Absolutely amazing experience. Very professional and responsive. Communication was very fluid throughout the project. Whenever we expressed issues or concerns, Franco was very quick to respond and address/fix things.

Maria was the first one onsite to get me an accurate bid when i first reached out them. I had a fully-built proposal before I even heard a response from other landscaping companies.

Marbella just completed our backyard project and did an amazing job. They were a great price, completed the project on time, and were extremely professional. They had great communication and were super accommodating when my husband and I made changes to our original plan. I highly recommend Marbella!!

Marbella was great at helping our vision come to life. Maria was our representative and she came out several times to review our design, she walked the property with us and left us with samples of rock and mulch when we needed them. We were very happy with her. We were also impressed that our project was able to get started after just a few weeks of signing. When the project started it looked like a mess but after each day of work the crew swept, organized and cleaned everything up. My wife and I were very happy with the crew. There was a language barrier which made it difficult to communicate at times but when the supervisor came out he was able to relay our concerns over and our request were executed professionally. Once our yard was completed we were happy with 90% of the project however there were a few things that needed to be modified. For example we were having some flooding issues on a few parts of the yard. One was due to a faulty sprinkler head and the other needed a drain installed. After these two concerns were brought up to marbella they sent out a crew to fix them. The crew also went above and beyond and checked and readjusted all of the other sprinkler heads to make sure everything was perfect.

They finished our project several weeks ago and everything is still looking really good. Yesterday we got our fence installed by another contractor and Marbella is back making some minor adjustments to a few of the sprinkler heads and their placements. Nothing due to their error but they are happy and willing to help us out and once again make it perfect. We appreciate their hard work and services especially when we can be pretty particular. We look forward to having them back out in the spring to do our planting for us.

Easy to work with. Clear understanding of project ideation and scope prior to engagement. Great pricing and timing for completion, we needed it done quickly yet effectively. Over delivered in irrigation, weed prevention, stump removal and overall xeriscape. Delivered on time and the team was flexible for small changes, additions and ideas. You would be silly not to ask them for their bid. Cleaned up and disappeared to leave a tranquil and vibrant landscape.

Marabella Landscaping did some yard work for me over two years ago. They contend I still owe them for services. I try to keep accurate payment histories and I assert I owe them nothing.

Marbella was able to put into reality my wife's and I vision of what we wanted our yard to look like. They communicated clearly as issues arose and were able to perform last minute tasks that were asked of them.

Notes on this. I've worked landscaping for a few years as my father is a retired landscaper of 40 years. We know good work when we see it.

We've had Marbella come the last 2 years, each time for large projects. Year 1, they installed a retaining wall and brought in soil to raise the backyard. They added a sprinkling system and Sod. They also brought in gravel for the garden area and compacted some road base for a future patio.
Year 2, they added the gazillion pavers needed for our 16x60 patio and new pathway to the front yard, edging and slip fence/gates to the front and sides of the property.

Pros:
Franco is great to work with. I know a lot of his crew don't speak English very well, but there's enough translator apps out there that it doesn't really matter. Franco is thoughtful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the project is done right.
For example, we had a section of fence that wasn't cut right. I didn't say anything, but after installing it, the crew saw the mistake and pulled the boards, reset the post 2 inches over and then replaced the boards.

The team is very good at hardscaping. The team members that created the retaining wall set the base in concrete, kept it level and straight. Even after a freeze/thaw cycle, there was no settling. The pavers added in year 2 were straight and level. Extra care was taken to make the perimeter look really sharp.

Once the team is working, they worked quickly to get our job done. There was a bit of a wait, but that's to be expected during the busy season.

We had issues with the gates and Franco was thorough in ensuring each issue was resolved and each lock keyed correctly.

The team cleaned the site well when they were done. Even pressure washed the tire tracks from their bobcat.

Cons:
I'm a perfectionist, so seeing metal edging that isn't perfectly straight is bothersome. However, we did downgrade to the cheaper stuff to cut cost, so I get that its harder to keep in line.

The sod we had layed in year 1 is about 10% dead even with very thorough watering. The sprinkler plan was generated by RainBird, but I'm not sure it was vetted by Franco's team. Some of the head placements seem a little off. In any case, we think there's a grub infestation in several places. We're hoping it will come back next year now that we've treated for it.

Overall, I'm happy with Marbella. I'd probably say it was a 4.5 star service, but I'm difficult to please :D

A few years back we had Marbella Landscaping do our Christmas Lights and fix a backflow preventer, my wife and I had a good experience with them so when our Backyard needed a complete overhaul there was no hesitation in calling Franco with Marbella Landscaping. He had my quote back to me within 24 hours and was able to get us on the schedule to following week. The amount of work these guys can accomplish in 3 days is extremely impressive. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get Christmas Lights, Fencing, Pavers, Sprinklers, Sod or Artificial Turf done at a fair price with high quality customer service and work.

