Great service. The tech came in and looked at our water heater and quickly figured out what was wrong with it. The whole experience was stress free, the tech was honest and friendly. I would call them back for any issues going forward.

Mason saved us from our DIY sink install. The company was fast and efficient. We had to call them back when we realized that there was a leak from an area where WE did an install incorrectly. Mason was good natured about it, came quickly, and fixed the problem. He also made sure everything was working before he left.

This is the second time we've called MBP for service, and we wouldn't have called anyone else for this latest service call. Their team members have always been courteous, attentive, patient and knowledgeable with questions, and conscientious not only re: the work the perform, but also the space they are working in. Plumbers are the unsung heroes that service our homes. The power goes out, I can still have a snack from the pantry or make a PB&j. I can light candles, have a shower, and brush my teeth. But when the water stops draining, or starts flowing where it shouldn't, or--in our case the sewer line backs up-- all of a sudden EVERYTHING changes in a home. Can't bathe, wash clothes, wash dishes-- GO TO THE BATHROOM PEOPLE-- without the water backing up more than it already has. That's when its real, and this company is on time, calm, patient and persistent. Excellent communication, excellent service, fair prices. Call them!!

He was prompt friendly and polite. Very helpful. My issues was an easy fix so he only charged for the dispatch cost. I appreciate his kindness.

Prompt, friendly service at a reasonable price. The plumber was knowledgeable, friendly, and double-checked washing machine valve replacement and installation was to our satisfaction. Upgraded our kitchen sink valves as well. Highly recommend!

Top notch company here - I will never use anyone else. They are prompt with visits and when they encountered an issue that was rough to solve the owner even came to help problem solve. Workers damaged our water main and it all worked out eventually, but the staff at Mike Bachman Plumbing is who really helped most in getting us in the right direction. Our bill was reasonable (and thankfully reimbursed by the workers!) and on par with expectation. We are so grateful for their help

I just had a great experience with Bachman's services. Had an Ogden tenant report a broken shower valve with the water left running. Called in an emergency, after-hours call-out and they were on-site fast, and with everything fixed in under two hours after calling them. I've added them to my preferred vendors list for future use. Very happy with the service and the cost.

Great company. Had a basement water drain issue during the weekend and they were to schedule on the start of the week and able to resolved our issue and repaired to hopefully not have the same issue in the future. Will continue using their services.

Called late Monday afternoon for a shower issue. Got an appointment for the next day. Stephan arrived promptly at 9:30. Diagnosed the problem, gave us our options and pricing. He then fixed the issue in less than 10 minutes. Because he was able to make an easy repair, he then gave us a discount for the job. Highly recommend,!

The plumber who came out was polite, pleasant, and very professional—he took the time to do the job right and left everything clean and working perfectly. The total cost was $800, which felt very fair for the quality of work and service we received. Mike Bachman Plumbing has been handling all my plumbing needs since I bought my home 10 years ago. This visit he found and repaired a shower leak, installed a new water softener and pressure valve, and flushed our tankless hot water heater. Our water pressure problems and 100% better and everything is working perfect. He is honest, fair, efficient, knowledgeable, and explains everything in detail. Plumber arrived in good time and removed failed water heater, upgraded existing plumbing and installed new water heater, which he secured correctly. He explained how the new heater works and what to do if we have trouble. Presently we have hot water and he took old heater and left no mess. Very professionally done job.

Mike Bachman plumbing came to add some copper plumbing for me to add a water softener system to my home. They showed up on time, listened to what I needed, gave me an upfront accurate quote, and did a great job quickly. They also provided a 1 year warranty on the work they did. I have used Bachman plumbing in the past and I will continue to use them. Incredible service! I am happy with the work they did on my bathroom remodel. It was a long process. Not their fault. This had to be done in stages, so that was expected. But they sure made it as easy as possible. The plumbers assigned to my job, Brandon and Cameron were excellent. They walked me through everything. Stopped and asked questions when needed. I called in with questions and Brandon would get back to me quickly. They were awesome! And even in the end, during clean-up they broke down boxes which they did not have to do. Those little things make a difference.

