David arrived early this morning and was very professional. Everything was fixed in a timely fashion. The spots where he worked were cleaner than when he arrived. I will be using this company moving forward for all my plumbing needs. Thank you!

Unfortunately our recent experience with Luke at Robert W. Speirs Plumbing was negative. They overcharged both labor and material for diagnosing a plumbing leak and replacing the bathtub faucet. When questioned the quality of their work and billing, they chose to hire an attorney to threaten to sue their customer rather than answer directly to the issue.

Luke the technician showed up late to the appointment and took a while to locate the leak from our bathtub pipe. He has gone back to his truck multiple times looking for tools and took a while to come back to the repair site. He was on the phone with his wife during the job. By the end of the first visit, he had opened the bathtub panel and told us exactly what he needed to get from the shop for parts.

He came back the next morning even more late. After figuring out that he had the wrong replacement faucet, he was gone for an hour to get the right faucet. Then when he's finished the job we didn't even know if that addressed the issue.

So we called their office about the experience we had with Luke and the office lady said she will call us back for a resolution before the bill and will likely send a second person to look at the job. What she promised never happened. Instead, we received the bill a few days later and they charged for 4.5 hours of labor and $600 for the replacement faucet and some water supply piping. They did take 25 minutes off the labor billing to account for the calls and trips to the truck. We called the office expressing our dissapointment that they didn't call us back to discuss before billing us.

What's even worse is that instead of discussing this issue, they hired an attorney to threanten us to pay the bill or they will take us to court. The attorney expressed how confident they are in winning the case. He said he will put a lien on my home and kept reminding me how costly this is going to be if I don't pay the bill.

Great, fast and wonderful service. Steve and Isaac hooked up an air compressor and did an amazing job. Steve is all business, knows his stuff and was a pleasure to work with, while Isaac is the apprentice and appears to be on his way to a long plumbing career ! Thanks to Speirs Plumbing !!!

Best plumbing company out there. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs. They showed up on time, did great work, and left the bathroom clean and ready to use. A+

This is regarding Speirs being on time and notifying customers, if they are running late. We’ve been customers for 30 years, the past couple of calls, Speirs has told us they would be here between 9am and noon. They don’t show up and don’t even bother letting you know that they’re running late, until you call. The man I spoke with today, wasn’t even apologetic, until I pressed. Really disappointed in their customer service. It isn’t their plumber that didn’t follow through, it’s the office staff. The plumber that came to replace the water heater was great.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! I was so intimidated by my tankless water heater and all the trouble I’ve had with it, but they truly went above and beyond to help me. After a wonderful experience with Ken, another issue came up and they sent out Ethan—I couldn’t have been more impressed. He was amazing—so kind, professional, and patient. Not only did he fix the issues I was having, but he also took the time to check my vents, which had been a huge concern for me. When he was finished, he explained everything in a way I could actually understand, leaving me comfortable and confident instead of overwhelmed. I’ve now had two excellent experiences with this company, and their customer service is outstanding—friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring. I’m so grateful for the help I received, and I will never go anywhere else for my plumbing needs. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Highly recommend these guys! Especially my plumber by the name of David. I rent my home, but I maintain it also. I called into Speirs for a new kitchen faucet and a whole home run through. Just check everything out. Make sure everything‘s up to spec. This guy was phenomenal. He explained everything to me, why things weren’t working correctly, before he corrected them.

Before I knew it, he had all kinds of new pieces and parts installed. Everything is working tiptop! And everything was installed, clean and tidy. I know it doesn’t matter if the stuff under the sink is perfect, but I appreciate everything being square, level and tidy. There’s nothing like a clean Install!! Nice job Speirs Plumbing! Nice job, David!! I wouldn’t use anybody else!

I had my water heater go out, and of course, it's this time of year. Speirs Plumbing was incredible from start to finish! They responded immediately, and the professionalism - especially from the management and office team - was phenomenal!

I have recently lost my job and asked if they could work with me on a payment plan. Not only did they give me a discount, but they also allowed me to pay in installments. That kind of compassion and flexibility is extremely rare in this industry, and it meant a lot!

I would absolutely recommend them for any size job to anyone needing plumbing help. A tier 1 company with genuine heart and honesty behind their products and service!

I've had these guys come out twice in the last few months. The first time was a great experience, worthy of 5 stars! He took his time, answered all my questions and was super helpful, as well as the apprentice (super impressed with him too). So when it was time for a new water softener, I called them first. I guess I should've requested that original plumber because the plumber they sent was clearly experienced, but left the job a little unfinished. He didn't have the anchors to clamp the pipes to the wall and told me I could just go buy some. He also said they bring two bags of salt to fill it, but later, I realized our new bag of salt was gone and the softener was very low. When I called and asked about the problems with the anchors and salt, I was assured he would've put the two bags in! I was told they would send him back with the anchors - which I appreciated.

