Constraction reviews in Midvale, Utah

We contracted with 5 Star to remove and replace our old tub and shower with a new walk in shower. Jose and Francisco were our installers both of whom exercised a high level of care and caution during the removal of the old tub, tile and fixtures and the subsequent installation of the new shower and fixtures, walls and shower doors. We are extremely pleased with the outcome of their work . Definitely 5 Star quality in every way. The entire 5 star team:
David (Design Consultant)
Zach (Project Manager)
Kinzey (Project Coordinator)
Kiley (Project Coordinator)
need to be given a shout out here as well for their clear and concise attention to the details of our project i.e., the tasks of ordering and kitting of our project, keeping things on schedule and their availability for taking our questions and scheduling assurances.
We highly recommend 5 Star Kitchen and Bath to anyone who is considering a similar project. -
Dave has been awesome to work with. He went above and beyond helping us figure out our future kitchen and was always happy to answer questions and talk through any concerns. Super friendly, easy to work with, and really knows his stuff.

We had a great experience start to finish with 5 star. They communicated well and went out of their way to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. From the design consultant (Brandon), Kinzey the project coordinator, to the installer's (Lazaro, Bredy H, and the others that I don't have their names) everyone stepped up and took care of what needed to be done. Zach the project manager came by to ensure that everything was done the way we envisioned. Overall we are very happy we selected this company to redo our bathroom.

We would absolutely recommend 5-star Kitchen and Bath for your next bathroom or kitchen project. Brandon was professional and flexible with our needs to help us get to a price-point we wanted. Zach was efficient with his measurements and with getting us on the schedule quickly. And the crew that did the work was beyond amazing. Danny Banuelos and Jose Villa were the main workers on this project, and were timely and SO NICE throughout the week. At the end of each working day I was always so impressed with how well they cleaned up, I really appreciated that. Enrique Banuelos and Lazaro Banuelos were also working with Danny and Jose during the week, and those two did a great job as well and we were grateful to have them! We really appreciated the finishing touch work after the glass shower was installed, and love our updated bathroom so much!

Your team consisting of Brandon (Design Consultant), Zach (Project Manager) (Kinzey (Project Coordinator), Jose (Installer), Francisco (Installer) Enrique (Installer), Hugo (Installer), Ethan (Installer) and Gary (installer) all worked together as a team to get our new jacuzzi tub installed in our bathroom in the basement and make some changes to the shower in the master bath. My wife and I were very happy with the team effort and the way that we kept informed during the construction. I must say that keeping our home clean was a major part of the construction and we commend everyone for the outstanding work and cleanup as the days went by. Also, communication was "top notch". Kinzey is to be commended for her work and follow-up along with Zack who came out to make sure that everything fit and make changes where necessary.
I want especially thank Jose and Francisco (the primary installers who were here every day for five days) for their outstanding attention to detail in every way and every day. They were determined to make sure everything perfect. Their communication skills were "above and beyond".
Additionally, Ethan and his father Gary who came to install the hand rails were also very friendly and professional. Every Five star employee we have met is top notch.
If you need to use us for a referral in the future we are more than willing to tell anyone how wonderful your company is to work with.
I will send some photos with my cell phone. Due to my limited knowledge of technology I do not know how to include them as part of this document. -
Just had new cabinets and counter put in and love them
Kylie in the office was super! Daily updates and there was a hiccup the day she was not there, she was definitely missed.
Brady and Hugo were excellent during the demo and the completion work after the install. The electrician was great.
The team from Brazil was meticulous, clean and precise during the install.
I would give them 5 stars on the finished product and the labor during the project, however there were too many hiccups during the process for an overall 5 stars. A pricing error of nearly 15% after the contract was signed, to confusion on what could be done and what couldn't, to things that were overlooked during the planning process and an empty commitment from our salesperson, I could not give the whole process 5 stars.
Happy with the end result and love the new kitchen and more importantly the wife loves it !! -
Here are a couple of before pics and after. I am very happy with my new kitchen and it's really opened up my condo. Kylie was excellent with keeping me informed. Shout out to Lazaro, Breyden, Ethan, Gary, Brady, Hugo and Francisco who did excellent work. There were a few hiccups along the way in terms in communication between different crews, and some patch up work that was needed, but Donny was super responsive. Thanks to Kim for helping me design my new kitchen and giving me the information I needed to prepare for the remodel.

