition, reframing, new windows, and nearly an entirely new exterior with some interior elements as well. Jeff ran point on project management and was an absolute 10/10 in that role. Very responsive. Extremely conscientious and super knowledgeable and friendly as well. He guided the project along to the last day and continues to check in as well to make sure we are satisfied with everything. Ryan, the owner was also very responsive and knowledgeable. Pricing was fair and transparent. I literally have zero complaints about their work and I think that is rare for such a long and complex project. Eddie, who was our framing lead and his crew were the hardest workers I have ever seen. We have to mention Trevor because he ran point on logistics and saved our bacon several times when other sun-contractors weren’t following through with their stated timelines. RWK will be our builder from now on for all of our projects and we highly recommend.

I highly recommended RWK. RWK had done my parents basement previously and were given glowing reviews from them so we knew we had to check them for a bid. The bid was very reasonable and near the lowest of the six companies we got bids from.
Jeff was our project manager and was fantastic. He contacted us daily with what was going on with our addition/remodel. He was very responsive to our messages and needs. He was truly excited about our project.
All of the subcontractors they set up were awesome and did a great job.
We had been told it would be around 5 months, we finished in 4 1/2 months. Other companies said it would be 6-8 months.
We are so happy with the final result. It’s just as we had hoped it would be.

I was so impressed with RWK and Jeff Rogers, our Project Manager! They added 500+ sq ft behind our house this summer, including an extended kitchen, a pantry, a mudroom/laundry, an office, a half bath, and upgrades to our existing space. Just to highlight a few things I appreciated:
1) they did awesome work in a short time. Jeff kept all subcontractors within a specific window of time. RWK is large enough and respected enough that subcontractors are ready to do and complete their work in their specified time windows. Other bids we got had the job taking at least another month.
2) Jeff responded to all our questions and any concerns and was very kind when doing so. If anything was missed, he made sure it was taken care of, even if it meant him coming to do it.
3) the quality was top notch, and the price was comparable or better than other contractors we got bids from.
I'm so happy we went with RWK.

RWK Construction is hands down the best choice we could have gone with to finish our basement and make our dream become a reality. From the start, they came in with creative ideas we never would’ve thought of and helped us bring the space to life in the best way. The whole process was smooth. Great communication, fair pricing, and they started and finished in such a quick turnaround.

We had the pleasure of meeting Don from groundwork’s this evening. He was incredibly personable and friendly, very knowledgable and displayed a great deal of faith and trust in the company he is a part of. He thoroughly explained the process, answered all our questions and presented us with a clear plan for remediation. Working with tools for a living, I always enjoy speaking with someone who you have no doubt knows exactly what they’re talking about. I would certainly recommend a visit from Don for anyone having issues with their home.

Anthony and Mitch came out to perform some work on my concrete surrounding my house. Anthony was very knowledgeable and walked me through everything that was being worked on and what to expect. Between him and Mitch, they were able to address all my concerns and wrapped up within a few short hours. The work was beyond my expectations and I’m a happy customer!

Hunter and Joseph were very professional and courteous. They thoroughly explained what they were doing. Did a walk through with us and asked if we had anything we felt needed fixed. I highly recommend Groundworks.