I can't end my review without a shout-out to the office staff. I spoke with Cathy and Jennifer several times. They were kind, friendly, and professional. They were very helpful. Even the "how can we make you smile" greeting would get me. It may be a tad corny, but it made me smile.

Made an appointment to repair leak from bottom of toilet. Very pleasant service man arrived on time. We were unable to demonstrate the leak! He examined the base of the toilet where we had observed water leakage for the past several days. But no trace of water leak could be detected. Therefore no attempt to perform any repair. The $79 service charge seemed a bit high, considering that he was only in our house about 20 minutes. But he was very pleasant and courteous and we have no criticism of him. I imagine that a service charge of $79 is probably pretty standard these days.

So happy with the service I received! Dispatch was able to come give an estimate and do the work on the same day I called. She worked to keep the cost down and affordable, they both were so friendly, and they explained everything they were doing. I would highly recommend Mike Bachman and I will use them again for any future needs.

We were experiencing an issue with our four year old tankless water heater. The code said it had a venting issue. Before reaching out to a company, I performed some simple tasks to ensure proper venting, but the problem persisted. We would still get hot water; the unit would shutdown/reset intermittently and water would go cold. An annoyance, but still needed to be rectified.

As I was looking for a company to call to look at the water heater, I didn’t want to use a “jack of all trades” company due to poor experiences with them professionally. They seemed to be more interested in the upsell than just performing the needed task and preying on the vulnerabilities of customers.

When I came across Mike Bachman Plumbing I was excited to see that not only were they just plumbers, but they also specialized in tankless water heaters. I called dispatch who was very friendly. She informed me of the dispatch price and that if the tech needed to do any work that it would be discussed at the appointment. I was also able to secure a next day appointment.

I was out of town so my wife was taking care of the appointment. The tech happened to come while she was gone picking up one of our children from school so my older child let the tech in to get started. Shortly after the arrival, I received a phone call from the tech explaining that the dispatch fee was in addition to another fee that was based on the presumed difficulty in troubleshooting the unit. This added about three times the dispatch fee and the tech would not touch the unit until agreement to make this payment was made. Shortly into the conversation my wife returned home and agreed feeling a little trapped since he was already there.

The unit was not a brand that this company installs and the tech was up front that he wasn’t familiar with it. He spent the next hour and a half or so performing some of the same simple tasks that I had already done among others and talking on the phone and seeming generally unsure of what to do with the unit.

Once, he finished with what he felt like he could do, he indicated he would need to call the manufacturer on a different date and that would cost an hourly rate that may or may not resolve the issue or we could have them install a new tankless water heater. The tech also told us the unit was junk anyway and a new unit would be advisable.

Upon the tech leaving I was left with a water heater that now wasn’t working at all with no hope of getting it working, a much larger than expected bill, and a quote for a new unit. I was at a loss for where to go next. I am a fairly mechanical individual so I thought maybe I can replace the unit myself. I researched the water heater they wanted to put in and found it to be a third of what they were going to charge for install. At that point I knew I wasn’t going to use them for installation because they had just turned it the “jack of all trades” type of company and wanted to upsell me.

In the end I would never recommend Mike Bachman plumbing due to misleading house call fees, lack of knowledge unless it is familiar equipment, and preying on vulnerabilities of customers.

*Update: No call yesterday for anyone who may have been wondering.

**Update: I did receive a call the next day and talked with Vic. I explained my experience as described above and he was very nice and apologetic. He worked to make things as right as possible. Doesn’t change what happened, but I can appreciate the integrity of a company willing to own mistakes and strive to make things right for the customer.

Great prices, on time, easy to get ahold of. Did fast work, and was very respectful.
