Yellowstone recently installed our vinyl fence. They will also be doing our landscaping in the spring. They came highly recommended by two friends of ours. I was very impressed with them during the vinyl installation. They came out when they said they would, they work efficiently, and the fence looks great. I have gotten quite a few compliments from neighbors. The owner responds quickly when I text him, and he was quick to inform me when my gates were going to take an extra week or so due to the Christmas holiday. I would highly recommend them!

Yellowstone did an absolutely amazing job with our fence. Greg and his crew showed total professionalism and expertise in their work. We knew exactly when the work would start and completely finish (which we were totally satisfied with the finished product). If you are looking for a top notch fence, sprinkler, and landscaper company, Greg and his crew are the guys to go with. Recommend 100%!

I wish I could give these guys more than 5 stars! They were phenomenal from start to finish. Greg was very professional and I was extremely happy with his communication style. We were kept in the loop through the whole process. He let us know months in advance that we would be delayed a little bit because of how wet it was this year with all the rain/snow. I was happy he let us know so far in advance. He also kept us updated on the pricing as we changed a few things while they were working on our project. Nothing was a surprise. They were also super fast as well as careful, making sure the quality of their work was more than satisfactory. Yellowstone crew was friendly, professional, and communicated well. Questions/concerns were resolved immediately. You can tell these guys know their stuff. I will be referring them to everyone I know.

We had a great experience working with Yellowstone Landscaping. They were professional, knowledgeable, and super fast to get our entire yard in. Not only was Greg very responsive to my initial inquiry, he provided me with a free estimate, which was clear and easy to understand.

The company also does not cut corners and did a complete and thorough job in half the time it took the neighbors contractor to complete their job.

Overall, I had a great experience working with Yellowstone Landscaping and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a landscaping company in Ogden or the surrounding areas.

I had just moved back to Utah, to a new build and needed fencing and landscaping done. I got estimates from several companies, and decided to go with Yellowstone, based on their reviews. Greg and his whole crew were AWESOME to work with, and were very patient with all of my changes, second guessing my decisions, and helping me save money. If there was something his company didn't handle, he was able to refer me to someone who did. Can't say enough good things about Yellowstone, my house is beginning to look like a home.

Greg and his crew at Yellowstone did an amazing job with our fence! They were great at working with us to design our fence the way we wanted and were even able to cut down some of the trees and flatten out the back of our lot to make our yard even bigger. After we decided on our plans they were quick to get our fence up and completed. I highly recommend Yellowstone fence sprinkler and landscaping!

Even with twin delays and other issues outside of their control, they were able to finish all landscaping within 4 days. I contacted Greg at Yellowstone. He came to my job site and gave me a firm quote the same day as I called. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I arranged for him and his team to complete final grade, sprinkler system and sod installation. He and his team arrived the day he promised with everything they needed to do my projects. His team was experienced and immediately began working. They too were very respectful and had great attitudes. Everything was completed in a timely manor and done to my satisfaction. I talked with Greg a couple of times during and after completion. He was very responsive and thorough answering my questions. He also freely gave me detailed information on fence instillation problems from another company which was installing my vinyl fencing. I wish that I would have had Yellowstone do my fencing!!! I realize now that if you find a GOOD contractor it is best for them to do all associated projects. I would recommend Yellowstone to anyone looking for a contractor for any outside projects.

Yellowstone was an excellent choice for our new build, and we are thrilled with the outcome of our yard, fenced garden area, vinyl fencing and dog run. Greg, the owner, is a trustworthy person who honored his initial quote almost perfectly. Throughout the building process, he kept us informed and even offered cost-saving suggestions. We also hired him to oversee the cement work, and although there was a small issue, the contractor rectified it immediately. We were impressed with the efficiency of Greg's team, and they were all courteous and friendly. We highly recommend Yellowstone if you're looking for an honest company that takes pride in its work.

He got me into his schedule rather quickly. The fence was up in no time. I had a great experience with Yellowstone and would highly recommend them.

When my fence gate fell apart I called Greg at Yellowstone. He was very responsive and was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone. He ordered the new gate as soon as I gave him the OK to do so, and it was installed as soon as it was received from the factory! The received gate had a crack in the vinyl that Greg replaced immediately, which was great service!

Very easy to work with. They took care of any concerns I had, they worked quickly and the quality is outstanding! They put in a double gate so I can have a small man gate for access and still open it up and remove the center post for equipment or a trailer to drive through. They tied a gate into an existing fence very cleanly so the existing fence isn't changed saving money and not disrupting the neighbors.

I want to start by giving credit where it’s due. Over the last two years, I’ve hired Yellowstone Fence, Sprinkler & Landscaping for three different projects across my real estate properties. The **quality of work has always been excellent**. Their crews are hardworking, and they’ve delivered beautiful fencing and landscaping that added real curb appeal. From Ogden to Roy, the workmanship has been consistent, and I had planned to continue using them.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with the owner, Greg, has forced me to reconsider.

On a Friday night, I received an invoice nearly **20% higher than the original signed estimate**. The increase was due to additional footage of fencing and sprinkler damage caused by their team—charges I had not been informed about beforehand. Given my demanding schedule as a military member, Govenment Contractor, business owner and working in a secured facility, I sent a text around **10:30 PM** asking for clarification. This wasn’t out of the ordinary—Greg and I had communicated after hours and on weekends before.

What followed shocked me: Greg called within minutes, **yelling** and threatening to **tear out the fence on Monday**, accusing me of disrespecting his personal time. This was after nearly **two years of professional interaction** where no business-hour boundaries were ever set or communicated.

To be clear:

* I **wasn’t disputing the fence**—it looked great.
* I simply wanted clarification why the invoice was 20% higher, and why I was being billed for sprinkler repairs caused by his crew.
* As someone who manages dozens of contractors across multiple properties, respectful and flexible communication is a must.

Greg later followed up with a text saying, “We’ve bent over backwards at your every request... While you have nickel and dimed every last aspect… I will no longer take customer calls or texts after hours.” This message and the tone it carried were unprofessional and dismissive, especially considering I’ve always paid in full and been courteous despite my unpredictable hours.

I did pay the full invoice, and we spoke again the following Monday during business hours to resolve the issue. However, the **threatening response, the lack of empathy**, and the overall **hostile tone** left a lasting negative impression.

**Bottom line:**
If you’re looking for **great craftsmanship**, you’ll likely be happy with the final product. But if you value clear communication, mutual respect, and professional customer service—**especially if you’re a busy professional or military member like me**—then I recommend proceeding with caution.

The Yellowstone team installed a fence and landscaping for my 1/2 acre lot. They did a terrific job, kept me informed during the process, and left the job site clean. Thanks for a job well done!

Greg and his crew did a fabulous job on our yard! A bunch of hard workers . They had to move a ton of rock for the front yard and sod in the back yard, it looks absolutely amazing! We definitely recommend Yellowstone and would use them again for other projects!

Yellowstone’s bid was in line with everyone else’s however, his willingness to adapt to what we wanted and what he believed would work best for us was a good experience. He was not pushy. The job turned out beautiful. One of the rare things for a contractor is, what he said and promised is what happened, That included times that they would be here and what would be done. I would use or recommend Yellowstone Landscaping anytime!

If only I had known about Yellowstone when we started our landscaping project. We used a contractor that did not finish his contract and skipped out on us leaving the lighting undone with electrical wire exposed everywhere in our yard. Greg was referred to me by a reputable home builder. He is amazing, honest and fair. He finished the landscape lighting and it is beautiful. I know I can call Greg if anything comes up and he will do a great job. Don’t hesitate to use Yellowstone!!