My wife and I are approaching our senior years and recently began exploring a kitchen remodel, something we had never done before. As first-time remodelers, we were understandably nervous about the process, costs, and the decisions ahead.
David “Dave” Adamson from 5 Star Kitchen & Bath arrived promptly for our scheduled appointment and immediately put us at ease through his friendliness and not being pushy. He asked thoughtful, insightful questions. Many questions we hadn’t even considered or would have known to think about. He took the time to truly understand our vision. After about 30 minutes of discussion, we expected to move forward with an estimate.
Instead, Dave did something that absolutely stunned us.
Although he said he would be happy to have 5 Star handle the project, he honestly told us that, based on our goals and budget, we might be better served going in a different direction. He even recommended where we should look. It was clear he was prioritizing our financial well-being over making a sale. Dave's level of integrity is rare amongst salesman. We have been through a lot of them with our remodeling projects.
What impressed us even more was what happened next. After we decided to follow his advice, Dave stayed an additional 30 minutes to educate us about the remodeling process, potential pitfalls, and how to protect ourselves so we could have the best possible experience. He had nothing to gain. Dave simply wanted to make sure we were informed and confident moving forward.
In all our years of doing business, we have never encountered this level of honesty and professionalism. Dave’s integrity speaks volumes about the values at 5 Star Kitchen & Bath. Because of this experience, we will recommend 5 Star without hesitation to anyone considering a custom kitchen remodel. Businesses built on trust deserve to be recognized, and even though we went in a different direction, we felt people NEEDED to know of this incredible honest experience. Thank you, Dave. -
5 Star Kitchen and Bath was refreshing to work with. The communication from the office staff, especially Kylie was appreciated. I always knew the status of my kitchen project from before it began to as it was wrapping up. David Adamson was an amazing salesperson and built trust and rapport immediately. Donnie was great at managing the project and never seemed to mind my texts with questions and concerns. While I didn't get as much interaction with the contractors (Brady, Hugo, Jose, Francisco, Gary and Ethan) they seemed to be respectful of my home. They left it clean and tidy every night they left. It was a tough job, but they worked hard to make my new kitchen beautiful. I was dissatisfied with a seam in my new quartz countertops, but that was corrected quickly. Thank you Andrew. The entire project ran so smoothly. While it was a week late starting because of another job, the communication about that was clear and understandable. There were a few hiccups, but overall, a great experience. It was worth the large investment and I will hire 5 Star again when I am ready for bathroom remodels.

Even though they told me the project would take two days, Jose and Elvis, the installers worked late into the evening to finish it in one day. They did a great job and kept me informed as they worked and cleaned up thoroughly before they left.
I had more contact with Kensey, the project manager who was very professional, kind and patient when it came to the loan application.
What was written was different from what I understood and she kept working with me until we worked things out.
I loved their professionalism and I highly recommend this company. -
5 Star was prompt and met the timeline we requested. Kim helped us determine and select appropriate materials with price in mind. Kinzey, project coordinator, help us keep track of timelines and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Their workers, Zach Project manager, Lazaro Installer, Bredy another installer, Rodrigo and Delaney were efficient and courteous. Great follow-up to make sure the work was satisfactory which it was. Great customer service!