Franco has been my point of contact and has done a great job keeping me in the loop and making sure every part of the job is going how I want it to. They have been great to give suggestion on what would look good and then letting me and my wife decide. The work has been great and they have been quick to respond and are getting the job done well and at a good pace!

The fence quality was good, initial appointment was good. The rest was horrible. I was looking for someone who could install on a tight timeline. I made that clear when I first called and when they came to do the initial estimate. They were responsive and quick until I signed up to have this company do it. From that point on they missed several appointments to come and work, with no notice to me. Was initially quoted 1 week, for a very small portion of fence/gate. It took 4 weeks, and at least 5 no-shows on their part. About mid-day I would message and ask if they were going to be showing up that day. Most of the time I got no response and if I did it was several days later. We had a dog we would have to make arrangements for, which we did multiple times for them to no-show. Once the fence finally went in, I will say it is a quality fence. They sure wanted their payment immediately, after no-showing and blowing me off multiple times, so I guess timelines matter when it’s their time/money. Despite the quality, I would not recommend them.

We have had Marbella come out and do some landscaping for us and they did a great job, enough so that we reached out again for our next project and we recommend them to others as well. They installed our fence and did some hard scape as well as as sod, pavers and a brick patio. Franco is great to work with!!

Working with contractors of any kind can be difficult. Hopefully no one is naive to that fact. Our experience with Marbella although taking a little longer than expected, ended up being an exceptional experience. Thanks to Franco we got just what we wanted at a fair price. Marbella is great! I got three estimates from different companies and these guys were comparable to the other two , but were much more accommodating to my requests. When Franco said they could get to my job on a certain date, that's when they showed up. Roman was the job superintendant. He is outstanding! Everyday they gave me a summary of what they got done and what the next step was. I felt very comfortable having them do the job. These guys do excellent work! If you are wondering if you should choose these guys over another company...stop thinking and call Marbella. Franco, Roman and their team will treat you right!

We recently did our backyard landscaping project with Marbella. We got quotes from a number of landscapers, but ultimately decided upon Marbella after we saw the job they did for our neighbors. The price we paid was the best we found. And not only that, the job they did was beautiful and surprisingly fast! It’s a dream come true for us, as we’ve wanted a landscaped backyard for a long time. We also promised our chocolate Lab he’d get grass in his backyard when we bought this house. 😉 We are very much looking forward to a fun summer in our new gorgeous backyard. We wholeheartedly recommend Marbella. And will definitely use them again in the future for additional landscaping projects.

Marbella Landscaping did an awesome job putting in a stone walkway and adding flowers along the sides. The whole area looks completely different now — clean, colorful, and super well put together. They beat another company’s price and still gave top-notch quality. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, and made sure every detail was perfect.

You can tell they really care about their work. The walkway came out super even and the plants look amazing. They even cleaned everything up when they finished. I’m really happy I went with Marbella Landscaping and would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants great work for a fair price

We made the mistake of using 2 other contractors before coming back to Marbella and we regret the wasted time and money we put toward anyone else. Save yourself, and just pick Marbella now. Though the other contractors sold us on their lesser priced quotes, they also little by little increased their quote as the project ensued and eventually any "savings" we thought we were making, slowly disappeared in "unforeseen" details that really amounted to their lack of experience playing out but coming back to bite us in the end when the invoice came due. With Marbella, they walk you through the process in great detail, they nail down the tiny details in advance that I certainly didn't think through without their help. And then give you the fully detailed budget to go with each of those costs. Any changes made mid-stream are also fully fleshed out before moving forward. Prices are agreed upon and decisions are clear. The other contractors don't "gift" you those changes or those details...they just spring them on you later because you never quite have the full conversation and you assume your hurried text messages are somehow just part of the project total they already agreed to, but they are not. They will tell you they are, but they are not and at the end they inform you of the paperwork and invoice details that never fully got fleshed out until the end.

Marbella has each part of the process separated but communicating in sync. The person who does the invoices is on the same text thread as the guy who lets you choose a different brick color AND the one delivering it and installing it, so no one is out of the loop at any time. You're not caught off guard and neither is the installer. The communication loop is amazing. The quality of Marbella's work is above and beyond any of the other contractors. They caught mistakes the other contractors made and fixed them. Marbella had to redo work the other contractors did poorly. When i say we regret not choosing Marbella from the get-go, I really mean we regret it 100 fold. Marbella guarantees their work and only do that because they do it right the first time.

Their installers are hard working and professional and kind and easy to have around your family. They even suffered the constant anxiety of our idiot dog with grace and patience. With Marbella, everyone in the whole process is easy to work with, easy to communicate with, and efficient and hard working and calm and amenable to the scattered and vague ideas I cook up along the way.

They did an amazing job on our yard renovation, from design to scheduling to carrying out the project itself and then following up with finish details they were easy to work with and prompt on their communication. Highly recommend them for your next big yard project!
