I recently hired Von Construction for a second time. On this project I did a mid-range upgrade of my kitchen to make it brighter and help it feel bigger as well as to complete a series of minor improvements and repairs around the house. The project manager was prompt throughout the week of work. He has a wide range of skills and excellent background in construction. All the work was performed professionally and to the promised level of excellence--including finishing details and cleanup. I will definitely hire Von Construction for future projects.

Eric and his crew did an excellent job on my roof. His price was more than reasonable and the quality of work was upstanding. They came and did the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves so that all that was left behind was a beautiful new roof. I would highly recommend Von Construction for any job a person needs done. I found Eric to be very professional and honest. I will use Von Construction for all of my future projects as needed.

I'm very happy with the work they did for us. They came back quickly to fix a small problem and made sure that we were satisfied. Von Construction did fabulous work on our kitchen/patio home project! Their communication was clear throughout the whole process. We hired Von Construction for work on our older home, fully aware that older homes can present challenges. What we did not expect was an experience that stretched on for eight months and resulted in widespread issues we have since had to correct ourselves.

Throughout the project, there were significant concerns around workmanship, oversight, and communication. We repeatedly expressed that we wanted higher-quality materials and were willing to pay more, yet the products used did not align with those discussions. In several cases, materials appeared poorly stored and handled — including baseboards left outside in winter conditions for an extended period before being installed.

The work itself caused avoidable damage to walls and surrounding areas that was never repaired. Workspaces were frequently left dirty and disorganized, requiring us to clean up ourselves, and outdoor furniture was damaged during the course of the project without remediation.

Project supervision was inconsistent. Oversight on site was often minimal, and issues we raised were not effectively addressed. We repeatedly asked for grout and tile concerns to be corrected, yet those same tiles are now coming up, requiring further repairs.

Since the project ended, we have had to redo or repair nearly every portion of the work, costing us additional time, labor, and money beyond what we originally paid. What should have been a finished project became an ongoing series of fixes.

This experience was extremely stressful and disruptive, and far from what we expected when hiring a professional contractor. While we understand that older homes require flexibility and problem-solving, we also believe that clear communication, care for a client’s property, and quality execution are baseline expectations. We truly wish our experience had been different, but based on the outcome and the effort required to correct the work, we cannot recommend Von Construction.

Josh is by far the kindest and most thoughtful electrician we’ve ever hired. You can really tell he cares deeply for the needs and safety of his customers. He is very knowledgeable and clear with what needs done, and we were very impressed by his attention to details... he even cares about the aesthetic quality of your wiring!

Reliable, friendly, informative, quality, I highly recommend the Epic team! Have been using Epic for all of my electrical projects the past few years at my home and rental properties. Josh and his team are pros, they've have helped install exterior grounding, rewire and add extra outlets in my garage, and a full kitchen and basement remodel. They're also my go to for handful of properties I manage having helped troubleshoot wiring issues, faulty outlets, resolving issue with an arcing swamp cooler control that kept flipping the breaker, installing can lights, moving outlets and switches, installing fans and fixtures, replacing breakers, etc. Epic always comes with thoughtful ideas and suggestions proving they've been through it all before. Most recently, they went the extra mile to help get my mom at her home with an issue on a hot Saturday afternoon to get her AC back up and running, big hero move, proving they care and understand. Top notch, 11/10, call these guys first!

Josh was able to diagnose and fix the problem with one of our breakers quickly. He had the replacement part in his van and the whole thing took less than 20 minutes. He obviously knows what he is doing. This is his company and he is the only employee. His service was truly EPIC. I definitely would call him again.

Josh was great to deal with. He was reliable and honest and explained everything that had to be done. Our panel had to be replaced and Josh and his apprentice Alex did a fine job. The price was very fair considering the level of work that was carried out.