We had 5 Star do a full bathroom remodel for us and are very pleased with the results. It was a near full tear down of the old bathroom and involved installing a new bath, moving the toilet and shower, replacing countertops, sinks and fixtures, repiping, reflooring, tiling and rebuilding walls. I did some minimal rewiring and repainted. My wife and I are happy with the results. It is beautiful. At the beginning of the project we received many bids for the work and chose 5-Star because they were able to do everything we wanted. Also, Kim, the design consultant, gave us ideas, product options and information that moved us beyond our original ideas to the ideal bathroom that fit the space and look we had in mind for our old house. My only reservation was that it took about 4 1/2 months from signing the contract to final installation of the shower walls. When work started it took about a 6 weeks until completion. To be fair, there was A LOT of work and the glass walls could not be measured and ordered until most of the work was finished. My wife and I have no regrets unless we think about how we should have done this several years ago.
Throughout the process, Kinsey (Project Coordinator) called at least every week to apprise us of start dates, work schedules, financing options and more. The installers were careful to cover carpets where they had to travel, kept dirt and dust to a minimum, and removed all construction debris. They were polite and professional. Zach (Project Manager)
Jose (Installer) Brady P (Installer)
Elvis (Installer) Lazaro (Installer) Hugo (Installer)
Bredy H (Installer) Enrique (Installer) -

Thank you -
This is our 2nd project with the bathroom. The last 4 pictures are the recent ones. We had a shower door added and the pony wall we added the tile on the sides and the top. It looks so nice and we are very pleased with the work that Brady did with the wall. Also, Enrique and Hugo did a wonderful job with the Shower door.
David Adamson came out and did the estimate and Zach did the walk through to make sure the measurements were correct.
Thank you Kinzie for keeping us up to date on the project completion. We really are pleased with 5 Star Kitchen and Bath -
We just had 5 Star Kitchen and Bath install a new shower/tub in our rental this week. The design person did a great job and it was a pretty painless process. It did take them a little longer to get started on the project than we had hoped. Kinsey kept me updated on when the install would begin. They were flexible with rescheduling also. The installers, Lazano and Bredy were great to work with! They patiently answered all my questions and were great to ask me how high I wanted the shower head to be placed and where the towel bar should be relocated. They were on time and all the finish work was done with care and concern for the customer. I highly recommend them! 😊

I recently had my bathroom remodeled by 5 Star Kitchen and Bath, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, respectful of my home, and committed to delivering quality work. Lazaro, Brady, Jose, Francisco, Enrique, and Hugo were all incredible—hardworking, detail-oriented, and always kept the worksite clean and organized throughout the entire project. They even made sure to do a full cleanup once the job was complete, which I really appreciated.
Like with any major renovation, there were a few hiccups and communication issues along the way, but what really stood out was how quickly those were addressed and improved upon. Zach stepped in, took the reins, and not only showed up to the worksite personally, but also offered real, thoughtful solutions and suggestions that enhanced the project—without ever making it feel like a sales pitch or trying to upsell me.
A big thank you to Kenzie for her consistent communication and weekly updates. Even during quieter periods, she kept me informed and reassured, making sure I never felt like my project was an afterthought.
Also, thank you to Brandon for initially coming out, helping with the design, and walking me through the financial side of the project before we even got started. His guidance at the beginning really helped set the tone for a smooth process and made me feel confident moving forward.
Overall, I highly recommend 5 Star Kitchen and Bath. The name says it all—five stars across the board!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with 5 Star Kitchen and Bath! Alex took the time to respectfully come back out and check on how everything was going with the work performed for us, which truly meant a lot. It showed genuine care and pride in the quality of their work. Alex also kindly asked if it was okay to use my name when speaking to others about our project, which I really appreciated — and of course, I agreed. That level of respect and professionalism speaks volumes.
Thank you so much for everything! And I have to say, Kenzie is an absolute star — now more than ever. Her customer service has been outstanding, and she’s been incredibly helpful in resolving any questions or concerns whenever they arise. It’s rare to find a team so committed to their customers from start to finish. Highly recommend! -
