After the biggest winter Utah has ever seen and a very damaged roof from massive ice dams, I opted to replace my roof entirely with snow bars to retain the snow and heat cable on the cold edges. OTR Electric installed all the heat cable and after 60 inches of snow my roof looks the best on the street. Two days after the storm cycle and the heat cable has melted the snow complete on the edges of the roof and is keeping the water flowing in my gutters. The job required OTR to run higher voltage to power the heat cable that self regulates which helps keep the electric bill down to only a few hundred a month. Much better than my neighbor who pays much more than this a month for their heat cable.

I am an extremely happy customer who doesn't have to worry about the threat of ice dams continuing to damage my house. I will use OTR for all my electrical needs going forward. They are the only option in Summit County as far as I am concerned.

Needed an electrician so took a chance on KES. I'm glad I did! Oscar was great. Within a half hour, he diagnosed and fixed my problem - tracking down a short that kept tripping the circuit breaker. He even took time out of his schedule to replace a switch that has been on my to-do list for a while but wasn't a big enough job to be critical. I highly recommend!!

Robert at KES is an absolute joy to work with. He's very professional and treats his clients like family. He gets the work done effectively in a timely manner and his rates are more than fair. He's a top notch electrician! I am thrilled with both the panel he installed for me and the repairs he has completed.

Oscar did some great work for us installing new breakers and connections for heat tape this morning at our home. He really knows the trade well and is very neat and tidy during the whole process. We also had him replace a low voltage transformer on a very high ceiling.

He explained the new configuration perfectly and easily answered all my questions.

HORRIBLE CODE VIOLATIONS AND FIRE HAZARD!!!! I am Retired Master Electrician, with 2 State Licenses, and Contractor for 38 Years. This company wired my House in Aspen Springs Ranch, Park City in 2004. I bought this in '14.
Today, I go to replace my fluorescent fixtures, with upgraded LED panels and to my COMPLETE SURPRISE, I found NO JUNCTION BOXES! EVERY
Fixture I have looked at, So far, I have counted 24!!! HAVE NO J-BOXES!!!!! Junction Boxes are a requirement in the National Electrical code. No J-Box = Safety & Fire Hazard! See, NEC Article 314.
LOOK at the Pictures! See the sharp metal edges in direct contact with the Wiring? I'm really surprised how they could pass rough-in inspection with Park City.
I guess, PC has the Best Inspectors Money Can BUY?
These Short Cuts save less than a dollar per fixture and are COMPLETE FIRE HAZARDS!!!. Now I have to spend days installing J-Boxes, because the new LED panels are only an inch thick and don't have room for wires that should be in a J-Box!!!!
I don't care if this is new ownership, old habits are hard to break. Now, I really concerned how many short cut, code violations are inside the WALLS!
