I have never met a company so incompetent. I have a pricey cooktop that failed its warranty. These clowns were contracted by RC Wiley and Samsung to fix it. 2 dofferent experiences, 2 poor outcomes. This is onn Samsung for outsourcing to these pinheads and Total Appliance for being pinheads.

They were supposed to repair my refrigerator I had a protection plan through Home Depot. However they refused to do the repair because my abusive ex decided to call and tell them not to do the work. Now they refuse to do the work. Worst company ever!!!!! They help abusive jerks continue to abuse!!! WOW!!! Let’s just keep that cycle going!

Oh my HECK!!! Long story short last time at my home April 8, 2020. This was repair #5 maybe. Front load washer...one of the technician replaced a motor all run a muck from this point on oh yes and months waiting for the part to come in this lead me to the above date 3 parts replaced by that time..no the washer was never repaired to working order the tech that installed the motor created a total mess from broken harness wires to main striped bolt!!! So 4/8/2020 this tech just lied to me from the beginning told me harness was ordered and bolt??? then he tried to "splice" broken wire ..he told me that this fix would just be temporary until parts came in???? Next 4/10/2020 email from Lowes sorry this washer is uneconomical to repair...say what this washer was bought Oct. 2017.. and for approximately 5 months of that date waiting at there mercy.. and now uneconomical.. there were tech(s) that created a bigger problem and no on stood up to the fact they messed up so $700 est. hard earned dollars I paid were uneconomical to repair????? Hmmmm really!!!!

I'd give them zero stars if I could. These guys are scammers and lie right way too much, and never show up on time. They tell you one thing to your face and something completely different to the warranty company. Technician will collect service call fee and won’t give receipt and company will contact the customer for money. What ever customer says they never bother to listen or check with the technician regarding the issue. Money minded and scam.

Scam artist company. This company was late, rude, then had my warranty company decline the repair. Then they called me and tried to sell me a new a system. This is literally bait and switch. They know the warranty company would pay them less for the work. So they get the warranty company to decline the repair. Stay far away.

I am perplexed by the reviews. I had Total Appliance assigned to us via a home warranty company. Total appliance was the 4th or 5th company to service our unit for summer & winter checks. As usual I always request cleaning of the coil. Prior to Total Appliance, the coil was "cleaned" 4 or 5 times.
On the first visit from Total Appliance, the tech opened the coil compartment and called me down to look at it. To make a long story short, there was a child's sock in the coil compartment, and it was extremely dirty, enough dirt to clearly see that the coil had not been cleaned in a few years. Unfortunately, I had paid to have the coil cleaned by the other providers that were here previously. None of these companies actually did the work. Total Appliance did.
I now schedule my HVAC work directly with the warranty company to assure that Total Appliance is the one and only HVAC company that services my HVAC unit.
As with all home warranty work, repairs are a two part process. There is the diagnostic call, where what parts are needed is determined, and then once they have the parts, they come and complete the repair. There is a time frame involved with most HVAC service calls that require parts, some parts are quicker to obtain than others, but that has nothing to do with the company that is making the repair.
I recommend Total Appliance 100%. -
Agree with other comments about Total appliance service being a scam. They came to my home, looked at refrigerator said it would cost $500 to repair and departed. Never touched refig then I get a $106 bill with a threat to send me to collections if not paid immediately. Another company looked at refrig saw the problem was thermo set too high and fixed the problem immediately. No charge... Avoid Total Appliance Service at all costs... they are the worse...

After a month and a half of the repair man coming and then leaving again saying he needed to order a different part again. Finally decided to just call another company. The dishwasher was then fixed in 25 minutes with the different company, no parts needed. Don't waste your time with total appliance service, call someone else.

Samsung fridge, 3 years old, cost $3800, it stopped cooling. Paid for a consultation...it was determined the fridge needed a compressor. Paid for a compressor install... It worked for a minute then died again. i still don't have a working fridge. Called to find out what's next, they said the fridge can't be fixed. Thanks for all the appointments and the time and money I spent to have the fridge fixed. Nice folks, but they gave up on this fridge with no follow up, no rebate offer, no real explanation.

We have had a TON of problems with my kenmore oven that came with our house. It is still under warranty so it’s been so much back and forth between sears, total home and whoever they purchase parts from. Freeman (one of the techs) has been to my house doing services 6 times. 6 times now. He has replaced everything that seems to be wrong and has done a great job in a timely manner. He is always within his 2 hour window. I have zero complaints about total home.

I did not pick this company, my home warranty did. What a JOKE. They ordered a part, 5 days later they were supposed to install it and instead call me to tell me it's cracked and they have to re-order it and will be up in a week. They only go to Park City (where I live) 2 days a week and refused to make an exception, not to mention completely dropped the ball by not checking the part when it arrived instead of 5 days later when it was supposed to be installed. Their office manager and schedulers were less than helpful "nothing they can do". DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you don't mind being without your appliance for a month.

Avoid this company! We had to use them through our home warranty company to repair our dishwasher. They didn’t call before they came like they said they would, didn’t even say they were from they company when I answered the door and worst they let things worse than they were before they came. After “fixing” the dishwasher they forgot to plug some hoses back in before turning on the water and it caused water damage. We took pictures and contacted them about compensation for damages. They said they’d look into it but now they won’t return our phone calls or emails.