But when he came back to do the anchors, I asked about how much salt he put in and he said he didn't have any on the truck, so he just used our bag. So now I need to go buy salt because it's super low, which is very frustrating. And if I called and asked for salt, they might bring it, but that's not the point. The point is that the plumber was fine leaving it unfinished, and that's really disappointing.

Although this experience wasn't great, overall people have been nice, especially the woman who answers the phone. I'm just disappointed in the shortcuts taken on a very expensive job.

I had the BEST experience with Speirs plumbing. I had a faucet leaking in my tub and thought this was a bit more complicated this time. I knew that professional help was the best option and I was right. I was scheduled right away and the appointment was kept and right on time. Ken was amazing. He looked at the situation and explained what we had thought, he was going to have to do some additional alterations with the pipes. He fixed the leak on his first visit so it wouldn't be dripping while we waited for items. Within the week he was back and handled the additional changes. He chose great parts and I now have a wonderful shower back as well. He was kind, professional and had my best interest front and center. I can't say thank you enough!!

After several frustrating experiences with unreliable and untrustworthy plumbers, working with Robert W. Speirs Plumbing was a breath of fresh air. From start to finish, we received true 5-star service.

Our service technician was knowledgeable, professional, and efficiently fixed multiple issues for us. He also took the time to offer thoughtful recommendations on other plumbing concerns we were having, which we really appreciated.

There’s a reason this company has been in business for so long — their quality service, expertise, and integrity truly stand out. We wouldn’t hesitate to call them again and highly recommend them.

I appreciated how quickly they could come when our water heater went out. Carter gave me a bid and several options. He could even tell me how much we paid for the last water heater Knighton replaced for us. He was respectful and they cleaned up when they were finished. Thank you.

Our water heater failed and within 12 hours we had a new one professionally installed by Knighton Plumbing. The technicians were very courteous of our home and put down a floor covering from the front door to the basement where the water heater was installed. Excellent, quick service.

Woke up to a patch of wet carpet in the basement on a Sunday morning, and discovered a leaking water heater that had all the signs it was about to fail/explode.

A family member referred us to Knighton Plumbing and the water heater was fixed by the time we went to bed that same night!

Great service, prompt, and we were happy they were willing to do the repair on a Sunday evening no less. Great company.

I've used Knighton plumbing repeatedly and had a very good experience with every technician. Last two times I had to have a new water heater installed and plumbing leak repair, Antony was very professional, and polite. I never had any issues after the install or leak repair, his work was fast and clean. Thank you!

I called in the morning, not expecting same-day service, but they were able to fit me in with a job of an unknown time frame and within hours they were at my home starting the job and did a stellar and very professional job. Additionally, they were able to speak with the insurance agent very professionally, even though the insurance was not willing to take on my claim.
Finally, with such a large job, I felt like the price was very competitive and fair
I would definitely recommend this company and use them again for any plumbing needs.

Knighton Plumbing was great to work with from the first phone call through the completion of the installation of the water heater tank. Staff was very helpful when I called and it was very easy to make an appointment for that day. They called me back to confirm the time and sent a courtesy text to let me know when the technician would arrive. Jason was very informative and took the time to answer all of our questions. He was very polite and made sure everything was working correctly before he left. Jason also told us several times that Knighton Plumbing wanted us to be 100% satisfied and to call them with any questions.

2023 update: I needed help from Knighton once again for a water leak coming from inside my walls. As before, they responded within a few hours, got the process started, and had the leak repaired and my water back on the same day. Carter Knighton took great care of us.

They are a great company! They know what they are doing and don't try to rip you off, like some other companies I've dealt with.

I had a water leak on my main culinary valve on Saturday, with wet carpet and sheetrock, and needed immediate help! I called Knighton Plumbing, and within less than an hour, a technician was at my house and took care of the repair efficiently and quickly. Very happy with the service!

I had Knighton plumbing come out and look at an issue with our water heater and water softener. We decided to purchase a new and upgraded quality water softener which was installed same day. The issue with the water heater was a bit odd. It would randomly make a whining noise but it was very hard to determine where the sound was coming from. We thought we had the issue fixed but that night the problem came back. Knighton plumbing came back out and was very helpful in trying to help as soon as they could. This attempt appears to have solved the problem. They were always informative with scheduling/arrival and were extremely helpful. I would recommend them for other plumbing needs.
