These guys did amazing! I was first really impressed with Rob's communication through the whole day. He was honest and worked with me to make sure we were happy with their work. The Deng somehow managed to make all our stuff seem like it really wasn't that much with how he got it all in the truck. It was quite impressive. He was super friendly with my 3 year old son when he was around. He was a great presence to be by. Then last but not least Alec was like glue guy who kept the ball rolling on all terms. He knew where everything went and was there to support everyone as they worked on their project. You can just tell he is a smart guy.

These guys managed to disassemble our furniture, work with our odd demands, and maintain a positive attitude the whole time. I can't recommend them enough and when the time comes to move again they will be the first people we call!

I cannot say enough good things about the John Volken Academy moving team. Four young men handled a heavy-duty two-bedroom move from a 5th-floor downtown condo to a remote new-build development over an hour away, and they were exceptional from start to finish.

They were motivated, professional, energetic, strong, careful, and ethical—everything you hope for and rarely get all in one crew. Beds and tables were disassembled and perfectly reassembled, everything was carefully wrapped, and they took extra care with fragile artwork and delicate items. Nothing rushed, nothing careless.

What truly stood out was their character: polite, trustworthy, respectful of the home, and clearly proud of their work. They worked as a real team, communicated well, and handled challenges calmly and thoughtfully. The pricing was extremely affordable, and knowing that their tips are shared equally made the experience feel even better—ethical and fair all around.

This was not just a move—it was a reminder that integrity and hard work still exist. I would 100% recommend John Volken Academy movers to anyone and would hire them again without hesitation.

We’ve been in our home for 37 years so we didn’t have much experience with movers. We’d heard good things about this moving company so we wanted to try them out for our one and only moving job (we hope). Moving is awful but Casey Wasden, J Lee, Luka Visic, Shawnte Walker, Ricky Archuleta (who happened to have his birthday on our moving day), and Carlos Herrera did an awesome job. J Lee had to get swapped out with Carlos because he cut his finger so he’s not in the picture. We had a lot of stuff! They worked so hard and were conscientious, polite, positive - though they had to be exhausted by the end, and the hardest workers we’ve ever seen. Everything arrived looking great! Thanks again guys for a great job!

This will be the biggest ball drop with the hugest apology ever to ever, ever, ever exist on my behalf. When this picture was taken I was in desperate need of help and I was so fortunate to get these men to help me with such an overwhelming and impossible task at hand but these men did not hesitate and worked so hard to get this job accomplished and I was given such peace in what seemed to be a hopeless situation. They worked in the dark, in the rain and the cold. I heard their touching stories and it touched my heart to have them in my presence. That night was crazy and I lost their names and I have their Google comment all but ready to be sent and my phones battery died. Life never got so far ahead of me than that year after this night but I never forgot their team work and work ethics. I am so glad I have this picture at least and I pray all of them know how very very proud and pleased with everything they did for me and my family. Words can’t express my gratitude and my appreciation. Please accept my apologies guys and please JVA give these men a huge shout out for me, this post is only almost a year old in the making and my name recall is horrible but their hard work and team work was outstanding!! The biggest thing by far that stood out was their humanity and willingness to help me when I felt so helpless in a what I thought was a hopeless situation. These men gave me light in literally in the darkest hours. Thank you is nearly not even close to my gratitude I have for you men.

Anyone looking for not only top notch movers but a way to help good people, look no further. John Volken Academy Movers were recommended to me by multiple family friends and for good reason. I was fortunate to have crew lead Casey, along with his three man team; Gilberto, Shawnte, and John.

The experience was nothing but excellent from start to finish. They showed up early to ensure that boxes were already moving at the appointment start and not just arriving on site. They were efficient and communicated to me throughout the move to make sure I got everything I needed and wanted.

By the end of the 6 hour job Casey and his crew were literally still running to make sure no time was wasted. This job involved disassembling multiple furniture pieces, including a treadmill, and reassembling at the new site.

They handled everything with care regardless if it was labeled "fragile" or not. However, the best part of the process was simply watching this team work. Their communication and teamwork was a thing of beauty and it was an honor to be a part of it. To Casey and his crew, this wasn't just a job it was an opportunity. You won't ever see a moving team more passionate about what they are doing. These guys were everything you want in movers, respectful, careful, friendly, and efficient. Anthony was a great crew lead. And a heartfelt thanks to Roger, Craig, Juan, Eloy, and Jake. We will definitely use these guys again if we ever need movers.

Used these guys again with superb results. This time Luka, Isadore, Jared, and Jeffery packed a garage full of stuff and loaded it into our trailer. They did a great job and I’ve scheduled another move for some furniture later this week.

This was my first time using movers for a move and they set the bar really high. My brother is in the academy and I was lucky enough to get him on my team for the move. They showed up, introduced themselves, and I told them what we needed to move and then they got right to work. They wrap all furniture in plastic and tvs in blanket things and were super careful. They were insanely fast, the entire move only took 4 hours. They each knew their strengths, like they had one guy in the truck arranging boxes and furniture like a Tetris pro(Shawnte). And the team lead (Jaiden) directed like a champ. It was fun to hear him call out phrases like “dosey doe” and watch the guys immediately turn and do the move. His guys listened to his every direction closely and quickly. The other guys (J Lee and Carlos) were hard workers as well. They told us their stories at the end and it was really touching to hear and we’re so proud of them all. Thanks guys:)

We hired this moving company based on the recommendation of our realtor. We are so happy we hired them! Each of the six movers had such a great work ethic and unique life experience they shared during the move. Casey Wasden was the lead and was a great example of a leader to each. Gilberto George, Ethan Medver, Shawnte Walker, Ricky Archuleta, and Roger Landis worked hard all day and everything was perfect in the move. No damage and great communication throughout. I cannot recommend them enough!!! Dylan and his team (Isidore, Gilberto and Deng) packed everything carefully and efficiently, moved it all without any issues, and placed every item in the correct room exactly where it belonged. The entire process felt organized and stress-free.

Toppee & Daniel are AMAZING!!! I thrifted a crescent shaped couch (all one part) and I was a little nervous about getting it inside my apartment. HOWEVER these two climbed 4 flights of stairs with no damage done to the couch or the apartment complex, and they did this in less than an hour. Also would like to add that having two men inside your apartment can make any single female feel a little nervous but they were so respectful, professional and sweet! 100% would recommend.
