Jackson installed water, sewer and PI laterals on a new development for me and did a great job at a reasonable price. He was easy to work with and stayed on schedule.

Had sprinklers installed, broke that month and it took forever to have him come out .He wouldn't respond to my messages. Broke our fence and never came back to patch it. Dont waiste your time. They dont do a good job and there flacky. Please find someone else who is professional and does good work. They were supposed to take off a $100 then patch the fence but he never came back to patch it.

They were kind, quick and very knowledgeable. They also came back on to turn on my sprinklers because I couldn’t figure it out!! 🤣

They got everything replaced and taken care of quickly!!!

Their rates are very reasonable too!!

We had an emergency sprinkler issue and Jackson came out and fixed it right away. He then fixed the root problem and improved our sprinklers. Great service! Thank you so much!

Jackson, so sorry it has come to this. We've tried getting in touch with you to get our shovel and broom back but there's been no response for over two months. The following however, are a list of things that I think might be worth examining in order to help elevate your business practices.
1. Do not offer your potential clients a discount at Thrive and then not follow through. I was not expecting a discount but you offered and then backed down. I understand you get a cut from the plants we buy and was expecting to pay full price until you made the offer. Don't make offers you can't meet.
2. Do show up when you say you are going to, or make a timely effort to reschedule. You booked us a few weeks out and the morning of installation called and said you were running late. Running late turned out to be two days. later.
3. There was an error when ordering the right amount of rock. That's fine, I understand. But it was weeks of saying you'd be back "tomorrow" to finish before tomorrow actually came.
4. When you back into someones fence you should address it right away. I watched you back into my fence and waited a couple of days for you to bring it to my attention before I finally did, which begs the question, were you ever going to tell me? What would have happened if I didn't see that happen?
5. The trees I wanted were never installed. I was told multiple times they'd be installed "tomorrow" but after almost a month I figured I'd do it myself.
6. When your crew accidentally takes off with our yard tools, please return them in a timely manner. We've been ghosted now for months.
7. Please advise your crew to notify the homeowner if they break a water line so they can adjust the watering schedule. Our main drip line was severed during rock installation and it wasn't mentioned to us and I didn't know until the next morning when I looked outside and saw a river of water flowing through my flowerbeds.

*I truly want to see you succeed in your business, but this experience was rough and I cannot in good conscience recommend you to anyone at this point. The rock installation looks very nice and we are happy with the finished product but getting there was really frustrating.

This company does quality work for pretty much all your needs. Jackson and his company is a amazing group to work with, on time, good execution , driven and always does what’s best for the customer and what your looking for. J&H is without a doubt top notch

J&H was responsive to my voice mail and my texts. Price was competitive. Delivery was on time. The pile of gravel was dumped in a neat pile next to my curb, and not a single rock poured onto the lawn which I really appreciated.

Received a quick professional response. Bid price was reasonable. Service was done on time and quickly. I will recommend J & H landscape to my neighbors and family . They repaired a broken sprinkler filter at the main box of the irrigation water line.

JJ shoed up on time. He aerated and overseeded my lawn. Great price and excellent work. W will use him for other areas of our property maintenance.

We called several companies in an attempt to repair our sprinkling system, and J&H was first to respond. Jackson came out the next day, repaired everything quickly. He was very professional and had great communication!

I am a art teacher at a public elementary school. I was looking for 600 rocks for my students to paint. I called several local nurseries and landscaping companies in my search. I was so impressed with J&H!!! Jackson Hinckley (the owner) called me back immediately and quickly sent pictures of my options. I texted back with a selection of rock and when I asked for the pricing he asked me to call him back. I was shocked when I called him and he explained he would like to donate the rocks since I was a teacher. This was a very different experience compared to the other companies I called. The others were very vague as to what type of rocks they could even offer and what the pricing would be quoting anything from $99-$200 per yard (however many rocks that even is). I did not even ask for a discount. Jackson’s offer came simply out of the goodness of his heart! It is so clear that J&H is a company that can be trusted and takes care of their customers. I had 600+ rocks within a few short hours. He had someone meet me to load the buckets and then load them into my car. Thank you is not enough!!! Care like this is extremely rare these days. I’m forever a giant fan of J&H!!!!!!!!!

They installed a sprinkler system in our backyard. It was priced very reasonably and we got booked on the week we wanted it done. They were on time and got our entire backyard done in one day. After install, Jackson was very helpful with some minor issues that came up.

We had some issues with our sprinklers last year, and after calling 3 companies to come look at the problem, Jackson came the next day and fixed it right on the spot! I was so impressed, that I had them come do a lot of spring yard work this year. They showed up exactly when they said, all of his employees worked hard until the job was finished. They listened to what I wanted done even mid-job. I appreciate their professionalism, and desire to do things right! I will be using them for all of my landscape needs, a pleasure to work with!

I’m a General Contractor, Only reason we used him was for his timeline which we regret. terrible plumber, expensive and does poor work. Told me he couldnt move a drain he bid to move once he already started the project and sent me a video explaining why and said that we would essentially have to rip up the entire concrete slab of a bathroom(I had other plumbers check it out and it was pretty clear he didn’t know what he was doing). He also installed a shower drain that was extremely off level, it looked so bad. Luckily our tile guy caught it. Instead of doing it right the first time or coming back the next day to fix such a blatant mistake he headed off to lake Powell and we had to set our tile guy back 4 days so he could return from his trip and get it fixed. Extremely disappointed, couldn’t provide me licensing information and it was an absolute wild goose chase, even had to call dopl to verify. He told me he was a journeyman plumber but is only had an apprentice license. Demands to be paid and will not hesitate to threaten a lien so make sure you cover your bases with this guy. if you’re going to hire him, you better know your way around construction or hire someone else to come check his work.

We used j&h to do a yard and sprinkler install and could not be happier. He was ahead of schedule and went above our expectations. We couldn’t be happier and so glad we chose them to do our install! We will definitely recommend j&h to friends and family.

Jackson and his crew did great work with our concrete patio & front steps! He was very easy to communicate with, not pushy, and very fair. We plan to use him for future projects as well.

Jackson and his crew did a phenomenal job on our back yard. I had a vision and they brought it to life. We had them do a retaining wall, grading, underground trampoline, sprinkler system, and sod. They met deadlines, communication was on point, and the whole crew was friendly. I've got a few neighbors and friends I've referred them to as well. Happy I went with J&H.

Jackson did a great job fixing a leaking stop and waste valve. He showed up on time and communicated with me throughout the process. If you need sprinkler work done, make your first call to him. 5 STARS

Jackson is amazing to work with. I have been doing design work for over 30 years and have worked with a myriad of contractors. He is one of the good ones. Love working with this guy.
