After the biggest winter Utah has ever seen and a very damaged roof from massive ice dams, I opted to replace my roof entirely with snow bars to retain the snow and heat cable on the cold edges. OTR Electric installed all the heat cable and after 60 inches of snow my roof looks the best on the street. Two days after the storm cycle and the heat cable has melted the snow complete on the edges of the roof and is keeping the water flowing in my gutters. The job required OTR to run higher voltage to power the heat cable that self regulates which helps keep the electric bill down to only a few hundred a month. Much better than my neighbor who pays much more than this a month for their heat cable. I am an extremely happy customer who doesn't have to worry about the threat of ice dams continuing to damage my house. I will use OTR for all my electrical needs going forward. They are the only option in Summit County as far as I am concerned.
