Reviews of local pros in Eden, Utah

The VDB crew have done a bunch of projects for us and they ALWAYS deliver. Kevin, or Vanilla-K as I prefer, is a King among jesters. Call them if you have any landscaping it design needs. Tell him Funky D sent you...

Valley Design Build did an excellent job. Kevin came in to finish a landscape project that another company left uncomplteed. He took the time to explain our options -- pros and cons of each idea -- giving us the confidence to hire him. The job was completed ahead of schedule and exactly as budgeted. Kevin has also followed up repeatedly, ensuring our complete satisfaction. The yard has never looked better. Our only regret was not hiring VDB initially! Thank you Kevin and team!

Kevin, the owner, was impressive from day one on a revision waterfall/pond project. He was able to very quickly determine what would work well for this project laying out a couple of different viable options, and what impacts it would have on the surrounding lawn, landscaping, ect. He actually showed up a month earlier than he initially predicted and got the job done exactly when he said he would. He added landscape lighting, re-layed sod, and improved drainage all as part of the job. Additionally, part of my irrigation system broke (completely unrelated to the work being done), and Kevin took a morning to fix this so the rest of my grass didn't die during the ongoing hot spell. Also, he has been extremely responsive to questions post project and has checked in several times. I think there is reason he has top ratings by all whom he has done projects for. His professionalism, attention to detail, and vast knowledge of all aspects of a job make him a no brainer for any future work I might have. I could not recommend this company more!

He made the best backyard I have ever seen in my life. He is so reliable and kind and creative. Him and his crew won’t let you down if you say you have a crazy idea.

VDB are landscape experts. Excellent consultation on our large residential project. Wonderful design and great execution. They were nimble in making the design work with the land with really good communication. It’s refreshing when you can actually call a contractor and get in touch immediately nearly every time. Also excellent follow up. They won’t leave you hanging and want the job done right as bad as you do. Highly recommend.

We hired Valley Design Build to completely redo our backyard after a septic system failure, and I can't sing their praises loud enough! From start to finish, the process took under a week, and they gave us everything we wanted and asked for. The workers were very friendly, they showed up when they said they would and got the job done quickly. We got a new water feature, sprinkling system, grass, trees, a patio, and flower beds. The finished yard looks amazing and we couldn't be happier! Thank you!

Saw Shaun and Jenny McBride’s backyard on YouTube and it looks absolutely amazing! Not only fun with a splash pad, trampoline, skate park, dog mansion, it looks so professional sleek and modern not like it was just a few ideas slapped together but very cohesive it’s so cool!

We had a very positive experience with Kevin Linsley and his team at VDB, and we are so pleased with the end result! When we were trying to choose a landscaper, we were impressed with his credentials having graduated from Utah State University with a degree in landscape architecture, and he was able to help us choose the best design for our needs. He completed everything as promised, and he was so fair with his prices. He and his team were so enjoyable to work with, and completely trustworthy. At times I left the house to run an errand, I didn't hesitate to leave the house unlocked in case they needed access to our crawl space. Kevin was so kind to help us lay some leftover sod in other areas of our property that were not in the original agreement, he truly went above and beyond. He is so competent and we are so very glad that we were referred to Valley Design Build, and without hesitation recommend Kevin Linsley and his team to anyone who is looking for an excellent Landscaper!

Kevin and crew were absolutely fantastic. He was exceptional at communicating and making sure that my wife was comfortable with everything that he was doing. We have another project that we will be doing in the fall and he will be the one to do it.

I have never seen a group of people be more punctual take more pride in their work than I did with Valley Design Build believe me if you need anything done give them a call. Our lead guys were Steven and Seth they showed up when they said, took pride in their work and did a fantastic job. If you want a quality job give them a call

Kevin and his crew did an amazing job at designing and building our dream yard. They stuck to their deadlines. Very fair pricing. Their attention to detail is amazing and you can tell by the finished product. VDB makes the process and experience fun and easy. I would recommend using VDB if you want a company that's easy to work with, stands behind their product, and makes your yard look fantastic!

We had Kevin and his crew from VDB finish our back yard last fall. We wanted some very specific things including a waterfall, fire pit, pool and sunken trampoline. We had limited space to work with. His vision put it all together perfectly. We could not be more pleased. They will be there when they say they will and finish on time. Thanks for your honest hard work to make our dreams come true.

Kevin was my hail Mary at finding a landscaper to get my project done this Fall. I found Valley Design Build by chance on the internet and very happy that I did. It was great to work with a company that pays attention to detail and listens to what the client wants. The backyard is no longer a vision in our head but now a reality. There were some issues at the end in getting delivery of our sod from Idaho and Kevin went the extra mile(s) literally and drove to Idaho to pick it up. After a couple of weeks this crew will feel like friends & family.

We loved working with Kevin and his VDB crew. His experience and insights helped guide us to the right design that fit our property our budget and our lifestyle. Kevin was great at explaining the entire process and provided us with updates daily throughout the build. It was exciting to see how quickly the project progressed and our new yard coming to life. We were impressed with how flexible and nimble VDB was when we made a couple of adjustments in the middle of the project! One day when Kevin was building our retaining wall we looked out he window and wondered if we could add a couple of steps. I went outside and told Kevin what we were thinking - that same day Kevin got the material, built in the steps and they looked better than we imagined. I highly recommend Valley Design Build.

Kevin Linsley and his team were fantastic. We were building a new home on a 1/2 acre lot that sloped 25' from front to back, and 10' from side to side. Kevin designed an incredibly creative tiered yard -- wrapped around a pool -- that provides lots of flat playing space for our grandchildren. The landscape design was also modern to match our home design. The installation of the design was also first rate -- sprinkler system, decorative lighting, drainage pits, edging, trees, bushes, and lawn. Kevin and his guys paid attention to all aspects of quality. His pricing was more than competitive -- and he installed to the planned budget. We have enjoyed our yard since its completion 10 weeks ago -- we are thrilled.

Working with Kevin was a pleasure, he worked with us during the design, answering all our questions and offering good suggestions for the local area as far as plant material and rock in the garden beds. Kevin was very good in replying to our calls and emails. The VDB crew started the project on schedule and finished 6 days later, with the results that we could not be more pleased with! All VDB crew members were very professional and all members were good listener.
We felt that this was not just another job to them, but something that they took great pride in, every step of the way. Grading, rock walls, irrigation, final grading, concrete edging, sodding, planting and final cleanup, all A+.
Would highly recommend them!

Kevin and our project lead Josh were nothing but professional. They came out to Park City every morning to complete a large project for us. They personally respond to emails and texts very promptly. Their pricing is very reasonable. This is the second large landscaping project Kevin has done for us and both have been beautiful!!

I highly recommend Kevin and his team. Kevin listened to our requirements, made improvements to the original landscape plans, and gave great recommendations on materials, plantings, etc. They are extremely friendly and easy to work with, and completed the job quickly. We will use them again if the opportunity arises.

This group of people are top notch! I hired them to do a landscape design for me. They did an incredible job making our design both functional and beautiful. We live in a tough climate with super cold temperatures and they worked with local nurseries to select plants that will thrive. Kevin Linsley and Lis Clark are phenomenal!

Good crew. Kevin put together a very nice plan and Justin's crew did a very good job installing it. The few follow up issues, sprinklers plugging up, etc., have been addressed very quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend VDB!