Home warranty sent them to fix my dryer, Took them 2 months to get the correct parts. Once they finally got them, they set up an appointment between 1-5, I had to take the day off work to be there for the appointment. They didn’t even show up until after 5:30. As they were fixing other parts they said they accidentally broke the ignitor on my dryer. He said he would come out the next day (Saturday) and fix it but we would need to pay for the part he broke.
Saturday I asked for a timeframe on when they would show up and fix the part and we were told they couldn’t do it because they were partying the night before but they would be back Monday.
Today is Monday, the part is still not fixed, when I asked for a timeframe on when it would be done they told me they were not sure because it was an “odd” day.
I have renters moving into the house tomorrow and there is currently a torn apart dryer in the middle of my floor and no timeline on when it will be fixed.
I am also still confused as to why I need to pay for a part they admitted they broke. -
Don't waste your money or time. All they do is lie. The reviews say everything. This is the worst company ever. It took several phone calls to speak with the owner, Roger because he just stepped out, he will call you back in an hour, he went on vacation, he is out sick. So after they stole my part and no refund, I am still out $400 and my refrigerator still does not work. So I called Samsung and I was able to get a small refund.

I know when people are frustrated they jump online and rant and rave and I totally get it. Being in the property management business I work with a lot of repair companies and have had my fair share of frustrations. TA was contracted through an extended warranty on a Samsung fridge 18 months ago for me and not only diagnosed the issue, he also had a solution to an ice problem that the freezer was having, ordered both parts and fixed it on the return appointment for the repair.. Was polite, professional and informative about what he was doing..
April 2022 They are back for another issue that we had the diagnostic appointment, and I wasted the techs time when I missed his call and left waiting until he had to go to another appointment. He had showed up about 10 minutes before his scheduled window, so props for being prompt..and they were 100% polite in rescheduling for the next day.. So thumbs up,, I have had 2 very good experience with this company with 2 different techs. -
Sears Home warranty uses them. My appointment was between 1-5. The Tech never called or texted to keep me informed on his progress. I called your number and low and behold it was ALWAYS busy. From your reviews it's hard to believe that your THAT busy. What is going on? I would have given ZERO,

Home warranty contract with National Service Alliance. Then NSA sent Total Appliance Service to fix my refrigerator came out didn't even have the right tools instead just look and said parts need to order. So wasted another time of my day off. Take another time off from work when parts came in and installed and of course it make it worse and wasted all my food in the freezer because nothing is working. Scheduled another appointment to come out on 06/03/2020 from 2-6pm but didn't showed up. Re-schedule again for 06/06/2020 between 9am-1pm showed up but again no right tools and equipment to be able to fix the problem. This is the only time the technician test the temperature of my refrigerator were in fact the very first time when he came out should do the test to figure out what was the problem. Honestly 3rd time coming out nothing is working. Now trying to re scheduled and sending another guy out again to do the see if the problem can fix. Not a reliable company. I highly dont recommend. Should not even get 1 star at all.

Landmark Warranty sent this company out to repair my refrigerator. One technician was sent out 3 times and replaced a thermostat, condenser and fan on 3 different occasions and it still did not fix the problem. On one occasion, the tech was even 5 hours late. Then a senior tech was sent out the 4th time and diagnosed the problem as a faulty compressor and told me Landmark will not replace the compressor. This company is a joke. They do not know what they are doing. In the end, it cost me more money to take time off of work to wait for these clowns! Run away as fast as you can from this company!

Be careful, this company is a total scam.We called the warranty company for a service in our appliances. They assigned Total appliance. The "owner" of this company came to my house (after missing 2 appointments) and say:"I have a washer for delivery". He didn't even know what planet he was on. Long story short, I end it up paying $90 dollars for showing up to a guy who had not idea what he was doing, said that he needed to order some parts and never even called back. We called back the warranty company to find out the parts he requested were discontinued, according to him. It was a surprised since we have wolf appliance which are very reliable. We called subzero, purchase the parts and pay to install them with another company. Total appliance took my money and did nothing. Lazy, irresponsible, unreliable, liars...

Worst customer service. The manufacturer referred us to this company to fix our dishwasher. We were informed everything would be covered under a warranty. No invoice or any contract was provided to us about parts or labor. Technician came 2 times to fix it because the first time he had the wrong part. He apparently fixed it today but the problem still persists. After the tech left the sales agent called and requested we pay $212 for the service. We explained that we were initially told that all was going to be covered. Total bait and switch tactics. Very unethical business practices. Avoid this company at all cost.

They have WASTED my time twice this week. I have an extended warranty with Lowes. This outfit cancelled my scheduled appointment after THEY called the wrong number. eventually got the right one and then couldn’t even leave a message or call back number. just dropped me. 0 customer service.
did they make it right when confronted? nope
would fix it the scheduled day, committed to the following weekend (saturday) never called, never showed up
they have officially failed twice. i’m calling Lowes and demanding another warranty service provider helps me.
So i still have a bad major appliance and they are no where to be found. how long do you want to live “at their mercy”? No thanks.
